VERSES FOR OFFERINGS

Think about giving – it's truly beautiful in God's eyes. When you're preparing your offering, remember it should be your best, given with a sincere heart. It should be a joyful act, knowing how much God has already blessed us with, even when we don't deserve it. He's been incredibly generous, hasn't He?

If you only give what's leftover, well, life might just mirror that back to you. Think about it – give as if you're giving to yourself. Don't do it out of obligation or because you expect something in return. True giving comes from the heart.

Don't make a big show of it either. It's not about getting praised or patted on the back. Let your giving be a quiet act between you and God. He sees what's in your heart, and He loves a cheerful giver. Remember what it says in 2 Corinthians 9:7: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Giving is an act of worship, a way to give back a portion of what God has already given us. And when God gives, He gives abundantly. When you offer from the heart, you're opening the door for even more blessings. The more you give, the more you receive. It's a beautiful cycle.

I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud.And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

In that day LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, To thy seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to thee and to thy seed after thee.And I will give to thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojourning, all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be my own possession from among all peoples, for all the earth is mine,and ye shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shall speak to the sons of Israel.

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people. And they said, All that LORD has spoken will we do, and be obedient.And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant that LORD has made with you concerning all these words.

And I will have respect to you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.And ye shall eat old storage long kept, and ye shall bring forth the old because of the new.And I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you.And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

Know therefore that LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,

For I, LORD, love justice. I hate robbery with iniquity. And I will give them their recompense in truth. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.LORD did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

But he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Think not that I came to abolish the law or the prophets. I came not to abolish, but to fulfill.For truly I say to you, until the heaven and the earth pass away, one iota or one tittle will, no, not pass away from the law, until all things come to pass.

For the promise to Abraham or to his seed, for him to be heir of the world, was not through law, but through a righteousness of faith.

Brothers (I speak according to a man), in the same way of a man, no man annuls or adds to a contract that has been ratified.Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, And to the seeds, as of many, but as of one, And to thy seed, who is Christ.

And if ye are Christ's, then ye are Abraham's seed and heirs according to promise.

Be surety for thy servant for good. Let not the proud oppress me.

But the loving kindness of LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him, and his righteousness to son's sons,

For thus says LORD of the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:To them I will give in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

And this day shall be to you for a memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast to LORD; throughout your generations ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.

And he said, Behold, I make a covenant. Before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation, and all the people among which thou are shall see the work of LORD, for it is an aw

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!

What then will we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

He has sent redemption to his people. He has commanded his covenant forever. Holy and reverend is his name.

Yet it pleased LORD to bruise him. He has put him to grief. When thou shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed. He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of LORD shall prosper in his hand.He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied. By the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many, and he shall bear their iniquities.

But after going, learn what this means, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners for repentance.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to LORD, and all the kinfolk of the nations shall worship before thee.

Therefore having been made righteous from faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom also we have access by faith for this grace in which we stand, and we take pride in hope of the glory of God.

But thou, O LORD, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

Let not kindness and truth forsake thee. Bind them about thy neck, write them upon the tablet of thy heart,so thou shall find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

For LORD is good. His loving kindness [is] forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is truth.

And let us not be weary doing good, for in our own time we will reap, not desponding.

He has made his wonderful works to be remembered. LORD is gracious and merciful.

For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and streams upon the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.

For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy [is] in the morning.

Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and ye will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you.For every man who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

For I am not ashamed of the good-news of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to every man who believes, both to the Jew first, and to the Greek.For the righteousness of God is revealed in it from faith for faith, just as it is written, And the righteous man will live from faith.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep by the blood of an eternal covenant--our Lord Jesus--may he make you fully qualified in every good work in order to do his will, doing in you what is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory into the ages of the ages. Truly.

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.I will also lift up my hands to thy commandments, which I have loved, and I will meditate on thy statutes.

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and give thanks to thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth. For thou have magnified thy word above all thy name.

Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee. Yea, I will help thee. Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Come, and see the works of God, awesome in actions toward the sons of men.

And passing forth from there, Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And he says to him, Follow me. And after rising, he followed him.And it came to pass while he relaxed in the house, and behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, they were sitting with Jesus and his disciples.

I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have observed thy law.

But it is not as that the word of God has failed. For all those from Israel, these are not Israel,

Ye are my witnesses, says LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen, that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after me.

And he remembered his covenant for them, and relented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

And he did not waver in unbelief at the promise of God, but became strong in faith, giving glory to God,

LORD will perfect that which concerns me. Thy loving kindness, O LORD, [is] forever. Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Bless LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou are very great. Thou are clothed with honor and majesty,who covers thyself with light as with a garment, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters, who makes the clouds his chariot, who walks upon the wings of the wind,who makes his [heavenly] agents spirits, his ministers a flame of fire,who laid the foundations of the earth that it should not be moved forever.
