Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way;though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand.
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Do not be conformed to this world,[3] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.[4]
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints.Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path;
Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.
fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary. Morning by morning he awakens; he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.
And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart.Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,
pray without ceasing,give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Ponder[3] the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.
Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose.
For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, "In returning[3] and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." But you were unwilling,
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Gladden the soul of your servant, for to you, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as servants[3] of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,that the man of God[2] may be competent, equipped for every good work.
Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
and many peoples shall come, and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths." For out of Zion shall go the law,[1] and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me.
these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
This also comes from the LORD of hosts; he is wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom.
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy[1] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
"I will go before you and level the exalted places,[1] I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron,I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.
whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies -- in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.[1]Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, 'Here I am.' If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold[1] of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
This God -- his way is perfect;[3] the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us[1] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.
Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because[6] the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet[2] I will be confident.
Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold,for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.
Kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. With their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you, and lick the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame."
as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us,and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.[5]
But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been carried out in God."
He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
Do all things without grumbling or questioning,that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
