For you have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in distress, shelter from the storm, shade from the heat — for the blast from the ruthless was like a storm that could destroy a wall.
For God gave us a Spirit who produces not timidity, but power, love and self-discipline.
for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, shalom and joy in the Ruach HaKodesh.

We have this hope as a sure and safe anchor for ourselves, a hope that goes right on through to what is inside the parokhet,
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, your judgments are like the great deep. You save man and beast, Adonai.How precious, God, is your grace! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings,
And how can people proclaim him unless God sends them? — as the Tanakh puts it, “How beautiful are the feet of those announcing good news about good things!”
through our God’s most tender mercy, which causes the Sunrise to visit us from Heaven,to shine on those in darkness, living in the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the paths of peace.”
Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, behave like a mentsh, grow strong.Let everything you do be done in love.
Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength!Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary.
Adonai is a stronghold for the oppressed, a tower of strength in times of trouble.He will judge the world in righteousness; he will judge the peoples fairly.
But the Lord is worthy of trust; he will make you firm and guard you from the Evil One.
Fearing human beings is a snare; but he who trusts in Adonai will be raised high [above danger].
Yes, you will go out with joy, you will be led forth in peace. As you come, the mountains and hills will burst out into song, and all the trees in the countryside will clap their hands.
I don’t think the sufferings we are going through now are even worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us in the future.

He will not let your foot slip — your guardian is not asleep.No, the guardian of Isra’el never slumbers or sleeps.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,humility, self control. Nothing in the Torah stands against such things.
Also, make it your ambition to live quietly, to mind your own business and to earn your living by your own efforts — just as we told you.
It was in this hope that we were saved. But if we see what we hope for, it isn’t hope — after all, who hopes for what he already sees?But if we continue hoping for something we don’t see, then we still wait eagerly for it, with perseverance.

God, declare them guilty! Let them fall through their own intrigues, For their many crimes, throw them down; since they have rebelled against you.
For everything written in the past was written to teach us, so that with the encouragement of the Tanakh we might patiently hold on to our hope.
Aren’t sparrows sold for next to nothing, two for an assarion? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s consent.As for you, every hair on your head has been counted.So do not be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.
Moreover, God has the power to provide you with every gracious gift in abundance, so that always in every way you will have all you need yourselves and be able to provide abundantly for every good cause —
Adonai will always guide you; he will satisfy your needs in the desert, he will renew the strength in your limbs; so that you will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails.
