Psalm 5:4 says, "For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness; with you, evil people are not welcome." It's so important to spend time reflecting on God's word. It's like our instruction manual for life, you know? If you want to experience true joy and peace, it's essential to align your life with the commands and principles God laid out for us in the Bible.
So, think about what areas of your life might not be pleasing to God. What needs to change? Take a step back and let His voice guide you toward truth. He rejects wickedness, so let's examine our hearts and make sure there's no crookedness within us. It's all about getting right with God, repenting of our wrongdoings, and allowing His mercy to transform us.
His mercy is so great, and He wants to save your soul, cleanse you, and restore you. He wants you to live a life that's pleasing to Him, a life that's like a sweet fragrance in His presence. Think of it like that, a beautiful aroma rising up to heaven. That's what He desires for you.
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Neither shall evil dwell with thee.
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: For the righteous God Trieth the hearts and reins.
These six things doth the LORD hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto him:A proud look, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood,An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief,A false witness that speaketh lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren.
Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
Enter not into the path of the wicked, And go not in the way of evil men.Avoid it, pass not by it, Turn from it, and pass away.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; From the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: Neither shall evil dwell with thee.The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Break thou the arm of the wicked And the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:these are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: But destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.The righteous shall never be removed: But the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne shall be established in righteousness.
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; Yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, Neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; And their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, And his ears are open unto their prayers: But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?Unless the LORD had been my help, My soul had almost dwelt in silence.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: But the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
The LORD trieth the righteous: But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Fret not thyself because of evil men, Neither be thou envious at the wicked;For there shall be no reward to the evil man; The candle of the wicked shall be put out.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: But the way of the ungodly shall perish.
let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: For the righteous God Trieth the hearts and reins.My defence is of God, Which saveth the upright in heart.God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day.
Blessings are upon the head of the just: But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
A naughty person, a wicked man, Walketh with a froward mouth.He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, He teacheth with his fingers;Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; He soweth discord.Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, There is none that doeth good.The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, And seek God.They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: And by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, Neither will he help the evil doers:Till he fill thy mouth with laughing, And thy lips with rejoicing.They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame; And the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought.
Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: Preserve me from the violent man;Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; Continually are they gathered together for war.
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: But to the counsellors of peace is joy.
Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;but glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Be not thou envious against evil men, Neither desire to be with them.For their heart studieth destruction, And their lips talk of mischief.
The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, That there is no fear of God before his eyes.For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath left off to be wise, and to do good.He deviseth mischief upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.
He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, And layeth up deceit within him;When he speaketh fair, believe him not: For there are seven abominations in his heart.Whose hatred is covered by deceit, His wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; It shall not cleave to me.A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: But the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts:And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, From the man that speaketh froward things;Who leave the paths of uprightness, To walk in the ways of darkness;Who rejoice to do evil, And delight in the frowardness of the wicked;Whose ways are crooked, And they froward in their paths:
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: But the words of the pure are pleasant words.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters.
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;he shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man; Who have purposed to overthrow my goings.The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set gins for me. Selah.
as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God.They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: But wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: Thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

An unjust man is an abomination to the just: And he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the noisome pestilence.
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of his saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
He that deviseth to do evil Shall be called a mischievous person.The thought of foolishness is sin: And the scorner is an abomination to men.
Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: Let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.Let the lying lips be put to silence; Which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
for he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
For He that will love life, And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips that they speak no guile:Let him eschew evil, and do good; Let him seek peace, and ensue it.
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: But destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
There are the workers of iniquity fallen: They are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
Pride goeth before destruction, And an haughty spirit before a fall.Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.
