‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,   because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.and asked him, ‘Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else? ’ For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses  all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you.

casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.

The result of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quiet confidence for ever.Then my people will dwell in a peaceful place, in safe and secure dwellings.

‘Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.

but those who trust in the  Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not faint.

Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble   of its own.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.

For the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said: ‘You will be delivered by returning and resting; your strength will lie in quiet confidence. But you are not willing.’

And he replied, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’

Now the mindset of the flesh  is death,  but the mindset of the Spirit is life and peace.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.

A tranquil heart is life to the body, but jealousy is rottenness to the bones.

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.’

May the Lord of peace  himself give you peace always in every way.  The Lord be with all of you.

He will enter into peace – they will rest on their beds   – everyone who lives uprightly.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe,  so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

You will indeed go out with joy and be peacefully guided; the mountains and the hills will break into singing before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

And let the peace of Christ, to which you were also called  in one body, rule your hearts. And be thankful.

Now may the God of peace  himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit,  soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming  of our Lord  Jesus Christ.

The fear of the Lord leads to life; one will sleep at night  without danger.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, and the flame will not burn you.

For he is our peace, who made both groups one  and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In his flesh,

We know that all things work together  for the good  of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,  we have peace  with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the rain, like flowing streams  in a dry land and the shade of a massive rock in an arid land.

The Lord God will help me; therefore I have not been humiliated; therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.

Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.

‘Therefore I tell you:   Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they?Can any of you add one moment to his lifespan   by worrying?

‘Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you.Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,  nor angels nor rulers,  nor things present nor things to come,  nor powers,nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God  that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, since he who promised is faithful.

I am the vine;   you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit,   because you can do nothing without me.

For I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand, who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.

The person who trusts in the  Lord, whose confidence indeed is the  Lord, is blessed. He will be like a tree planted by water: it sends its roots out towards a stream, it doesn’t fear when heat comes, and its foliage remains green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit.

The name of the  Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are protected.  ,

Jesus spoke to them again: ‘I am   the light   of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.’

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!Let your graciousness  be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.

Commit your activities to the  Lord, and your plans will be established.

Rejoice in hope;  be patient in affliction;  be persistent in prayer.

Lord, you will establish peace for us, for you have also done all our work for us.

Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness   #– #without it no one will see the Lord.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,  but righteousness, peace, and joy  in the Holy Spirit.

Blessed be  the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies  and the God of all comfort.He comforts us in all our affliction,  so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

and the ransomed of the  Lord will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.

This is the confidence we have before him: If we ask  anything according to his will, he hears us.And if we know that he hears whatever we ask,  we know that we have what we have asked of him.

Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is no other.

Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need.

The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal  the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; I rejoice greatly in the  Lord, I exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a groom wears a turban and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.to proclaim the year of the  Lord’s favour, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort  all who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the  Lord to glorify him.

When you lie  down, you will not be afraid; you will lie down, and your sleep will be pleasant.

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear.  Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption,  by whom we cry out, ‘Abba,  Father! ’

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved  us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace,encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.

Though the mountains move and the hills shake, my love will not be removed from you and my covenant of peace  will not be shaken,’ says your compassionate Lord.

Don’t be afraid,   little flock,   because your Father delights   to give you the kingdom.

I am sure of this, that he who started a good work  in you  will carry it on to completion  until the day of Christ Jesus.

There will be times of security for you – a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.

The result of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quiet confidence for ever.

For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.

The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit  that we are God’s children,

For the   one who wants to love life and to see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit, and let him turn away   from evil and do what is good. Let him seek peace   and pursue it,

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus #– #the great Shepherd of the sheep   #– #through the blood of the everlasting covenant,equip  you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.  , Amen.

Therefore we do not give up.  Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person  is being renewed day by day.For our momentary light affliction  is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.So we do not focus on what is seen,  but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In view of this, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling,  and by his power fulfil your every desire to do good  and your work produced by faith,so that the name  of our Lord Jesus will be glorified  by you, and you by him,  according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Don’t be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. This will be healing for your body  , and strengthening for your bones.

Now this is what the Lord  says – the one who created you, Jacob, and the one who formed you, Israel   – ‘Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are mine.

We love  because he first loved us.

Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of his glorious  body,  by the power that enables him to subject everything to himself.

God is faithful;  you were called by him  into fellowship with his Son,  Jesus Christ our Lord.

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Because of his great mercy  he has given us new birth  into a living hope  through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the deadand into an inheritance that is imperishable,  undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven  for you.You are being guarded by God’s power  through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.   ,

Now may the God of peace  himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit,  soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming  of our Lord  Jesus Christ.He who calls  you  is faithful; he will do it.

For God loved   the world in this way:   He gave   his one and only   Son,   so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches  of his glory,  to be strengthened with power  in your inner being  through his Spirit,and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love,may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love,and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
