Think about this: Christ loved us so much that he gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering to God.1 He made the ultimate sacrifice for you on the cross, loving you to death and beyond. Even as time marches on, His love stays constant.
It's so important for you to grasp that the biggest sacrifice has already been made. But now, you get to be a pleasing offering to God, too. Let your service, your honor, and your giving be a delight to your Heavenly Father. Know that Jesus has given you everything, and anything you offer pales in comparison to His love.
Giving to God, supporting His work, it's an expression of love. Don't see it as a burden or an obligation, but as a response to God's love and Jesus' sacrifice. It's a way of saying "thank you" for everything Heaven has poured into your life.
1Ephesians 5:2
“and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will not remember no longer, not ever.” MT-Jer. 31:33, 34But where remission of these is, there is no longer offering concerning sins.
Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, teaching in the temple; and no one seized Him, for His hour had not yet come.
Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now in this, says Jehovah of Hosts, whether I will not open the windows of the heavens for you and pour out a blessing until there is no sufficiency.
And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.
and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a fragrance of a sweet smell.
His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful over a few things, I will set you over many. Enter into the joy of your lord.And the one having received the one talent also coming up, he said, Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter;
Each one as he purposes in his heart, not out of grief or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. Prov. 22:8
And sitting down opposite the treasury, Jesus was watching how the crowd is thowing copper coins into the treasury. And many rich ones threw in much.And coming, one poor widow threw in two lepta (which is a kodrantes).And having called His disciples near, He said to them, Truly I say to you that this poor widow has thrown in more than all of those casting into the treasury.For all threw in out of that abounding to them, but she out of her poverty threw in all, as much as she had, her whole livelihood.
Honor Jehovah with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase,and your storerooms shall be filled with plenty, and your wine-vats shall burst with new wine.
And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, of the fruit of the trees,, it is for Jehovah; it is most holy to Jehovah.
but I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving; I will fulfill that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Jehovah!
who gave Himself on our behalf, “that He might redeem us from all lawlessness” “and purify” “for Himself a people for Himself for possession,” zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2
He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but gave Him over on behalf of us all, how will He not freely give all things to us with Him?
but each with his gift of his hand, accorcding to the blessing of Jehovah your God which He has given you.
Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over, they will give into your bosom. For the same measure which you measure, it will be measured back to you.
For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
Take from among you an offering to Jehovah. Everyone willing of heart shall bring it, the offering of Jehovah: gold and silver and bronze,
yea, for who am I, and who my people, that we should be able to offer willingly in this way? For all is of You, and we have given to You out of Your hand;
Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.
But do not be forgetful of doing good and sharing, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.
Tithing you shall tithe all the increase of your seed that the field brings out year by year.And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God all your days.
On the first of the sabbaths, let each one of you put by himself, storing up whatever he is prospered, that there not be collections then when I come.
And he blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of Heaven and earth;and blessed be the most high God, who has delivered your adversaries into your hand. And he gave him a tithe of all.

I showed you by all things that working hard in this way it is needful to help the ones being feeble, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
But I have all things and more than enough; I have been made full, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, a fragrance of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.
And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to drink to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward, not ever!
this is not the fast I have chosen: to open bands of wickedness, to undo thongs of the yoke, and to send out free the ones being oppressed, and that you pull off every yoke?Is it not to break your bread to the hungry, that you should bring the wandering poor ones to your house? When will you see the naked ones and cover him, and you will not hide yourself from your flesh?
Do not withhold good from its owners, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.Do not say to your neighbor, Go and return, or, Tomorrow I will give, when it is with you.
But let the one being taught in the Word share with the one teaching, in all good things.
Charge the rich in the age now, not to be high-minded, nor to set hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, the One offering to us richly all things for enjoyment;to do good, to be rich in good works, to be ready to impart, to be generous ones,treasuring away for themselves a good foundation for the coming age, that they may lay hold on everlasting life.
Speak to the sons of Israel, and let them take an offering for Me. From every man whose heart impels him, let them take My offering.
And it shall be, when you have come into the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you as an inheritance, and you have possessed it, and live in it;even you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground which you shall bring in from your land which Jehovah your God is giving to you, and shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.

Every thing which Jehovah was pleased to do, He did, in the heavens and in the earth, and in the seas and all deep places.He causes the vapors to rise from the end of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His storehouses;
So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven.
And God is able to make all grace to abound toward you, that in everything, always having all self sufficiency, you may abound to every good work;
But you shall remember Jehovah your God, for it is He who gives to you power to get wealth; that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
And I know, my God, that You try the heart and are pleased with uprightness; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have offered willingly all these things; and now I have watched with joy Your people who are present here offering willingly to You.
Sell the things belonging of you and give merciful gifts. Make for yourselves purses that do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where a thief cannot come near, nor moth can ruin.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, do not trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.But you doing merciful deeds, do not let your left know what your right hand does,so that your merciful deeds may be in secret. And your Father, the One seeing in secret, Himself will repay you in the open.
and this stone which I have placed as a memorial pillar shall become the house of God; and all which You shall give to me, I will tithe the tenth to You.
For Macedonia and Achaia thought it good to make certain contribution to the poor of the saints in Jerusalem.
And Moses commanded, and they caused it to be voiced in the camp, saying, And let no man and woman make any more offering for the sanctuary; and the people were held back from bringing.And their property was sufficient for all the work, to do it, and it was too much.
Do you not know that those laboring about the holy things of the temple eat? Those attending on the altar share together with the altar.So also the Lord ordained the ones proclaiming the gospel to live from the gospel.
Jesus said to him, If you desire to be perfect, go sell the things belonging to you and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; and come, follow Me.
And in the end of days, it happened that Cain brought an offering to Jehovah from the fruit of the ground.And Abel brought, he also, from the firstlings of his flocks, even from their fat. Give to Jehovah, O families of the people; give to Jehovah glory and might.Give to Jehovah the glory due His name; lift up an offering and come in to His courts.
Walking he who walks and weeps, bearing a trail of seed, shall come again with a ringing cry of joy, bearing his sheaves.

Remove vanity and the word of a lie far from me, do not give me poverty or riches; tear for me my portion of bread,lest I become satisfied and deceive, and say, Who is Jehovah? Or lest I become dispossessed and steal, and lay hold of the name of my God.
And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, In so far as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.
But let us not be wearied in doing good; for in its own time we shall reap, not growing faint-hearted.So, then, as we have time, let us work the good toward all, and especially toward the household of the faith.
And you know, too, Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I went out from Macedonia, not one assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, if not you only.Because truly in Thessalonica you sent to my need, both once and twice.

The one giving to one being poor shall not lack, but the one hiding his eyes shall have plenty of curses.
And also, because I delighted in the house of my God, I have treasure of gold and silver which I give for the house of my God, even more than all that I have prepared for the house of the sanctuary:
and if you let out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the soul of the afflicted one; then your light shall rise in the darkness, and your gloom shall be as the noonday.

Do not treasure up for you treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves dig through and steal.But treasure up for you treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves do not dig through and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Giving you shall give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because Jehovah your God will bless you for this thing, in all your work, and in all that you put your hand to.
He has scattered; he has given to the needy ones; his righteousness is standing forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.

or the one exhorting, in the encouragement; the one sharing, in simplicity; the one leading, in diligence; the one showing mercy, in cheerfulness.
to the one asking you, Give, and to the one wishing to borrow from you, do not turn away.
who executes judgment for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry; Jehovah sets free the prisoners;
And when I arrive, whomever you approve through these epistles, I will send to carry your gift of grace to Jerusalem.And if it is suitable for me to go also, they shall go with me.
in everything you being enriched to all simplicity, which works out thanksgiving to God through us.
And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the service of righteousness shall be quietness and trusting till forever.
Therefore, if you, being evil, know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father, the One in Heaven give good things to those that ask Him?
in brotherly love toward one another, loving tenderly, going before one another in honor;
Cast on Jehovah that given to you, and He will keep you; He will not give shaking to the righteous ones forever.
