Think about this: Christ loved us so much that he gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering to God.1 He made the ultimate sacrifice for you on the cross, loving you to death and beyond. Even as time marches on, His love stays constant.
It's so important for you to grasp that the biggest sacrifice has already been made. But now, you get to be a pleasing offering to God, too. Let your service, your honor, and your giving be a delight to your Heavenly Father. Know that Jesus has given you everything, and anything you offer pales in comparison to His love.
Giving to God, supporting His work, it's an expression of love. Don't see it as a burden or an obligation, but as a response to God's love and Jesus' sacrifice. It's a way of saying "thank you" for everything Heaven has poured into your life.
1Ephesians 5:2
also He adds, "their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more."Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as He taught in the temple. And no man laid hands upon Him, for His hour had not yet come.
Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now with this, says Jehovah of Hosts, to see if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you, and pour out a blessing for you, until there is not enough room.
And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest. And offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.
His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.And he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew that you were a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter.
Each one, as he purposes in his heart, let him give; not of grief, or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.
And sitting down opposite the treasury, Jesus watched how the people threw copper coins into the treasury. And many rich ones threw in much.And a certain poor widow came, and she threw in two lepta, which is a kodrantes.And He called His disciples and said to them, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has cast in more than all those who have cast into the treasury.For all cast in from their abundance. But she, out of her poverty, has cast in all that she had, all her livelihood.
Honor Jehovah with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase;and your barns shall be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst with new wine.
And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah's. It is holy to Jehovah.
but I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will fulfill that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Jehovah!
who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
but each with his gift in his hand, according to the blessing of Jehovah your God, which He has given you.
Give, and it shall be given to you, good measure pressed down and shaken together and running over, they shall give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure, it shall be measured to you again.
For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what one does not have.
Take from among you an offering to Jehovah. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of Jehovah: gold, and silver, and bronze,
But who am I, and who my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? For all things are from You, and we have given to You that which is Yours.
I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.
But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed that the field brings forth year by year.And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to place His name there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first-born of your herds and of your flocks, so that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God always.

Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring Me an offering. You shall take an offering from every man that gives it willingly with his heart.

Every thing Jehovah pleased, He did in the heavens and in earth, and in the seas and all deep places.He causes the vapors to rise from the end of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings wind out of His storehouses.
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that in everything, always having all self-sufficiency, you may abound to every good work;
But you shall remember Jehovah your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, so that He may confirm His covenant which He has sworn to your fathers, as it is today.
I know also, my God, that You try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these things. And now I have seen with joy Your people who are present here to offer willingly to You.
Sell what you have and give alms. Make for yourselves purses which do not become old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where no thief comes nor moth corrupts.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Therefore when you do your merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. And this stone which I have set for a pillar shall be God's house. And of all that You shall give me, I will surely give the tenth to You.
For it has pleased those of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints in Jerusalem.
And Moses commanded, and they caused it to be known throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. And the people were kept from bringing.For the stuff which they had was enough for all the work to make it, and too much.
Do you not know that those who minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? And those attending the altar are partakers with the altar.Even so, the Lord ordained those announcing the gospel to live from the gospel.

Give to Jehovah, O families of the people; give to Jehovah glory and strength.Give to Jehovah the glory due to His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts.
He who goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
By Him, then, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing His name.

You shall surely give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing Jehovah your God shall bless you in all your works, and in all that you put your hand to.

And the people rejoiced, because they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to Jehovah. And David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
or he who exhorts, in the encouragement; or he who shares, in simplicity; or he who takes the lead, in diligence; or he who shows mercy, in cheerfulness.
Give to him who asks of you, and you shall not turn away from him who would borrow from you.
who carries out judgment for the mistreated; who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah lets the prisoners loose;
And when I come, whomever you shall approve by your letters, I will send them to bring your gift to Jerusalem.And if it is suitable for me to go also, they shall go with me.
He who has pity upon the poor lends to Jehovah, and He will reward his dealing to him.
you being enriched in everything to all generosity, which works out thanksgiving to God through us.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the service of righteousness shall be quietness and hope forever.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him?
Cast your burden on Jehovah, and He will keep you; He will never allow the righteous to waver.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.
He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the dunghill,in order to make him sit with nobles, with the nobles of his people.
Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
