VERSES ABOUT PEACE

Even though this world we live in is full of violence, and your everyday life might be filled with conflict and confusion, God has promised you a peace that passes all understanding. We should strive, as God's children, to seek that peace every day and show His love.

You are called to have peace in the midst of any hardship you may face. Trusting in God will help you maintain that peace. His word says in Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."

God calls you to trust in Him. It might be hard right now, in your time of trouble and distress, but if you put your trust in your Heavenly Father, He will give you peace. God has already overcome the world. Don't be afraid. God has everything in His hands, and He's taking care of you.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you—not as the world gives, I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

Now may the Lord of peace himself grant you peace through everything in every way. May the Lord be with all of you.

May Yahweh give strength to his people. May Yahweh bless his people with peace.

You will protect a firm inclination in peace, in peace because he trusts in you.

And the peace of Christ must rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.

I have said these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction, but have courage! I have conquered the world.”

Come to me, all of you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke on you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”For my yoke is easy to carry and my burden is light.”

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

And my people will dwell in a settlement of peace and in a dwelling place of security and in undisturbed resting places.

Loyal love and faithfulness will meet one another; righteousness and peace will kiss.

Look, I am going to bring healing and health to it, and I will heal them, and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and reliability.

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose,

And he said, “My presence will go, and I will give you rest.”

I have taken as my own your testimonies forever, for they are the joy of my heart.

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in all affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

“Please reconcile yourself with him, and be at peace; in this way, good will come to you.

For I know the plans that I am planning concerning you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for prosperity and not for harm, to give to you a future and a hope.

God is our refuge and strength, a very sufficient help in troubles.

The Spirit himself confirms to our spirit that we are children of God,

Trouble and anguish have found me; your commands delight me.

I have spoken these things to you in order that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be made complete.

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,

enabled with all power, according to his glorious might, for all steadfastness and patience with joy,

and binding shoes under your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace,

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; the battle bow will be cut down, and he will announce peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

“Blessed be Yahweh who gave a resting place to his people Israel. According to all that he promised, not one word has fallen from all of his promises concerning the good which he spoke through the hand of Moses his servant.

Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

For the mountains may depart, and the hills may sway, but my faithfulness shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not sway,” says Yahweh, who has compassion on you,

Finally, brothers, rejoice, be restored, be encouraged, be in agreement, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Turn from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it.

For he himself is our peace, who made both one and broke down the dividing wall of the partition, the enmity, in his flesh,

For a child has been born for us; a son has been given to us. And the dominion will be on his shoulder, and his name is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

I will hear what God, Yahweh, will speak, because he will speak peace to his people, even his faithful ones, but let them not return to folly.

being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace;

But he was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and by his wounds we were healed.

casting all your cares on him, because he cares for you.

Please let your loyal love comfort me, according to your word to your servant.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.

How delightful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns as a king.”

he makes your border peaceful; he satisfies you with the finest of wheat.

So then, let us pursue what promotes peace and what edifies one another.

Now may the God of peace be with all of you. Amen.

This is my comfort in my misery: that your word preserves my life.

and to esteem them beyond all measure in love, because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

Blessed are the peacemakers, because they will be called sons of God.

My flesh and heart failed, but God is the strength of my heart and my reward forever.

Yahweh, you will establish peace for us, for you have done even all of our works for us.

And the things which you have learned and received and heard about and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

O that you had listened attentively to my commandments! Then your prosperity would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

For thus says Yahweh: “Look! I am about to spread prosperity out to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you shall suck and be carried on the hip; and you shall you shall be played with on the knees.
