
Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,\par\tab And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him,\par\tab And he will direct thy paths.
Show me thy ways, O Jehovah;\par\tab Teach me thy paths.Guide me in thy truth, and teach me;\par\tab For thou art the God of my salvation;\par\tab For thee do I wait all the day.
and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it; when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
A man's goings are established of Jehovah;\par\tab And he delighteth in his way.Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;\par\tab For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:\par\tab I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.\par
Establish my footsteps in thy word;\par\tab And let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard {\i it}, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul:\par\tab The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart:\par\tab The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
For Jehovah giveth wisdom;\par\tab Out of his mouth {\i cometh} knowledge and understanding:
In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.\par
For this God is our God for ever and ever:\par\tab He will be our guide {\i even} unto death.\par
fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Where no wise guidance is, the people falleth;\par\tab But in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
for God is not {\i a God} of confusion, but of peace.\par\par\tab As in all the churches of the saints,
Search me, O God, and know my heart:\par\tab Try me, and know my thoughts;And see if there be any wicked way in me,\par\tab And lead me in the way everlasting.

And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men;knowing that from the Lord ye shall receive the recompense of the inheritance: ye serve the Lord Christ.
Jehovah is nigh unto all them that call upon him,\par\tab To all that call upon him in truth.
The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge;\par\tab {\i But} the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water will he guide them.
And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for {\i us} with groanings which cannot be uttered;
Be still, and know that I am God:\par\tab I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Every one therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock:and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock.
Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me:\par\tab Let them bring me unto thy holy hill,\par\tab And to thy tabernacles.
Great peace have they that love thy law;\par\tab And they have no occasion of stumbling.
Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of {\i our} faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
The plans of the heart belong to man;\par\tab But the answer of the tongue is from Jehovah.
The opening of thy words giveth light;\par\tab It giveth understanding unto the simple.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ye are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.Neither do {\i men} light a lamp, and put it under the bushel, but on the stand; and it shineth unto all that are in the house.Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.\par
Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed;\par\tab But in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger;\par\tab But they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good thing.
Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear:\par\tab What can man do unto me?Jehovah is on my side among them that help me:\par\tab Therefore shall I see {\i my desire} upon them that hate me.
Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow,\par\tab To cast down the poor and needy,\par\tab To slay such as are upright in the way.
and even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I carry {\i you}; I have made, and I will bear; yea, I will carry, and will deliver.
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem: believe in Jehovah your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal:but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
Jehovah, thou wilt ordain peace for us; for thou hast also wrought all our works for us.
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;
to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Jehovah, that he may be glorified.\par
I know, O Jehovah, that thy judgments are righteous,\par\tab And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool;\par\tab But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.}\par
and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting {\i one another}; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.\par
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that {\i life} which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, {\i the faith} which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
For Jehovah is good; his lovingkindness {\i endureth} for ever,\par\tab And his faithfulness unto all generations.\par
