"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"

For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, "In returning[3] and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." But you were unwilling,

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.

The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust[1] forever.My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."

In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.[1]He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness[2] for his name's sake.

But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire[3] in his temple.For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.

If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

"Teach me, and I will be silent; make me understand how I have gone astray.

Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.

"For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with all your heart,

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God,for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with a word him who is weary. Morning by morning he awakens; he awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present[2] help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD[2] is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation."

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.Then they were glad that the waters[3] were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven.

Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility

May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless[4] his people with peace!

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"

When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah

O LORD, you will ordain peace for us; you have done for us all our works.

Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints; but let them not turn back to folly.

Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you."

When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I,for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish."

This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

With joy you[3] will draw water from the wells of salvation.

I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

When I thought, "My foot slips," your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up.When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.

For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, "Fear not, I am the one who helps you."

It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be[8] against us?

I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me.

I will say[1] to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
