VERSES ABOUT JOY

Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.

This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.

Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice!

You will make Me know the way of life. In Your presence is fullness of joys; at Your right hand are pleasures forever.

Then he said to them, Go eat the fat, and drink of the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of Jehovah is your refuge.

For His anger is only a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure in the evening, but a ringing cry of joy comes in the morning.

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

Jehovah did great things to work with us; we are glad.

But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,meekness, self-control. Against such things there is not a law.

I have spoken these things to you that My joy may abide in you, and your joy may be made full.

in hope, rejoicing; in distress, enduring; in prayer, steadfastly continuing;

Be glad in Jehovah and rejoice, you righteous ones; and all the upright in heart, give a ringing cry of joy.

Rejoice always.Pray without ceasing.In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

Worship Jehovah with gladness; come before His face with joyful singing.

Until now you asked nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, so that your joy may be filled.

whom having not known, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with joy unspeakable and being glorified,obtaining the end of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

and give a ringing cry of joy, one living in Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst.

This is the day Jehovah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

A joyful heart makes good healing, but a stricken spirit dries the bones.

And delight yourself in Jehovah, that He may give you your heart’s desire.

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Each one as he purposes in his heart, not out of grief or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. Prov. 22:8

Rejoicing I will rejoice in Jehovah. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For He clothed me with garments of salvation; He put on me the robe of righteousness, even as a bridegroom puts on his head-dress, and as a bride puts on her ornaments.

You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time their grain and their wine became great.

Though the fig tree shall not blossom, and fruit is not on the vines; the product of the olive fails, and the fields make no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and no herd is in the stalls,yet I will exult in Jehovah; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials,knowing that the testing of your faith works enduring patience.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me, Your comforts delight my soul.

through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction fully works patient endurance,

For you shall go out with joy and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break out into song before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap the palm.

Rejoice in Jehovah, O righteous ones; praise is becoming to the upright ones .

Jehovah is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; yea, my heart greatly rejoices, and I will thank Him with my song.

Peace I leave to you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives I give to you. Let not your heart be agitated, nor let it be fearful.

I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will praise Your name, O Most High,

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Be glad in Jehovah, O righteous ones; give thanks to the memory of His holiness.

And according to a day continuing steadfastly with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in great joy and simplicity of heart,praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to the assembly the ones being saved according to a day.

My lips shall give a ringing cry of joy, for I will sing praise to You; also my soul which you have redeemed.

and not only so, but also glorying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation.

And ones being ransomed of Jehovah shall return and enter Zion with a ringing cry of joy. and with everlasting joy on their head; gladness and joy shall reach them, and sorrow and sighing shall flee.

My strength and song is Jehovah, and it happened, He was salvation to me; this is my God and I will glorify Him; the God of my father, and I will exalt Him.

Let Your mercies come to me that I may live; for Your Law is my delight.

And saying this, He showed them His hands and side. Then seeing the Lord, the disciples rejoiced.

Not that we rule over your faith, but we are fellow-workers of your joy. For by faith you stand.

Mount Zion shall be glad; the daughters of Judah shall rejoice because of Your judgments.

yet I will exult in Jehovah; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

Joy is to a man by the answer of his mouth, and how good is a word in its time.

but according as you share the sufferings of Christ, rejoice; so that you may rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His glory.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, welcoming the Word in much affliction with joy of the Holy Spirit.
