Trust in the LORD with all thy heart; and lean not to thy own understanding.In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct thy paths.
I will instruct thee, and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with my eye.
If any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.Though he should fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
And thy ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
And the LORD will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drouth, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul to thee.
But, when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all the truth: for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he shall hear, that will he speak: and he will show you things to come.
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.
Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God, who teacheth thee to profit, who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldst go.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; and every good path.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yes, I will help thee; yes, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness, because of my enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.
The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear to hear as the learned.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do for them, and not forsake them.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night season.
Call to me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth to counsel is wise.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he will strengthen thy heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yes, I shall observe it with my whole heart.Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
Pray without ceasing.In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
Wherefore, seeing we also are encompassed with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like-minded one towards another according to Christ Jesus:That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for to thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and abundant in mercy to all them that call upon thee.
Not with eye-service, as men-pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he will sustain thee: he will never suffer the righteous to be moved.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And I say to you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you.
My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.
This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in operation.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in by it.Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth to life, and few there are that find it.
Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing from the Lord.A man unsettled in his opinions is unstable in all his ways.
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut asunder the bars of iron:And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, who call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
If any man speaketh let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man ministereth let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Then shalt thou call, and the LORD will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here I am. If thou shalt take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye are otherwise minded, God will reveal even this to you.
For whatever things were written formerly, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
But as for me, my prayer is to thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things with which one may edify another.
My son, forget not my law; but let thy heart keep my commandments;For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
I exhort therefore, that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men;
Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed on him, If ye continue in my word, ye are my disciples indeed;And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Incline your ear, and come to me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
For even to this were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints, according to the will of God.
Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end;
And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow to thee with their face towards the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name.
Now he who establisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the spirit in our hearts.
But he that doeth truth, cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who from God is made to us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
