I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: Unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.
They have seen thy goings, O God; Even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; Among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
