If any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you:
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
Give therefore to thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
And that from a child thou hast known the sacred scriptures, which are able to make thee wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me.I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy to him that understandeth.
TAU. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.
And God gave Solomon great wisdom and understanding, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yes, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
My son, if thy heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.Yes, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.
And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, who call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
For God giveth to a man who is good in his sight, wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth toil, to gather, and to amass, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Let thy eyes look right on, and let thy eyelids look straight before thee.Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night season.
But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
My son, attend to my wisdom, and bow thy ear to my understanding:That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
And we know that the Son of God hath come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.
