Think about giving – it's truly beautiful in God's eyes. When you're preparing your offering, remember it should be your best, given with a sincere heart. It should be a joyful act, knowing how much God has already blessed us with, even when we don't deserve it. He's been incredibly generous, hasn't He?
If you only give what's leftover, well, life might just mirror that back to you. Think about it – give as if you're giving to yourself. Don't do it out of obligation or because you expect something in return. True giving comes from the heart.
Don't make a big show of it either. It's not about getting praised or patted on the back. Let your giving be a quiet act between you and God. He sees what's in your heart, and He loves a cheerful giver. Remember what it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
Giving is an act of worship, a way to give back a portion of what God has already given us. And when God gives, He gives abundantly. When you offer from the heart, you're opening the door for even more blessings. The more you give, the more you receive. It's a beautiful cycle.
I have set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.And it will be when I gather the clouds on the earth, then the bow shall be seen in the clouds.And I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you, and between every living soul in all flesh. And the waters shall not again become a flood to destroy all flesh.
On that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,
And I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be [for] God to you and to your seed after you.And I will give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession and I will be to them for God.
And now if listening you will listen to My voice, and will keep My covenant, you shall become a special possession to Me above all the nations, for all the earth is Mine.And you shall become a kingdom of priests for Me, a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.
And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the ears of the people. And they said, We will do all that Jehovah has spoken, and we will hear.And Moses took the blood and sprinkled on the people, and said, Behold, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has cut with you concerning these words.
And I shall turn My face toward you and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and shall establish My covenant with you.And you shall eat very old store, and clear away the old because of the new coming out.And I will set My tabernacle in your midst, and My soul shall not loathe you;and I shall walk always in your midst, and shall be to you for God, and you, you shall be to Me for a people;
And know that Jehovah your God, He is God, the faithful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to those who love Him, and to those who keep His commands, to a thousand generations;
It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you go to possess their land. But Jehovah your God is dispossessing them from before you because of the wickedness of these nations; and in order to establish the Word which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
And pay heed to the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may act wisely in all that you do.
Behold, I have set before you today life and good and death and evil,in that I am commanding you today to love Jehovah your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands and His statutes, and His judgments, and you shall live and multiply, and Jehovah your God shall bless you in the land where you are going in, to possess it.
He has remembered His covenant forever; the Word He commanded to a thousand generations;which He cut with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac;and He made it stand to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for a perpetual covenant;
For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you; nor shall the covenant of My peace be removed, says Jehovah who has pity on you.
For I, Jehovah, love judgment, hating robbery for that which goes up in burnt offering. And I will give their work in faithfulness; and I will cut an everlasting covenant for them.
Behold, the days come, a statement of Jehovah, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,not according to the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which covenant of Mine they broke, although I was a husband to them, a statement of Jehovah.But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, a statement of Jehovah, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be to them for God, and they shall be to Me for a people.And they shall no longer each man teach his companion, and each man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah. For they shall all know Me, from the least of them even to the greatest of them, a statement of Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sins no more.
And I will cut a covenant of peace with them and give evil beasts to cease out of the land. And they shall live in the wilderness securely and sleep in the forests.
And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.And I will put My Spirit within you, and I have done that which is in My statutes for you to walk in them, and you shall keep My judgments and do them.
My covenant with him was life and peace, and I gave them to him for fear; and he feared Me, and from before My name he is put in awe.
For this is My blood of the New Covenant which concerning many is being poured out for remission of sins.
And in like manner the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup is the New Covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.
But now He has gotten a more excellent ministry, also by so much as He is a Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.For if that first covenant was faultless, place would not have been sought for a second.
And because of this He is Mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having occurred for redemption of transgressions under the first covenant, the ones being called might receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.
“This is the covenant which I will covenant to them after those days, says the Lord: Giving My Laws on their hearts, and I will write them on their minds”;“and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will not remember no longer, not ever.” MT-Jer. 31:33, 34
And Jehovah had said to Abram, Go out from your land and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.And I will make of you a great nation. And I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be a blessing.And I will bless those who bless you, and curse the one despising you. And in you all families of the earth shall be blessed.
And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;and I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you very much.
And He said, I have sworn by Myself,a statement of Jehovah, that because of this thing you have done, and have not withheld your son, your only son,that blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is on the lip of the sea. And your Seed shall possess the gate of His enemies.And in your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because you have obeyed My voice.
And Jehovah said to Moses, Write these words for yourself, for on the mouth of these words I will cut a covenant with you and with Israel.And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread and he did not drink water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
Jehovah your God cut a covenant with us in Horeb.Jehovah did not cut this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, these here today, all of us alive.
which He cut with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac;and He made it stand to Jacob for a statute, to Israel for a perpetual covenant;
O Jehovah, You are my God. I will exalt You; I will thank Your name; for You have done a wonder: counsels from afar; faithful faithfulness.
But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His wounds we ourselves are healed.
And I will cut a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant it shall be with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and I will put My sanctuary in their midst forever.
Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.For truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth should pass away, not one iota or one point shall pass away from the Law, not until all things should occur.
For the promise was not through Law to Abraham, or to his seed, for him to be the heir of the world, but through a righteousness of faith.
Brothers, I speak according to man, a covenant having been ratified, even among mankind, no one annuls or adds to it.But the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed (it does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” which is Christ). Gen. 3:15; 21:12; 22:18, Rom. 9:7; Heb. 11:18
And if you are of Christ, then you are a seed of Abraham, and heirs according to promise.
But the mercy of Jehovah is from everlasting, even to everlasting, on those who fear Him; yea, His righteousness is to the sons of sons;
For so says Jehovah to the eunuchs who keep My sabbaths and choose things I am pleased with, and take hold of My covenant:I, even I will give to them in My house and in My walls a hand and a name better than sons and than daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which shall not be cut off.
And the day shall be a memorial for you. And you shall celebrate it as a feast to Jehovah, for your generations. You shall celebrate it as a law forever.
And He said, Behold, I am cutting a covenant; I will do wonderful things before all your people which have not been done in all the earth, and among all nations. And all the people in whose midst you are shall see the work of Jehovah, for that which I am about to do with you is awesome.
Be on guard for yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of Jehovah your God, which He has cut with you, and make to yourselves a carved image, the form of anything concerning which Jehovah your God has commanded you.For Jehovah your God is a consuming fire; He is a jealous God.
And it shall be, because you hear judgments, and keep and do them, even Jehovah your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.And He will love you, and bless you, and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your land, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your oxen and the wealth of your flock, in the land which He has sworn to your fathers, to give it to you.
Jehovah shall establish you a holy people to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commands of Jehovah your God and walk in His ways.And all the peoples of the earth shall see that the name of Jehovah is called on you, and they shall fear you.
All the paths of Jehovah are mercy and truth to those keeping His covenant and His testimonies.
So says Jehovah: In a favorable time I have answered You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You. And I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people; to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolated inheritances;
But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel: After those days, a statement of Jehovah, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be to them for God, and they shall be to Me for a people.
But I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will raise up to you an everlasting covenant.
I say then, Did not God thrust away His people? Let it not be! For I also am an Israelite, out of Abraham’s seed, of the tribe of Benjamin.“God did not put away His people” whom He foreknew. Psa. 94:14 Or do you not know what the Scripture said in Elijah, how he pleaded with God against Israel, saying,
For finding fault, He said to them, “Behold, days come, says the Lord, and I will bequeath on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah a new covenant,not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day of My taking hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I cared not for them, says the Lord.Because this is the covenant which I will bequeath to the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be for God to them, and they shall be for a people to Me.
The Book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the Son of David, the son of Abraham:Abraham fathered Isaac, and Isaac fathered Jacob, and Jacob fathered Judah and his brothers.And Judah fathered Pharez and Zarah out of Tamar, and Pharez fathered Hezron, and Hezron fathered Aram,and Aram fathered Amminadab, and Amminadab fathered Nahshon, and Nahshon fathered Salmon,and Salmon fathered Boaz out of Rahab, and Boaz fathered Obed out of Ruth, and Obed fathered Jesse,and Jesse fathered David the king. And David the king fathered Solomon out of her who had been the wife of Uriah,and Solomon fathered Rehoboam, and Rehoboam fathered Abijah, and Abijah fathered Asa,and Asa fathered Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat fathered Jehoram, and Jehoram fathered Uzziah,and Uzziah fathered Jotham, and Jotham fathered Ahaz, and Ahaz fathered Hezekiah,and Hezekiah fathered Manasseh, and Manasseh fathered Amon, and Amon fathered Josiah,and Josiah fathered Jehoiachin and his brothers, at the deportation of Babylon.And after the deportation of Babylon, Jehoiachin fathered Shealtiel, and Shealtiel fathered Zerubbabel,and Zerubbabel fathered Abiud, and Abiud fathered Eliakim, and Eliakim fathered Azor,and Azor fathered Sadoc, and Sadoc fathered Achim, and Achim fathered Eliud,and Eliud fathered Eleazar, and Eleazar fathered Matthan, and Matthan fathered Jacob,and Jacob fathered Joseph, the husband tof Mary, out of whom Jesus was born, the One called Christ.So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon until the Christ, fourteen generations.
to execute mercy with our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant,the oath which He swore to our father Abraham, to give to us,
You are sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made to our fathers, saying to Abraham, “And in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Gen. 22:18
who are Israelites, whose are the adoption and the glory, and the covenants, and the Lawgiving, and the service, and the promises;whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed to the ages. Amen.
For as many promises as are of God, in Him they are Yes, and in Him are Amen, for glory to God through us.
For as many as are out of works of Law, these are under a curse. For it is writ- ten, “Accursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things having been written in the book of the Law, to do them.” Deut. 27:26And that no one is justified by Law before God is clear because, “The just one shall live by faith.” Hab. 2:4But the Law is not of faith, but, “The man doing these things shall live in them.” Lev. 18:5Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, “Accursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;” Deut. 21:23that the blessing of Abraham might be to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through the faith.
Truly, then, the first covenant also had ordinances of service, and the earthly holy place.
the Holy Spirit signifying by this that the way of the Holies has not yet been made manifest, the first tabernacle still having been standing;which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving,
And Jehovah has declared you today to be His people, a special possession as He has spoken to you, and to keep all His commands.
He declares His Word to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.He has not done so with any nation; and they have not known His judgments. Praise Jah!
And, behold, Jehovah stood above it and said, I am Jehovah the God of your father Abraham, and the God of Isaac; the land on which you are lying, I will give it to you and to your seed.And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you and in your Seed.And, behold, I will be with you and will guard you in every place in which you may go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not forsake you until I have surely done that which I have spoken to you.
And God said, Your wife Sarah truly shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. And I have established My covenant with him for a perpetual covenant with his Seed after him.
I call Heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore, choose life, that you may live, you and your seed,to love Jehovah your God, to listen to His voice, and to cling to Him. For He is your life, and the length of your days so that you may live in the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them.
But He chose the tribe of Judah, the Mount Zion which He loved.And He built His sanctuary like high places, like the earth He has founded forever.
As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah: My Spirit who is on You, and My words which I have put in Your mouth, shall not depart out of Your mouth, or out of the mouth of Your seed, or out of the mouth of Your seed’s seed, from now and till forever, says Jehovah.
And I, Jehovah, will be to them for God, and My servant David shall be a ruler among them. I, Jehovah, have spoken.
But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine after this, not until that day when I drink it new with you in the kingdom of My Father.
Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He visited and worked redemption for His people.And He raised up a Horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David;
For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all the ones unto far off, as many as the Lord our God shall call.
For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord of all is rich toward all the ones calling on Him.For every one, “whoever may call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Joel 2:32
But you are “an elect race,” “a royal priesthood,” “a holy nation,” “a people for possession,” so that “you may proclaim the excellencies” of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; LXX-Ex. 23:22; MT-Ex. 19:5, 6
And I have established My covenant with you, and all flesh shall not be cut off again by the waters of a flood; nor shall there ever again be a flood to destroy the earth.
As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.And your name no longer shall be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham. For I have made you a father of many nations.
who made the heavens and the earth, the seas and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;
Therefore I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was numbered with those transgressing; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for those transgressing.
So says Jehovah, If you can break My covenant of the day, and My covenant of the night, and there should not be day and night in their time,My covenant with My servant David may also be broken, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levitical priests, My ministers.
And I shall give to them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will remove the stony heart out of their flesh, and I will give them a heart of flesh,
And I, even I, will raise up My covenant with you. And you shall know that I am Jehovah,
Because of this, it is of faith, that it be according to grace, for the promise to be confirmed to all the seed, not to the seed of the Law only, but also to the one of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
Brothers, I speak according to man, a covenant having been ratified, even among mankind, no one annuls or adds to it.
But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, becoming of a woman, becoming under Law,that He might redeem the ones under Law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.
“This is the covenant which I will covenant to them after those days, says the Lord: Giving My Laws on their hearts, and I will write them on their minds”;
And Jehovah said to Moses, Write these words for yourself, for on the mouth of these words I will cut a covenant with you and with Israel.
And because He loved your fathers, and chose their seed after them, and brought you out with His presence, with His great power, out of Egypt,in order to dispossess nations greater and mightier than you from before you, to bring you in, to give their land for an inheritance, as it is this day;
If His sons forsake My Law, and do not walk in My judgments;if they profane My statutes and do not keep My commandments;then I will visit their transgressions with the rod, and their sins with stripes.
Remember, O Jehovah, Your compassions and Your mercies; for they are from eternity.Do not remember the sins of my youth, or my transgressions. According to Your mercy, You remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O Jehovah.
and so all Israel will be saved, even as it has been written, “The One delivering will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” Isa. 59:20, 21
A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold! How good and how pleasant is the living of brothers, even in unity.
to Him who struck Egypt in her first-born; for His mercy endures forever;and brought Israel out from among them; for His mercy endures forever;with a strong hand and a stretched out arm; for His mercy endures forever;
“Behold My Child whom I chose, My Beloved, in whom My soul has delighted! I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will declare judgment to the nations.
knowing that not with corruptible things, silver or gold, were you redeemed from your worthless way of life handed down from your fathers,but with precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot,
He sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.
But Jehovah pleased to crush Him, to make Him sick, so that if He should put His soul as a guilt offering, He shall see His seed; He shall prolong His days; and the pleasure of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, shall justify many, and He shall bear their iniquities.
But going, learn what this is, “I desire mercy and not sacrifice.” For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6
All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn back to Jehovah; and all the families of the nations shall worship before You.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.
But You, O God, are God, full of pity; and gracious, long before anger and rich in mercy and truth.
Mercy and truth will not forsake you; tie them on your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart;and you shall find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
So says Jehovah: In a favorable time I have answered You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You. And I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people; to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolated inheritances;to say to the prisoners, Go out! To those who are in darkness, Be revealed. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all barren heights.
And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. And you shall be to Me for a people, and I will be to you for God.
For Jehovah is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His faithfulness to generation and generation.
But let us not be wearied in doing good; for in its own time we shall reap, not growing faint-hearted.
For I will pour water on a thirsty one, and floods on the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring.
For His anger is only a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure in the evening, but a ringing cry of joy comes in the morning.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For each one that asks receives, and the one that seeks finds; and to the one knocking, it will be opened.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to every one believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek;for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it is written, “But the just one shall live by faith.” Hab. 2:4
Your faithfulness endures to generation and generation; You founded the earth, and it stands.
For so says the One being high and being lifted up, He who inhabits eternity, and Holy is His name: I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite one and the humble of spirit, to make live the spirit of the humble ones and to make live the heart of the contrite ones.
The Law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul. The Testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart. The command of Jehovah is pure, giving light to the eyes.The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of Jehovah are true, they are righteous together.They are more desirable than gold, even much fine gold, and sweeter than honey, even drops from the honeycomb.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Now the God of Peace, the One leading up out of the dead, the great Shepherd of the sheep, in the blood of the everlasting covenant, our Lord Jesus,perfect you in every good work, in order to do His will, doing in you that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
And I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I have loved.And I will lift up my palms to Your precepts that I love; and I will meditate on Your statutes.
I will worship toward Your holy temple, and give thanks to Your name for Your mercy, and for Your truth; for You have magnified Your Word above all Your name.
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not gaze about, for I am your God; I will make you strong; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.
And passing from there, Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. And rising up, he followed Him.And it happened as He reclined in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, these were reclining with Jesus and His disciples.
I will not profane My covenant, nor change what goes from My lips.Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.
It is not, however, that God’s Word has failed. For not all the ones of Israel, these are of Israel,
You are My witnesses, a statement of Jehovah; and My servant whom I have elected; that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me no God was formed; and after Me not shall be.
and did not hesitate by unbelief at the promise of God, but was empowered by faith, giving glory to God,
Jehovah will perfect His work in me; O Jehovah, Your mercy endures forever; You will not forsake the works of Your hands.
Bless Jehovah, O my soul! O Jehovah my God, You are very great; You have put on honor and majesty,covering Yourself with light like a cloak, and stretching out the heavens like a curtain;who lays beams in the waters of His upper rooms; setting thick clouds as His chariots; walking on the wings of the wind.He makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire.He founded the earth on its foundations; it shall not be shaken forever and ever.
But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,meekness, self-control. Against such things there is not a law.
