VERSES ABOUT PRAYER

VERSES ABOUT PRAYER

Think about what you need and ask God for it. Like any good parent, He knows what His children need. Prayer should absolutely include asking for things, because when you ask God for something, you're acknowledging your own limitations. Whatever your situation, bring your needs to the Lord – whether it's provision, protection, healing, or guidance – and just ask for His help.

Psalm 139:41 says, "Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely." Prayer unlocks the treasures of God's Kingdom. It's a key the Creator has placed right in your hand, and He wants you to use it.

It would be so easy for Him to just give you everything you need; everything belongs to Him, and the whole universe is under His command. He could easily provide for you without you ever having to ask. But that's not how He designed it. God loves you, and His greatest desire is to have a close relationship with you. Prayer is the channel through which His provision flows into your life.

And they were not willing to walk in his law.And they have been forgetful of his benefits, and of his miracle, which he revealed to them.He performed miracles in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Tanis. He broke the sea and he led them through. And he stationed the waters, as if in a vessel. And he led them with a cloud by day, and with illumination by fire throughout the night. He broke through the rock in the wasteland, and he gave them to drink, as if from the great abyss. He brought forth water from the rock, and he conducted the waters, as if they were rivers. And yet, they continued to sin against him. In a waterless place, they provoked the Most High with resentment. And they tempted God in their hearts, by asking for food according to their desires. And they spoke badly about God. Prayer

Oh, Almighty God! I come before you today, in Jesus' name, surrendering all my burdens and anxieties. Lift this weight from me, Lord, take away all affliction and depression. You are the one who holds me up and whispers, "Don't be afraid, I'm here to help." Today, I ask for your peace and guidance over my life and the lives of my family. Thank you, Lord, for your word reminds me, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" In this time of hardship and scarcity, I know you are watching over me. I declare that my God will provide for all my needs, according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Scatter all darkness and gloom, Lord. I declare that the light of Christ shines brightly on my finances, and that my work will be an instrument you use to bless me. Thank you for being my rock and my fortress in the hardest of times. Give me the courage and wisdom to face any adversity. Thank you, Lord, because through your word, I have hope that victory will be mine, that you will provide for me and sustain me with your righteous right hand. Even in my darkest moments, my trust and hope will always be in you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
