Think about giving – it's truly beautiful in God's eyes. When you're preparing your offering, remember it should be your best, given with a sincere heart. It should be a joyful act, knowing how much God has already blessed us with, even when we don't deserve it. He's been incredibly generous, hasn't He?
If you only give what's leftover, well, life might just mirror that back to you. Think about it – give as if you're giving to yourself. Don't do it out of obligation or because you expect something in return. True giving comes from the heart.
Don't make a big show of it either. It's not about getting praised or patted on the back. Let your giving be a quiet act between you and God. He sees what's in your heart, and He loves a cheerful giver. Remember what it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
Giving is an act of worship, a way to give back a portion of what God has already given us. And when God gives, He gives abundantly. When you offer from the heart, you're opening the door for even more blessings. The more you give, the more you receive. It's a beautiful cycle.
I am putting my rainbow in the cloud — it will be there as a sign of the covenant between myself and the earth.Whenever I bring clouds over the earth, and the rainbow is seen in the cloud;I will remember my covenant which is between myself and you and every living creature of any kind; and the water will never again become a flood to destroy all living beings.
That day Adonai made a covenant with Avram: “I have given this land to your descendants — from the Vadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River —
“I am establishing my covenant between me and you, along with your descendants after you, generation after generation, as an everlasting covenant, to be God for you and for your descendants after you.I will give you and your descendants after you the land in which you are now foreigners, all the land of Kena‘an, as a permanent possession; and I will be their God.”
Now if you will pay careful attention to what I say and keep my covenant, then you will be my own treasure from among all the peoples, for all the earth is mine;and you will be a kingdom of cohanim for me, a nation set apart.’ These are the words you are to speak to the people of Isra’el.” (v)
Then he took the book of the covenant and read it aloud, so that the people could hear; and they responded, “Everything that Adonai has spoken, we will do and obey.”Moshe took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant which Adonai has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
From this you can know that Adonai your God is indeed God, the faithful God, who keeps his covenant and extends grace to those who love him and observe his mitzvot, to a thousand generations.
It is not because of your righteousness, or because your heart is so upright, that you go in to take possession of their land; but to punish the wickedness of these nations that Adonai your God is driving them out ahead of you, and also to confirm the word which Adonai swore to your ancestors, Avraham, Yitz’chak and Ya‘akov.
“Today you are standing, all of you, before Adonai your God — your heads, your tribes, your leaders and your officers — all the men of Isra’el,
“Look! I am presenting you today with, on the one hand, life and good; and on the other, death and evil —in that I am ordering you today to love Adonai your God, to follow his ways, and to obey his mitzvot, regulations and rulings ; for if you do, you will live and increase your numbers; and Adonai your God will bless you in the land you are entering in order to take possession of it.
For the mountains may leave and the hills be removed, but my grace will never leave you, and my covenant of peace will not be removed,” says Adonai, who has compassion on you.
“For I, Adonai, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offerings. So I will be faithful to reward them and make an eternal covenant with them.”
It will not be like the covenant I made with their fathers on the day I took them by their hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt; because they, for their part, violated my covenant, even though I, for my part, was a husband to them,” says Adonai.“For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Isra’el after those days,” says Adonai: “I will put my Torah within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people.No longer will any of them teach his fellow community member or his brother, ‘Know Adonai’; for all will know me, from the least of them to the greatest; because I will forgive their wickednesses and remember their sins no more.”This is what Adonai says, who gives the sun as light for the day, who ordained the laws for the moon and stars to provide light for the night, who stirs up the sea until its waves roar — Adonai-Tzva’ot is his name:
I will make a covenant of peace with them; I will rid the land of wild animals; and they will live securely in the desert and sleep in the forests.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit inside you; I will take the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.I will put my Spirit inside you and cause you to live by my laws, respect my rulings and obey them.
“My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave him these things. It was also one of fear, and he feared me; he was in awe of my name.
For this is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf of many, so that they may have their sins forgiven.
He did the same with the cup after the meal, saying, “This cup is the New Covenant, ratified by my blood, which is being poured out for you.
But now the work Yeshua has been given to do is far superior to theirs, just as the covenant he mediates is better. For this covenant has been given as Torah on the basis of better promises.Indeed, if the first covenant had not given ground for faultfinding, there would have been no need for a second one.
It is because of this death that he is mediator of a new covenant [or will]. Because a death has occurred which sets people free from the transgressions committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.
“ ‘This is the covenant which I will make with them after those days,’ says Adonai: ‘I will put my Torah on their hearts, and write it on their minds . . . ,’ ”he then adds, “ ‘And their sins and their wickednesses I will remember no more.’ ”
Now Adonai said to Avram, “Get yourself out of your country, away from your kinsmen and away from your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you.But there was a famine in the land, so Avram went down into Egypt to stay there, because the famine in the land was severe.When he came close to Egypt and was about to enter, he said to Sarai his wife, “Here now, I know that you are a good-looking woman;so that when the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife,’ and kill me but keep you alive.Please say that you are my sister, so that it will go well with me for your sake, and so that I will stay alive because of you.” (ii)When Avram entered Egypt, the Egyptians did notice that the woman was very beautiful.Pharaoh’s princes saw her and commended her to Pharaoh, so the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.He treated Avram well for her sake, giving him sheep, cattle, male and female donkeys, male and female slaves, and camels.But Adonai inflicted great plagues on Pharaoh and his household because of Sarai Avram’s wife.Pharaoh called Avram and said, “What is this that you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her to be my own wife? Now therefore, here is your wife! Take her, and go away!”I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing.So Pharaoh gave orders concerning him to his men, and they sent him on his way with his wife and everything he had.I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
When Avram was 99 years old Adonai appeared to Avram and said to him, “I am El Shaddai [God Almighty]. Walk in my presence and be pure-hearted.Here is my covenant, which you are to keep, between me and you, along with your descendants after you: every male among you is to be circumcised.You are to be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; this will be the sign of the covenant between me and you.Generation after generation, every male among you who is eight days old is to be circumcised, including slaves born within your household and those bought from a foreigner not descended from you.The slave born in your house and the person bought with your money must be circumcised; thus my covenant will be in your flesh as an everlasting covenant.Any uncircumcised male who will not let himself be circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin — that person will be cut off from his people, because he has broken my covenant.”God said to Avraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are not to call her Sarai [mockery]; her name is to be Sarah [princess].I will bless her; moreover, I will give you a son by her. Truly I will bless her: she will be a mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”At this Avraham fell on his face and laughed — he thought to himself, “Will a child be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah give birth at ninety?”Avraham said to God, “If only Yishma‘el could live in your presence!”God answered, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you are to call him Yitz’chak [laughter]. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.I will make my covenant between me and you, and I will increase your numbers greatly.”
He said, “I have sworn by myself — says Adonai — that because you have done this, because you haven’t withheld your son, your only son,I will most certainly bless you; and I will most certainly increase your descendants to as many as there are stars in the sky or grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the cities of their enemies,and by your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed — because you obeyed my order.”
Adonai said to Moshe, “Write these words down, because they are the terms of the covenant I have made with you and with Isra’el.”Moshe was there with Adonai forty days and forty nights, during which time he neither ate food nor drank water. [Adonai] wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Words.
Adonai our God made a covenant with us at Horev.When you heard the voice coming out of the darkness, as the mountain blazed with fire, you came to me, all the heads of your tribes and your leaders,and said, ‘Here, Adonai our God has shown us his glory and his greatness! We have heard his voice coming from the fire, and we have seen today that God does speak with human beings, and they stay alive.But why should we keep risking death? This great fire will consume us! If we hear the voice of Adonai our God any more, we will die!For who is there of all humanity that has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the fire, as we have, and stayed alive?You, go near; and hear everything Adonai our God says. Then you will tell us everything Adonai our God says to you; and we will listen to it and do it.’“Adonai heard what you were saying when you spoke to me, and Adonai said to me, ‘I have heard what this people has said when speaking to you, and everything they have said is good.Oh, how I wish their hearts would stay like this always, that they would fear me and obey all my mitzvot; so that it would go well with them and their children forever.Go, tell them to return to their tents.But you, stand here by me; and I will tell you all the mitzvot, laws and rulings which you are to teach them, so that they can obey them in the land I am giving them as their possession.’“Therefore you are to be careful to do as Adonai your God has ordered you; you are not to deviate either to the right or the left.Adonai did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us — with us, who are all of us here alive today.
Adonai, you are my God. I exalt you, I praise your name. For you have accomplished marvels, [fulfilled] ancient plans faithfully and truly.
But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises* we are healed.
I will make a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant. I will give to them, increase their numbers, and set my sanctuary among them forever.
“Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete.Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened.
For the promise to Avraham and his seed that he would inherit the world did not come through legalism but through the righteousness that trust produces.
Brothers, let me make an analogy from everyday life: when someone swears an oath, no one else can set it aside or add to it.Now the promises were made to Avraham and to his seed. It doesn’t say, “and to seeds,” as if to many; on the contrary, it speaks of one — “and to your seed” — and this “one” is the Messiah.
Also, if you belong to the Messiah, you are seed of Avraham and heirs according to the promise.
But the mercy of Adonai on those who fear him is from eternity past to eternity future, and his righteousness extends to his children’s children,
For here is what Adonai says: “As for the eunuchs who keep my Shabbats, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant:in my house, within my walls, I will give them power and a name greater than sons and daughters; I will give him an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
“‘This will be a day for you to remember and celebrate as a festival to Adonai; from generation to generation you are to celebrate it by a perpetual regulation.
He said, “Here, I am making a covenant; in front of all your people I will do wonders such as have not been created anywhere on earth or in any nation. All the people around you will see the work of Adonai. What I am going to do through you will be awesome!
Watch out for yourselves, so that you won’t forget the covenant of Adonai your God, which he made with you, and make yourself a carved image, a representation of anything forbidden to you by Adonai your God.For Adonai your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
“Because you are listening to these rulings, keeping and obeying them, Adonai your God will keep with you the covenant and mercy that he swore to your ancestors.He will love you, bless you and increase your numbers; he will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground — your grain, wine, olive oil and the young of your cattle and sheep — in the land he swore to your ancestors that he would give you.
Here is what Adonai says: “At the time when I choose, I will answer you; on the day of salvation, I will help you. I have preserved you, and I have appointed you to be the covenant for a people, to restore the land and distribute again its ruined inheritances to their owners,
No longer will any of them teach his fellow community member or his brother, ‘Know Adonai’; for all will know me, from the least of them to the greatest; because I will forgive their wickednesses and remember their sins no more.”
Nevertheless, I will remember the covenant I made with you when you were a girl and will establish an everlasting covenant with you.
“In that case, I say, isn’t it that God has repudiated his people?” Heaven forbid! For I myself am a son of Isra’el, from the seed of Avraham, of the tribe of Binyamin.Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see, with their backs bent continually.”“In that case, I say, isn’t it that they have stumbled with the result that they have permanently fallen away?” Heaven forbid! Quite the contrary, it is by means of their stumbling that the deliverance has come to the Gentiles, in order to provoke them to jealousy.Moreover, if their stumbling is bringing riches to the world — that is, if Isra’el’s being placed temporarily in a condition less favored than that of the Gentiles is bringing riches to the latter — how much greater riches will Isra’el in its fullness bring them!However, to those of you who are Gentiles I say this: since I myself am an emissary sent to the Gentiles, I make known the importance of my workin the hope that somehow I may provoke some of my own people to jealousy and save some of them!For if their casting Yeshua aside means reconciliation for the world, what will their accepting him mean? It will be life from the dead!Now if the hallah offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole loaf. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.But if some of the branches were broken off, and you — a wild olive — were grafted in among them and have become equal sharers in the rich root of the olive tree,then don’t boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you do boast, remember that you are not supporting the root, the root is supporting you.So you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.”God has not repudiated his people, whom he chose in advance. Or don’t you know what the Tanakh says about Eliyahu? He pleads with God against Isra’el,

“You are the sons of the prophets; and you are included in the covenant which God made with our fathers when he said to Avraham, ‘By your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed.’
the people of Isra’el! They were made God’s children, the Sh’khinah has been with them, the covenants are theirs, likewise the giving of the Torah, the Temple service and the promises;the Patriarchs are theirs; and from them, as far as his physical descent is concerned, came the Messiah, who is over all. Praised be Adonai for ever! Amen.
For however many promises God has made, they all find their “Yes” in connection with him; that is why it is through him that we say the “Amen” when we give glory to God.
For everyone who depends on legalistic observance of Torah commands lives under a curse, since it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the Scroll of the Torah.”Now it is evident that no one comes to be declared righteous by God through legalism, since “The person who is righteous will attain life by trusting and being faithful.”Furthermore, legalism is not based on trusting and being faithful, but on [a misuse of] the text that says, “Anyone who does these things will attain life through them.”The Messiah redeemed us from the curse pronounced in the Torah by becoming cursed on our behalf; for the Tanakh says, “Everyone who hangs from a stake comes under a curse.”Yeshua the Messiah did this so that in union with him the Gentiles might receive the blessing announced to Avraham, so that through trusting and being faithful, we might receive what was promised, namely, the Spirit.
By this arrangement, the Ruach HaKodesh showed that so long as the first Tent had standing, the way into the Holiest Place was still closed.This symbolizes the present age and indicates that the conscience of the person performing the service cannot be brought to the goal by the gifts and sacrifices he offers.
In turn Adonai is agreeing today that you are his own unique treasure, as he promised you; that you are to observe all his mitzvot;
He reveals his words to Ya‘akov, his laws and rulings to Isra’el.Adonai is rebuilding Yerushalayim, gathering the dispersed of Isra’el.He has not done this for other nations; they do not know his rulings. Halleluyah!
Then suddenly Adonai was standing there next to him; and he said, “I am Adonai, the God of Avraham your [grand]father and the God of Yitz’chak. The land on which you are lying I will give to you and to your descendants.Your descendants will be as numerous as the grains of dust on the earth. You will expand to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. By you and your descendants all the families of the earth will be blessed.Look, I am with you. I will guard you wherever you go, and I will bring you back into this land, because I won’t leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
God answered, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you are to call him Yitz’chak [laughter]. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
“I call on heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have presented you with life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore, choose life, so that you will live, you and your descendants,and you will return to Adonai your God and pay attention to what he has said, which will be exactly what I am ordering you to do today — you and your children, with all your heart and all your being.loving Adonai your God, paying attention to what he says and clinging to him — for that is the purpose of your life! he chose the tribe of Y’hudah, Mount Tziyon, which he loved.He built his sanctuary like the heights; like the earth, he made it to last forever.
“And as for me,” says Adonai, “this is my covenant with them: my Spirit, who rests on you, and my words which I put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, now or ever,” says Adonai.
I, Adonai, will be their God; and my servant David will be prince among them. I, Adonai, have spoken.
I tell you, I will not drink this ‘fruit of the vine’ again until the day I drink new wine with you in my Father’s Kingdom.”
“Praised be Adonai, the God of Isra’el, because he has visited and made a ransom to liberate his peopleby raising up for us a mighty Deliverer who is a descendant of his servant David.
For the promise is for you, for your children, and for those far away — as many as Adonai our God may call!”
That means that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile — Adonai is the same for everyone, rich toward everyone who calls on him,since everyone who calls on the name of Adonai will be delivered.
But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
I will establish my covenant with you that never again will all living beings be destroyed by the waters of a flood, and there will never again be a flood to destroy the earth.”
“As for me, this is my covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations.Your name will no longer be Avram [exalted father], but your name will be Avraham [father of many], because I have made you the father of many nations.
Therefore I will assign him a share with the great, he will divide the spoil with the mighty, for having exposed himself to death and being counted among the sinners, while actually bearing the sin of many and interceding for the offenders.”
“Here is what Adonai says: ‘If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that daytime and nighttime no longer come when they are supposed to,then my covenant with my servant David also can be broken, so that he will not have a descendant to reign from his throne or L’vi’im who are cohanim to minister to me.
and I will give them unity of heart. “I will put a new spirit among you.” I will remove from their bodies the hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh;
The reason the promise is based on trusting is so that it may come as God’s free gift, a promise that can be relied on by all the seed, not only those who live within the framework of the Torah, but also those with the kind of trust Avraham had — Avraham avinu for all of us.

but when the appointed time arrived, God sent forth his Son. He was born from a woman, born into a culture in which legalistic perversion of the Torah was the norm,so that he might redeem those in subjection to this legalism and thus enable us to be made God’s sons.
“Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete.
“ ‘This is the covenant which I will make with them after those days,’ says Adonai: ‘I will put my Torah on their hearts, and write it on their minds . . . ,’ ”
Adonai said to Moshe, “Write these words down, because they are the terms of the covenant I have made with you and with Isra’el.”
Because he loved your ancestors, chose their descendants after them and brought you out of Egypt with his presence and great power,in order to drive out ahead of you nations greater and stronger than you, so that he could bring you in and give you their land as an inheritance, as is the case today;
I will establish his dynasty forever, and his throne as long as the heavens last.“If his descendants abandon my Torah and fail to live by my rulings,if they profane my regulations and don’t obey my mitzvot,
Remember your compassion and grace, Adonai; for these are ages old.Don’t remember my youthful sins or transgressions; but remember me according to your grace for the sake of your goodness, Adonai.
and that it is in this way that all Isra’el will be saved. As the Tanakh says, “Out of Tziyon will come the Redeemer; he will turn away ungodliness from Ya‘akovand this will be my covenant with them, . . . when I take away their sins.”

to him who struck down Egypt’s firstborn, for his grace continues forever;and brought Isra’el out from among them, for his grace continues forever;with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, for his grace continues forever;
“Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will announce justice to the Gentiles.
You should be aware that the ransom paid to free you from the worthless way of life which your fathers passed on to you did not consist of anything perishable like silver or gold;on the contrary, it was the costly bloody sacrificial death of the Messiah, as of a lamb without defect or spot.
He sent redemption to his people and decreed that his covenant should last forever. His name is holy and fearsome —
yet it pleased Adonai to crush him with illness, to see if he would present himself as a guilt offering. If he does, he will see his offspring; and he will prolong his days; and at his hand Adonai’s desire will be accomplished.After this ordeal, he will see satisfaction. “By his knowing [pain and sacrifice], my righteous servant makes many righteous; it is for their sins that he suffers.
As for you, go and learn what this means: ‘I want compassion rather than animal-sacrifices.’ For I didn’t come to call the ‘righteous,’ but sinners!”
The poor will eat and be satisfied; those who seek Adonai will praise him; Your hearts will enjoy life forever.
So, since we have come to be considered righteous by God because of our trust, let us continue to have shalom with God through our Lord, Yeshua the Messiah.For if we were reconciled with God through his Son’s death when we were enemies, how much more will we be delivered by his life, now that we are reconciled!And not only will we be delivered in the future, but we are boasting about God right now, because he has acted through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, through whom we have already received that reconciliation.Here is how it works: it was through one individual that sin entered the world, and through sin, death; and in this way death passed through to the whole human race, inasmuch as everyone sinned.Sin was indeed present in the world before Torah was given, but sin is not counted as such when there is no Torah.Nevertheless death ruled from Adam until Moshe, even over those whose sinning was not exactly like Adam’s violation of a direct command. In this, Adam prefigured the one who was to come.But the free gift is not like the offence. For if, because of one man’s offence, many died, then how much more has God’s grace, that is, the gracious gift of one man, Yeshua the Messiah, overflowed to many!No, the free gift is not like what resulted from one man’s sinning; for from one sinner came judgment that brought condemnation; but the free gift came after many offences and brought acquittal.For if, because of the offence of one man, death ruled through that one man; how much more will those receiving the overflowing grace, that is, the gift of being considered righteous, rule in life through the one man Yeshua the Messiah!In other words, just as it was through one offence that all people came under condemnation, so also it is through one righteous act that all people come to be considered righteous.For just as through the disobedience of the one man, many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the other man, many will be made righteous.Also through him and on the ground of our trust, we have gained access to this grace in which we stand; so let us boast about the hope of experiencing God’s glory.
But you, Adonai, are a merciful, compassionate God, slow to anger and rich in grace and truth.
Do not let grace and truth leave you — bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.Don’t quarrel with someone for no reason, if he has done you no harm.Don’t envy a man of violence, don’t choose any of his ways;for the perverse is an abomination to Adonai, but he shares his secret counsel with the upright.Adonai’s curse is in the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.The scornful he scorns, but gives grace to the humble.The wise win honor, but fools win shame.Then you will win favor and esteem in the sight of God and of people.
Here is what Adonai says: “At the time when I choose, I will answer you; on the day of salvation, I will help you. I have preserved you, and I have appointed you to be the covenant for a people, to restore the land and distribute again its ruined inheritances to their owners,to say to the prisoners, ‘Come out!’ to those in darkness, ‘Show yourselves!’ They will feed along the paths, and all the high hills will be their pastures.
You will live in the land I gave to your ancestors. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
For Adonai is good, his grace continues forever, and his faithfulness lasts through all generations.
So let us not grow weary of doing what is good; for if we don’t give up, we will in due time reap the harvest.
For I will pour water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit on your descendants, my blessing on your offspring.
“Keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.For everyone who keeps asking receives; he who keeps seeking finds; and to him who keeps knocking, the door will be opened.
For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God’s powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile.For in it is revealed how God makes people righteous in his sight; and from beginning to end it is through trust — as the Tanakh puts it, “But the person who is righteous will live his life by trust.”
For thus says the High, Exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy: “I live in the high and holy place but also with the broken and humble, in order to revive the spirit of the humble and revive the hearts of the broken ones.
But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
The God of shalom brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Yeshua, by the blood of an eternal covenant.May that God equip you with every good thing you need to do his will; and may he do in us whatever pleases him, through Yeshua the Messiah. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
I will delight myself in your mitzvot, which I have loved.I will lift my hands to your mitzvot, which I love; and I will meditate on your laws.
I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your grace and truth; for you have made your word [even] greater than the whole of your reputation.
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with my victorious right hand.
But I won’t withdraw my grace from him or be false to my faithfulness.I will not profane my covenant or change what my lips have spoken.
But the present condition of Isra’el does not mean that the Word of God has failed. For not everyone from Isra’el is truly part of Isra’el;
“You are my witnesses,” says Adonai, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you can know and trust me and understand that I am he — no god was produced before me, nor will any be after me.
He did not by lack of trust decide against God’s promises. On the contrary, by trust he was given power as he gave glory to God,
Adonai will fulfill his purpose for me. Your grace, Adonai, continues forever. Don’t abandon the work of your hands!
Bless Adonai, my soul! Adonai, my God, you are very great; you are clothed with glory and majesty,You make springs gush forth in the vadis; they flow between the hills,supplying water to all the wild animals; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.On their banks the birds of the air build their nests; among the branches they sing.You water the mountains from your palace; the earth is satisfied with how you provide —You grow grass for the cattle; and for people you grow the plants they need to bring forth bread from the earth,wine that gladdens the human heart, oil to make faces glow, and food to sustain their strength.Adonai’s trees are satisfied — the cedars of the L’vanon, which he has planted.In them sparrows build their nests, while storks live in the fir trees.For the wild goats there are the high mountains, while the coneys find refuge in the rocks.You made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to set.wrapped in light as with a robe. You spread out the heavens like a curtain,You bring darkness, and it is night, the time when all forest animals prowl.The young lions roar after their prey and seek their food from God.The sun rises, they slink away and lie down to rest in their dens;while people go out to their work, laboring on till evening.What variety there is in your works, Adonai! How many [of them there are]! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creations.Look at the sea, so great, so wide! It teems with countless creatures, living beings, both large and small.The ships are there, sailing to and fro; Livyatan, which you formed to play there.All of them look to you to give them their food when they need it.When you give it to them, they gather it; when you open your hand, they are well satisfied.If you hide your face, they vanish; if you hold back their breath, they perish and return to their dust.you laid the beams of your palace on the water. You make the clouds your chariot, you ride on the wings of the wind.If you send out your breath, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.May the glory of Adonai last forever! May Adonai rejoice in his works!When he looks at the earth, it trembles; when he touches the mountains, they pour out smoke.I will sing to Adonai as long as I live, sing praise to my God all my life.May my musings be pleasing to him; I will rejoice in Adonai.May sinners vanish from the earth and the wicked be no more! Bless Adonai, my soul! Halleluyah!You make winds your messengers, fiery flames your servants.You fixed the earth on its foundations, never to be moved.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,humility, self control. Nothing in the Torah stands against such things.
