65 Bible verses about love of nature

65 Bible verses about love of nature

Think about it: God didn't leave us a detailed instruction manual for creation, but instead, He set up these amazing physical laws that govern everything in nature. And these laws are constantly working, right now, according to His will. Pretty awesome, right?

Nature itself shouts that God is real. Psalm 19:11 puts it perfectly: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." It's like the whole universe is a giant billboard for His existence.

As believers, it's important for us to grasp that the things we can't see about God—His incredible power, His majesty—are visible all around us, woven into the fabric of creation. It's mind-blowing!

God loves it when we're awestruck by His handiwork. Everything around us, from the smallest bug to the vastness of space, was made so we could catch a glimpse of His love for us, a tiny hint of how wonderful He truly is. And when we get that, it just makes us want to worship Him with all our hearts.

So take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you. See God in it. Thank Him for it. Every sunrise is a fresh reminder of His mercy in our lives.

Psalm 19:1-4

The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb. Moreover your servant is warned by them. In keeping them there is great reward. Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, LORD, my rock, and my redeemer. Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,

Prayer

Great and wondrous God, you are my all. I adore you, and my heart overflows with gratitude, surrendering to you just as you are, and for all you do for me each morning. Father, you are the worker of miracles, for from the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth and the heavens – they are the work of your hands. You are the creator of all nature, and it testifies to your very being, a witness to your divine greatness. Your word says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Father, the winds and the seas obey your voice, and nature, in its silent, wordless way, praises you. It magnifies your name, acknowledging you as its God and creator. How much more should we, humankind, made in your image, do the same? In Jesus' name, Amen.
