Think about giving – it's truly beautiful in God's eyes. When you're preparing your offering, remember it should be your best, given with a sincere heart. It should be a joyful act, knowing how much God has already blessed us with, even when we don't deserve it. He's been incredibly generous, hasn't He?
If you only give what's leftover, well, life might just mirror that back to you. Think about it – give as if you're giving to yourself. Don't do it out of obligation or because you expect something in return. True giving comes from the heart.
Don't make a big show of it either. It's not about getting praised or patted on the back. Let your giving be a quiet act between you and God. He sees what's in your heart, and He loves a cheerful giver. Remember what it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
Giving is an act of worship, a way to give back a portion of what God has already given us. And when God gives, He gives abundantly. When you offer from the heart, you're opening the door for even more blessings. The more you give, the more you receive. It's a beautiful cycle.
I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. It will happen, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud, and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh, and the waters will no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
In that day YHWH made a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:
I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God."
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."
He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, "All that YHWH has spoken will we do, and be obedient."Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, "Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which YHWH has made with you concerning all these words."
"'I will have respect for you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.I will set my tent among you: and my soul won't abhor you.I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you will be my people.
Know therefore that YHWH your God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with them who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,
Not for your righteousness, or for the uprightness of your heart, do you go in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations YHWH your God does drive them out from before you, and that he may establish the word which YHWH swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.
Behold, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil;in that I command you this day to love YHWH your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that YHWH your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.
He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations, the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac, and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed," says YHWH who has mercy on you.
"For I, YHWH, love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
Behold, the days come," says YHWH, "that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them," says YHWH."But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days," says YHWH: "I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know YHWH'; for they shall all know me, from their least to their greatest," says YHWH: "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more."
"'I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.
"My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him that he might be reverent toward me; and he was reverent toward me, and stood in awe of my name.
for this is my blood of the New Covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.
Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the New Covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which on better promises has been given as Law.For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
For this reason he is the mediator of a New Covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
"This is the covenant that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says the Lord, 'I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;'" then he says,"I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more."
Now YHWH said to Abram, "Get out of your country, and from your relatives, and from your father's house, to the land that I will show you.I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing.I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you. In you will all of the families of the earth be blessed."
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, YHWH appeared to Abram, and said to him, "I am El Shaddai. Walk before me, and be blameless.I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly."
and said, "I have sworn by myself, says YHWH, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your seed greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your seed will possess the gate of his enemies. In your seed will all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice."
YHWH said to Moses, "Write you these words: for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."He was there with YHWH forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
YHWH our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.YHWH did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.
the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac, and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
"Gather my holy ones together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice."
YHWH, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For truly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the Law, until all things are accomplished.
For the promise to Abraham and to his seed that he should be heir of the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man's covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void, or adds to it.Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, "To seeds," as of many, but as of one, "To your seed," which is Christ.
But YHWH's loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children's children;
For thus says YHWH, "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:to them I will give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
This day shall be to you for a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to YHWH: throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.
He said, "Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been worked in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which you are shall see the work of YHWH; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.
Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of YHWH your God, which he made with you, and make you an engraved image in the form of anything which YHWH your God has forbidden you.For YHWH your God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.
It shall happen, because you listen to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that YHWH your God will keep with you the covenant and the loving kindness which he swore to your fathers:and he will love you, and bless you, and multiply you; he will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your livestock and the young of your flock, in the land which he swore to your fathers to give you.
YHWH will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you; if you shall keep the commandments of YHWH your God, and walk in his ways. All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of YHWH; and they shall be afraid of you.
All the paths of YHWH are loving kindness and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Thus says YHWH, "In an acceptable time have I answered you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage:
"But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days," says YHWH: "I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:
Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish to you an everlasting covenant.
I ask then, did God reject his inheritance he foreknew? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God did not reject his people, which he foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:
For finding fault with them, he said, "Behold, the days come," says the Lord, "that I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; for they did not continue in my covenant, and I disregarded them," says the Lord."For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days," says the Lord; "I will put my laws into their mind, I will also write them on their heart. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
I will keep my loving kindness for him forevermore. My covenant will stand firm with him.
A record of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham.Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, and Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram,and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon, and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz was the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed was the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah;and Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa;and Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah, and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah;and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amon, and Amon the father of Josiah, and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the exile to Babylon. And after the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor, and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud, and Eliud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called the Messiah. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Messiah, fourteen generations.
to show mercy towards our fathers, to remember his holy covenant, the oath which he spoke to Abraham, our father,
You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'In your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed.'
who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.
For however many are the promises of God, in him they are "Yes." Therefore also through him they are "Amen," to the glory of God through us.
For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, "The righteous will live by faith."The law is not of faith, but, "The man who does them will live by them."Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Now indeed even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service, and an earthly sanctuary.
The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place was not yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing;which is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshipper perfect;
and YHWH has declared you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments;
He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. He has not done this for just any nation. They do not know his ordinances. Praise Yah!
Behold, YHWH stood above it, and said, "I am YHWH, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed.Your seed will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed.Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you."
God said, "No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse: therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your seed;to love YHWH your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days; that you may dwell in the land which YHWH swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved. He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.
"As for me, this is my covenant with them," says YHWH. "My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed," says YHWH, "from henceforth and forever."
I, YHWH, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them;" I, YHWH, have spoken it.
But I tell you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's Kingdom."
"Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has visited and worked redemption for his people;and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David
For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself."
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on him. For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
I will establish my covenant with you: all flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood, neither will there ever again be a flood to destroy the earth."
"As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations.Neither will your name any more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
therefore I will divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sins of many, and made intercession for their transgressions.
"Thus says YHWH: 'If you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, so that there shall not be day and night in their season;then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;
For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.
Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man's covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void, or adds to it.
But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law, that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of children.
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
"This is the covenant that I will make with them: 'After those days,' says the Lord, 'I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;'" then he says,
YHWH said to Moses, "Write you these words: for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."
Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as at this day.
If his children forsake my Law, and do not walk in my ordinances;if they break my statutes, and do not keep my commandments;then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
YHWH, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness, for they are from old times.Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions. Remember me according to your loving kindness, for your goodness' sake, YHWH.
and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, "There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. This is my covenant to them, when I will take away their sins."
To him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn; for his loving kindness endures forever; And brought out Israel from among them; for his loving kindness endures forever; With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; for his loving kindness endures forever:
"Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit on him. And he will proclaim justice to the nations.
knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;
He has sent redemption to his people. He has ordained his covenant forever. His name is holy and awesome!
Yet it pleased YHWH to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring. He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YHWH shall prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see light and be satisfied. By his knowledge shall my servant, the righteous one, make many righteous, and he will bear their iniquities.
But you go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to YHWH. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.
Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,
But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.
Do not let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Thus says YHWH, "In an acceptable time have I answered you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage:saying to those who are bound, 'Come out!'; to those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves!' "They shall feed in the ways, and on all bare heights shall be their pasture.
You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
For YHWH is good. His loving kindness endures forever, his faithfulness to all generations.
Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.
For I will pour water upon the thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring:
For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."
Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.
For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
YHWH's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. YHWH's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.YHWH's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. YHWH's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of YHWH is clean, enduring forever. YHWH's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever. Amen.
I will delight myself in your commandments, because I love them.I reach out my hands for your commandments, which I love. I will meditate on your statutes.
I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
And as Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him.And it happened as he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.
I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.Once have I sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.
But it is not as though the word of God has come to nothing. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel.
"You are my witnesses," says YHWH, "With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.
He remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
Yet, looking to the promise of God, he did not waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,
YHWH will fulfill that which concerns me; your loving kindness, YHWH, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your own hands.
Bless YHWH, my soul. YHWH, my God, you are very great. You are clothed with honor and majesty. He covers himself with light as with a garment. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain. He lays the beams of his chambers in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.He makes his angels winds; his servants flames of fire.He laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved forever.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
