VERSES ABOUT JOY

Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.

This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.

Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.

Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.

Thou wilt make known to me the path of life: thy countenance is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.

And he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared; for the day is holy to our Lord; and be not grieved, for the joy of Jehovah is your strength.

For a moment is passed in his anger, a life in his favour; at even weeping cometh for the night, and at morn there is rejoicing.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye should abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jehovah hath done great things for us; and we are joyful.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.

I have spoken these things to you that my joy may be in you, and your joy be full.

As regards hope, rejoicing: as regards tribulation, enduring: as regards prayer, persevering:

Rejoice in Jehovah, and be glad, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye upright in heart.

rejoice always;pray unceasingly;in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus towards you;

Serve Jehovah with joy: come before his presence with exultation.

Hitherto ye have asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

whom, having not seen, ye love; on whom though not now looking, but believing, ye exult with joy unspeakable and filled with the glory,receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitress of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

A joyful heart promoteth healing; but a broken spirit drieth up the bones.

and delight thyself in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

each according as he is purposed in his heart; not grievingly, or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with the priestly turban, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Thou hast put joy in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their new wine was in abundance.

For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive-tree shall fail, And the fields shall yield no food; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls:Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me thy comforts have delighted my soul.

by whom we have also access by faith into this favour in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded,in order that, even as sin has reigned in the power of death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.And not only that, but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance;

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Exult, ye righteous, in Jehovah: praise is comely for the upright.

Jehovah is my strength and my shield; my heart confided in him, and I was helped: therefore my heart exulteth, and with my song will I praise him.

I leave peace with you; I give my peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear.

I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and let a willing spirit sustain me.

Rejoice in Jehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

And every day, being constantly in the temple with one accord, and breaking bread in the house, they received their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,praising God, and having favour with all the people; and the Lord added to the assembly daily those that were to be saved.

Thy testimonies have I taken as a heritage for ever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

Majesty and splendour are before him; Strength and gladness in his place.

Blessed is the people that know the shout of joy: they walk, O Jehovah, in the light of thy countenance.In thy name are they joyful all the day, and in thy righteousness are they exalted.

For thou hast made him to be blessings for ever; thou hast filled him with joy by thy countenance.

The hope of the righteous is joy; but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

in order that I may come to you in joy by God's will, and that I may be refreshed with you.

Blessed the people that is in such a case! Blessed the people whose God is Jehovah!

But the righteous shall rejoice: they shall exult before God and be glad with joy.

Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.

So that, my brethren, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, thus stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living ·God

And ye, children of Zion, be glad and rejoice in Jehovah your God for he giveth you the early rain in due measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the early rain, and the latter rain at the beginning of the season.

My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation: This is my ·God and I will glorify him; My father's God and I will extol him.

Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight.

And having said this, he shewed to them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced therefore, having seen the Lord.

Not that we rule over your faith, but are fellow-workmen of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

Jehovah reigneth: let the earth be glad, let the many isles rejoice.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

For the rest, brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the might of his strength.

Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights, with whom is no variation nor shadow of turning.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ;

And they, having done him homage, returned to Jerusalem with great joy,and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God.

though indeed he did not leave himself without witness, doing good, and giving to you from heaven rain and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.
