VERSES ABOUT JOY
Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.
This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.
Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.
You show me the path of life; In Your presence is joy to satisfaction; At Your right hand are pleasures forever.
Then he said to them, “Go, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom none is prepared. For this day is set-apart to our Master. Do not be sad, for the joy of יהוה is your strength.”
For His displeasure is for a moment, His delight is for life; Weeping might last for the night, But joy comes in the morning.
And the Elohim of expectation fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you overflow with expectation by the power of the Set-apart Spirit.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustworthiness,gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no Torah.
These words I have spoken to you, so that My joy might be in you, and that your joy might be complete.
Rejoice always,pray without ceasing,in all circumstances give thanks, for this is the desire of Elohim in Messiah יהושע for you.
“Until now you have asked naught in My Name. Ask, and you shall receive, in order that your joy might be complete.
whom having not seen, you love; in whom you exult with unspeakable and esteemed joy, yet not seeing, but believing,obtaining the goal of your belief: a deliverance of lives.
“Cry aloud and shout, O inhabitant of Tsiyon, for great is the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl in your midst!”
For the reign of Elohim is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Set-apart Spirit.
Let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not of grief or of necessity, for Elohim loves a joyous giver.
I greatly rejoice in יהוה, my being exults in my Elohim. For He has put garments of deliverance on me, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
You have put more gladness in my heart, Than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
Though the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vine, The yield of the olive has failed, And the fields brought forth no food, The flock has been cut off from the fold, And there is no herd in the stalls,Yet I exult in יהוה, I rejoice in the Elohim of my deliverance.
My brothers, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of Elohim.Therefore put away all filthiness and overflow of evil, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your lives.And become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.Because if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror,for he looks at himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what he was like.But he that looked into the perfect Torah, that of freedom, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work, this one shall be blessed in his doing of the Torah.If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is worthless.Clean and undefiled religion before the Elohim and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.knowing that the proving of your belief works endurance.
through whom also we have access by belief into this favour in which we stand, and we exult in the expectation of the esteem of Elohim.And the Torah came in beside, so that the trespass would increase. But where sin increased, favour increased still more,so that as sin did reign in death, even so favour might reign through righteousness to everlasting life through יהושע Messiah our Master.And not only this, but we also exult in pressures, knowing that pressure works endurance;
“For with joy you go out, and with peace you are brought in – the mountains and the hills break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field clap the hands.
יהוה is my strength, and my shield; My heart has trusted in Him, and I have been helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I thank Him.
“Peace I leave with you – My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
And day by day, continuing with one mind in the Set-apart Place, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,praising Elohim and having favour with all the people. And the Master added to the assembly those who were being saved, day by day.
Sing, O heavens, rejoice, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For יהוה shall comfort His people and have compassion on His afflicted ones.
But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; Let them ever shout for joy, because You shelter them; And let those who love Your Name exult in You.
speaking to each other in psalms and songs of praise and spiritual songs, singing and striking the strings in your heart to the Master,And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet-smelling fragrance.giving thanks always for all to Elohim the Father, in the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah,
Blessed are the people Who know the sounding! They walk, O יהוה, in the light of Your face.In Your Name they rejoice all day long, And they are exalted in Your righteousness.
For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him glad with the joy of Your presence.
“But do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names have been written in the heavens.”
Why are you depressed, O my being? And why are you restless within me? Wait for Elohim: for I shall yet thank Him, For the deliverance of His face!
that I might come to you with joy, through the desire of Elohim, and be refreshed together with you.
In fact, even if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the offering and service of your belief, I am glad and rejoice with you all.So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
“Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for look, your reward is great in the heaven, for that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
to appoint unto those who mourn in Tsiyon: to give them embellishment for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. And they shall be called trees of righteousness, a planting of יהוה, to be adorned.
Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart. For Your Name is called on me, O יהוה Elohim of hosts.
Then our mouth shall be filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing, Then shall they say among the nations, “יהוה has done great deeds for them.”
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, “יהוה shall reign.”
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;Let the field exult, and all that is in it. Let all the trees of the forest then shout for joy,
Let all those who seek You Rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your deliverance always say, “יהוה be exalted!”
“יהוה your Elohim in your midst, is mighty to save. He rejoices over you with joy, He is silent in His love, He rejoices over you with singing.”
“And now I come to You. And I speak these words in the world, so that they have My joy completed in them.
Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts, By His Name Yah, And exult before Him.
“But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for look, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
For the rest, my brothers, rejoice in יהוה. To write the same matters to you is truly no trouble to me, and for you it is safe.
For You have made me rejoice with Your work, O יהוה, I shout for joy at the works of Your hands.
And Ḥannah prayed and said, “My heart rejoices in יהוה, my horn has been high in יהוה. My mouth is opened wide over my enemies, for I have rejoiced in Your deliverance.
Sing to יהוה, bless His Name, Proclaim His deliverance from day to day.Declare His esteem among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
So then, my brothers, beloved and longed-for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Master, beloved.
My being has longed, and even fainted, For the courts of יהוה; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living Ěl.
And you children of Tsiyon, be glad and rejoice in יהוה your Elohim, for He shall give you the Teacher of Righteousness, and cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before.
That I might come to the slaughter-place of Elohim, To Ěl, the joy of my delight, And praise You with the lyre, O Elohim, my Elohim.
And having brought them into his house, he set food before them. And he rejoiced with all his household, having believed in Elohim.
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf. I have been filled with encouragement, I overflow with joy in all our pressure.
You shall increase the nation; You shall make its joy great. They shall rejoice before You, as in the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
My being is satisfied as with marrow and fat, And my mouth praises You with singing lips.When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing.
You have loved righteousness and hated wrongness; Therefore Elohim, Your Elohim, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.
Sing, O heavens, for יהוה shall do it! Shout, O depths of the earth! Break forth into singing, O mountains, forest, and every tree in it! For יהוה shall redeem Ya‛aqoḇ, and make Himself clear in Yisra’ĕl.
“I say to you that in the same way there shall be more joy in the heaven over one sinner repenting, than over ninety-nine righteous ones who need no repentance.
And not only this, but we also exult in Elohim through our Master יהושע Messiah, through whom we have now received the restoration to favour.
Let Yisra’ĕl rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Tsiyon exult in their Sovereign.
And the ransomed of יהוה shall return and enter Tsiyon with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
“Then shall a maiden rejoice in a dance, and young men and old, together. And I shall turn their mourning to joy, and shall comfort them, and shall make them rejoice from their sorrow,
And it shall be said in that day, “See, this is our Elohim. We have waited for Him, and He saves us. This is יהוה, we have waited for Him, let us be glad and rejoice in His deliverance.”
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You judge the peoples uprightly, And lead the nations on earth. Selah.
For we are the circumcision, who are serving Elohim in the Spirit, and boasting in Messiah יהושע, and do not trust in the flesh,
all those who are called by My Name, whom I have created, formed, even made for My esteem.”
And in that day you shall say, “I thank You יהוה, though You were enraged with me, Your displeasure has turned back, and You have comforted me.
And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to his purpose.
So that I declare all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Tsiyon. I rejoice in Your deliverance.
Yah is my strength and song, and He has become my deliverance. He is my Ěl, and I praise Him – Elohim of my father, and I exalt Him.
And having said this, He showed them His hands and His side. The taught ones therefore rejoiced when they saw the Master.
Not that we rule over your belief, but we are fellow workers for your joy, for you stand by belief.
Let Mount Tsiyon rejoice, Let the daughters of Yehuḏah exult, Because of Your right-rulings.
And being persuaded of this, I know that I shall stay and continue with you all, for your progress and joy of belief,
“And there you shall eat before יהוה your Elohim, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which יהוה your Elohim has blessed you.
And let them slaughter slaughterings of thanksgiving, And relate His works with rejoicing.
And let the ransomed of יהוה return. And they shall come to Tsiyon with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. Let them attain joy and gladness; sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
They send forth the remembrance of Your great goodness, And they sing of Your righteousness.
For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Master and in the mightiness of His strength.
I sing of the loving-commitment of יהוה forever; With my mouth I make known Your trustworthiness To all generations.You have broken Rahaḇ in pieces, as one who is slain; You have scattered Your enemies With the arm of Your strength.The heavens are Yours, The earth also is Yours; The world and all that fills it. You have founded them.North and south – You have created them; Taḇor and Ḥermon rejoice in Your Name.You have a mighty arm, Your hand is strong, Your right hand exalted.Righteousness and right-ruling Are the foundation of Your throne; Loving-commitment and truth go before Your face.Blessed are the people Who know the sounding! They walk, O יהוה, in the light of Your face.In Your Name they rejoice all day long, And they are exalted in Your righteousness.For You are the comeliness of their strength, And by Your good pleasure our horn is exalted.For יהוה is our shield, And the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is our Sovereign.Then You spoke in a vision to Your lovingly-committed one, And You said, “I have given help to one who is mighty, I have exalted one chosen from the people.For I said, “Loving-commitment is built up forever; You establish Your trustworthiness in the heavens.”
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.
Sing praises to Elohim, sing praises! Sing praises to our Sovereign, sing praises!For Elohim is Sovereign of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.
Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master יהושע Messiah, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Messiah,
And they, having bowed down to Him, returned to Yerushalayim with great joy,and were continually in the Set-apart Place praising and blessing Elohim. Amĕn.
though, indeed, He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good – giving us rain from heaven and fruit-bearing seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”

“And you, therefore, have grief now, but I shall see you again and your heart shall rejoice, and no one takes your joy away from you.

But thanks be to Elohim who always leads us on, to overcome in Messiah, and manifests through us the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
Therefore I bless You while I live; In Your Name I lift up my hands.My being is satisfied as with marrow and fat, And my mouth praises You with singing lips.
Praise Yah! Sing to יהוה a new song, His praise in an assembly of lovingly-committed ones.
And let them exalt Him in the assembly of the people, And praise Him in the seat of the elders.
I give You thanks with all my heart; Before the mighty ones I sing praises to You.I bow myself toward Your set-apart Hĕḵal, And give thanks to Your Name For Your loving-commitment and for Your truth; For You have made great Your Word, Your Name, above all.
And his master said to him, ‘Well done, good and trustworthy servant. You were trustworthy over a little, I shall set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ ”
And do not be drunk with wine, in which is loose behaviour, but be filled with the Spirit,speaking to each other in psalms and songs of praise and spiritual songs, singing and striking the strings in your heart to the Master,And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet-smelling fragrance.giving thanks always for all to Elohim the Father, in the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah,
A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And how good is a word spoken in its season!
but as you share Messiah’s sufferings, rejoice, in order that you might rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His esteem.
And you became imitators of us and of the Master, having received the word in much pressure, with joy of the Set-apart Spirit,
