“Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.”
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or are we to look for someone else?”For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.”
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
The Lord is my shepherd, I will not be in need.He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For the sake of His name.
One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.No evil will happen to you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. ¶For He will give His angels orders concerning you, To protect you in all your ways.On their hands they will lift you up, So that you do not strike your foot against a stone.You will walk upon the lion and cobra, You will trample the young lion and the serpent. ¶“Because he has loved Me, I will save him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name.“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.“I will satisfy him with a long life, And show him My salvation.”I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever. Then my people will live in a peaceful settlement, In secure dwellings, and in undisturbed resting places;
Peace I leave you, My peace I give you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, nor fearful.
¶Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.
¶Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.
Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
My soul waits in silence for God alone; From Him comes my salvation.Do not trust in oppression, And do not vainly rely on robbery; If wealth increases, do not set your heart on it.¶God has spoken once; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;And faithfulness is Yours, Lord, For You reward a person according to his work.He alone is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
For this is what the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said: “In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength.” But you were not willing,
I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!
¶Why are you in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me? Wait for God, for I will again praise Him For the help of His presence, my God.
God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
“For you will go out with joy And be led in peace; The mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
Bless the Lord, my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits;Bless the Lord, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!Bless the Lord, all you His angels, You who serve Him, doing His will.Bless the Lord, all you works of His, In all places of His dominion; Bless the Lord, my soul!Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases;Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion;Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Those who trust in the Lord Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.
Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The fear of the Lord leads to life, So that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom should I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom should I dread?
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall,
For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.My soul clings to You; Your right hand takes hold of me.
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”so that we confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”
Hear my cry, God; Give Your attention to my prayer.From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me all around.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
¶Search me, God, and know my heart; Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;And see if there is any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.”
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in an exhausted land.
For the Lord God helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have made My face like flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.
“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?And which of you by worrying can add a single day to his life’s span?
How precious is Your mercy, God! And the sons of mankind take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You allow them to drink from the river of Your delights.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.“Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
¶My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my hope is from Him.He alone is my rock and my salvation, My refuge; I will not be shaken.
Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart triumphs, And with my song I shall thank Him.
I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose trust is the Lord.“For he will be like a tree planted by the water That extends its roots by a stream, And does not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought, Nor cease to yield fruit.
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.
“I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”
¶As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
Lord, You will establish peace for us, Since You have also performed for us all our works.
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
And the redeemed of the Lord will return And come to Zion with joyful shouting, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
He caused the storm to be still, So that the waves of the sea were hushed. And gathered from the lands, From the east and from the west, From the north and from the south. Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired harbor.
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
“Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.
Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord anointed me To bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim release to captives And freedom to prisoners; ¶I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a groom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.For as the earth produces its sprouts, And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise To spring up before all the nations.To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
For on the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; He will hide me in the secret place of His tent; He will lift me up on a rock.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; When you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil,
“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.
For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than live in the tents of wickedness.
¶But rejoice, all who take refuge in You, Sing for joy forever! And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may rejoice in You.
And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is his treasure.
And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
for it is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.
For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.“He must turn away from evil and do good; He must seek peace and pursue it.
Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the Lord surrounds His people From this time and forever.
Some praise their chariots and some their horses, But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God.
Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.For our momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your hearts before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah
But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, Slow to anger and abundant in mercy and truth.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will consider you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, in accordance with the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones.
For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good.
But now, this is what the Lord says, He who is your Creator, Jacob, And He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!
Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You.So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;who will transform the body of our lowly condition into conformity with His glorious body, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
for if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¶Make me know Your ways, Lord; Teach me Your paths.Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self,so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth,and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.
