VERSES FOR OFFERINGS

Think about giving – it's truly beautiful in God's eyes. When you're preparing your offering, remember it should be your best, given with a sincere heart. It should be a joyful act, knowing how much God has already blessed us with, even when we don't deserve it. He's been incredibly generous, hasn't He?

If you only give what's leftover, well, life might just mirror that back to you. Think about it – give as if you're giving to yourself. Don't do it out of obligation or because you expect something in return. True giving comes from the heart.

Don't make a big show of it either. It's not about getting praised or patted on the back. Let your giving be a quiet act between you and God. He sees what's in your heart, and He loves a cheerful giver. Remember what it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Giving is an act of worship, a way to give back a portion of what God has already given us. And when God gives, He gives abundantly. When you offer from the heart, you're opening the door for even more blessings. The more you give, the more you receive. It's a beautiful cycle.

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud,and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

In that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me from among all peoples: for all the earth is mine:and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath spoken will we do, and be obedient.And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God; the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go in to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may establish the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgements, that thou mayest live and multiply, and that the LORD thy God may bless thee in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.

For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

For I the LORD love judgement, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompence in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD.But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD; I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you art heart of flesh.And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgements, and do them.

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him that he might fear, and he feared me, and stood in awe of my name.

for this is my blood of the covenant, which is shed for many unto remission of sins.

And the cup in like manner after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, even that which is poured out for you.

But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.For if that first covenant had been faultless, then would no place have been sought for a second.

And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that a death having taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they that have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; then saith he,And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.

Now the LORD said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto the land that I will shew thee:And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was sore in the land.And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:and it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake, and that my soul may live because of thee.And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.And the princes of Pharaoh saw her, and praised her to Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he-asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she-asses, and camels.And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so that I took her to be my wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and be thou a blessing:And Pharaoh gave men charge concerning him: and they brought him on the way, and his wife, and all that he had.and I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; every male among you shall be circumcised.And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of a covenant betwixt me and you.And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.And I will bless her, and moreover I will give thee a son of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be of her.Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?And Abraham said unto God, Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!And God said, Nay, but Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.Neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's wife; neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them upon two tables of stone, and gave them unto me.And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain did burn with fire, that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;and ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth speak with man, and he liveth.Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.Oh that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

My covenant will I not break, Nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Gather my saints together unto me; Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them: it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfill.For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.

For not through the law was the promise to Abraham or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith.

Brethren, I speak after the manner of men: Though it be but a man's covenant, yet when it hath been confirmed, no one maketh it void, or addeth thereto.Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.

Be surety for thy servant for good: Let not the proud oppress me.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children;

For thus saith the LORD of the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast by my covenant:Unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

And this day shall be unto you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD: throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD, for it is a terrible thing that I do with thee.

Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image in the form of any thing which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.For the LORD thy God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.

And it shall come to pass, because ye hearken to these judgements, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep with thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:and he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy body and the fruit of thy ground, thy corn and thy wine and thine oil, the increase of thy kine and the young of thy flock, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;

But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD; I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:

Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.

I say then, Did God cast off his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, And bow thou down their back alway.I say then, Did they stumble that they might fall? God forbid: but by their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry:if by any means I may provoke to jealousy them that are my flesh, and may save some of them.For if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?And if the firstfruit is holy, so is the lump: and if the root is holy, so are the branches.But if some of the branches were broken off, and thou, being a wild olive, wast grafted in among them, and didst become partaker with them of the root of the fatness of the olive tree;glory not over the branches: but if thou gloriest, it is not thou that bearest the root, but the root thee.Thou wilt say then, Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.God did not cast off his people which he foreknew. Or wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he pleadeth with God against Israel,

by so much also hath Jesus become the surety of a better covenant.

My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, And my covenant shall stand fast with him.

Remember the word unto thy servant, Because thou hast made me to hope.

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.and Hezekiah begat Manasseh; and Manasseh begat Amon; and Amon begat Josiah;and Josiah begat Jechoniah and his brethren, at the time of the carrying away to Babylon.And after the carrying away to Babylon, Jechoniah begat Shealtiel; and Shealtiel begat Zerubbabel;and Zerubbabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;and Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;and Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.So all the generations from Abraham unto David are fourteen generations; and from David unto the carrying away to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon unto the Christ fourteen generations.

To shew mercy towards our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant;The oath which he sware unto Abraham our father,

Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;whose are the fathers, and of whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one which continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.Now that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, is evident: for, The righteous shall live by faith;and the law is not of faith; but, He that doeth them shall live in them.Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Now even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and its sanctuary, a sanctuary of this world.

the Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holy place hath not yet been made manifest, while as the first tabernacle is yet standing;which is a parable for the time now present; according to which are offered both gifts and sacrifices that cannot, as touching the conscience, make the worshipper perfect,

and the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be a peculiar people unto himself, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

He sheweth his word unto Jacob, His statutes and his judgements unto Israel.The LORD doth build up Jerusalem; He gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.He hath not dealt so with any nation: And as for his judgements, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee whithersoever thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

And God said, Nay, but Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before thee life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that thou mayest live, thou and thy seed:and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;to love the LORD thy God, to obey his voice, and to cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

He maketh peace in thy borders; He filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

But chose the tribe of Judah, The mount Zion which he loved.And he built his sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth which he hath established for ever.

And as for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD: my spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel; For he hath visited and wrought redemption for his people,And hath raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of his servant David

For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him:for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may shew forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations.Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.

And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Which made heaven and earth, the sea, And all that in them is; Which keepeth truth for ever:

Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors: yet he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Thus saith the LORD: If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season;then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:

For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

but when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,that he might redeem them which were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

The covenant which he made with Abraham, And his oath unto Isaac;

To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his precepts to do them.

If his children forsake my law, And walk not in my judgements;If they break my statutes, And keep not my commandments;Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.

Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; For they have been ever of old.Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: For his mercy endureth for ever:And brought out Israel from among them: For his mercy endureth for ever:With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: For his mercy endureth for ever.

Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgement to the Gentiles.

knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers;but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, even the blood of Christ:

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

He hath sent redemption unto his people; He hath commanded his covenant for ever: Holy and reverend is his name.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many: and he shall bear their iniquities.

But go ye and learn what this meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice: for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto the LORD: And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Being therefore justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.Therefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed unto all men, for that all sinned:--for until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a figure of him that was to come.But not as the trespass, so also is the free gift. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound unto the many.And not as through one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgement came of one unto condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses unto justification.For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; much more shall they that receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, even Jesus Christ.So then as through one trespass the judgement came unto all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness the free gift came unto all men to justification of life.For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one shall the many be made righteous.through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and let us rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

He hath remembered his covenant for ever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, Slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: Bind them about thy neck; Write them upon the table of thine heart:Strive not with a man without cause, If he have done thee no harm.Envy thou not the man of violence, And choose none of his ways.For the perverse is an abomination to the LORD: But his secret is with the upright.The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked; But he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.Surely he scorneth the scorners, But he giveth grace unto the lowly.The wise shall inherit glory; But shame shall be the promotion of fools.So shalt thou find favour and good understanding In the sight of God and man.

Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;saying to them that are bound, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and on all bare heights shall be their pasture.

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For the LORD is good; his mercy endureth for ever; And his faithfulness unto all generations.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.

And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: The LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

For his anger is but for a moment; In his favour is life: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy cometh in the morning.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.For therein is revealed a righteousness of God by faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of the eternal covenant, even our Lord Jesus,make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, Which I have loved.I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; And I will meditate in thy statutes. ז ZAIN

I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

My covenant will I not break, Nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.Once have I sworn by my holiness; I will not lie unto David;

I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, And have observed thy law.

But it is not as though the word of God hath come to nought. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he; before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

And he remembered for them his covenant, And repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

For thy lovingkindness is better than life; My lips shall praise thee.

yea, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,

The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Bless the LORD O my soul, O LORD my God, thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honour and majesty.He sendeth forth springs into the valleys; They run among the mountains:They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild asses quench their thirst.By them the fowl of the heaven have their habitation, They sing among the branches.He watereth the mountains from his chambers: The earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, And herb for the service of man; That he may bring forth food out of the earth:And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, And oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengtheneth man's heart.The trees of the LORD are satisfied; The cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;Where the birds make their nests: As for the stork, the fir trees are her house.The high mountains are for the wild goats; The rocks are a refuge for the conies.He appointed the moon for seasons: The sun knoweth his going down.Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:Thou makest darkness, and it is night; Wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their meat from God.The sun ariseth, they get them away, And lay them down in their dens.Man goeth forth unto his work And to his labour until the evening.O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.Yonder is the sea, great and wide, Wherein are things creeping innumerable, Both small and great beasts.There go the ships; There is leviathan, whom thou hast formed to take his pastime therein.These wait all upon thee, That thou mayest give them their meat in due season.That thou givest unto them they gather; Thou openest thine hand, they are satisfied with good.Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; Thou takest away their breath they die, And return to their dust.Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who maketh the clouds his chariot; Who walketh upon the wings of the wind:Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created; And thou renewest the face of the ground.Let the glory of the LORD endure for ever; Let the LORD rejoice in his works:Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.Let my meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in the LORD.Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, And let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.Who maketh winds his messengers; His ministers a flaming fire:Who laid the foundations of the earth, That it should not be moved for ever.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
