For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of virtue, and of love, and of self-restraint.

Then our mouth was filled with gladness and our tongue with exultation. Then they will say among the nations: "The Lord has done great things for them."

For the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but rather justice and peace and joy, in the Holy Spirit.

A dry morsel with gladness is better than a house full of sacrifices along with conflict.

Instead, you should be a hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptibility of a quiet and a meek spirit, rich in the sight of God.

Let them be confounded and in awe, who pursue my soul. Let them be turned back and be confounded, who think up evil against me.
