VERSES ABOUT JOY

Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.

This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.

Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice!

You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Then he said to them, "Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved; for the joy of YHWH is your strength."

For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

YHWH has done great things for us, and we are glad.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Be glad in YHWH, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart!

Rejoice always.Pray without ceasing.In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

Serve YHWH with gladness. Come before his presence with singing.

Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.

whom not having seen you love; in whom, though now you do not see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory�receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is great in the midst of you!"

This is the day that YHWH has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Also delight yourself in YHWH, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.

I will greatly rejoice in YHWH, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.

For though the fig tree doesn't flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls:yet I will rejoice in YHWH. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.

through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance;

For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.

Rejoice in YHWH, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.

YHWH is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.

Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.

Be glad in YHWH, you righteous people! Give thanks to his holy Name.

Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

always in every request of mine on behalf of you all making my requests with joy,

My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!

My soul shall be joyful in YHWH. It shall rejoice in his salvation.

Sing, heavens; and be joyful, earth; and break forth into singing, mountains: for YHWH has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice, Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you.

I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.

that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.

Let the holy ones rejoice in honor. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.In the same way, you also rejoice, and rejoice with me.

Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is YHWH.

But let the righteous be glad. Let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.

Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets.

to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH, that he may be glorified.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace.

YHWH, your God, is in the midst of you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.

But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.

I rejoice at your word, as one who finds great spoil.

The disciples were filled with joy with the Holy Spirit.

An evil man is snared by his sin, but the righteous can sing and be glad.

Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Extol him who rides on the clouds: to Yah, his name! Rejoice before him!

Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Sing to YHWH! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.

Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.

My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of YHWH. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

"Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in YHWH, your God; for he gives you the former rain in just measure, and he causes the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before.

A glad heart makes a cheerful face; but an aching heart breaks the spirit.

Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.

He brought them up into his house, and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, with all his household, having believed in God.

I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.

Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

YHWH's ransomed ones will return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away."

In that day you will say, "I will give thanks to you, YHWH; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

that I may show forth all your praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion, I will rejoice in your salvation.

Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your Law is my delight.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad when they saw the Lord.

Not that we have lordship over your faith, but are fellow workers with you for your joy. For you stand firm in faith.

Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of your judgments.

The ransomed of YHWH shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be on their heads. They shall obtain gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

YHWH reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!

They will utter the memory of your great goodness, and will sing of your righteousness.

yet I will rejoice in YHWH. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.

I indeed declare, "Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them."

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.

Sing praise to God, sing praises. Sing praises to our King, sing praises.For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;

They worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,and were continually in the temple, blessing God.

Yet he did not leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness."

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Praise Yah! Sing to YHWH a new song, his praise in the assembly of the holy ones.

Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.

I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all.

Unless your Law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

"His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

While I live, I will praise YHWH. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

Do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and singing praises in your heart to the Lord;giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father;

Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!

But because you are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.

You became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

Oh give thanks to YHWH. Call on his name. Make his doings known among the peoples.Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvelous works.Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek YHWH rejoice.
