A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for thou only, LORD, makest me dwell in safety.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places;

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world giveth, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

The LORD is nigh to all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:And if we know that he heareth us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired from him.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Look to me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to publish good tidings to the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;To appoint to them that mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.

For in the time of trouble he will hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle will he hide me; he will set me up upon a rock.

The Spirit itself testifieth with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

For he that will love life, and see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:Let him shun evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it.

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.
