VERSES ABOUT JOY

Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.

This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.

Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

You have made known to me the ways of life; You will fill me with joy with Your countenance: at Your right hand there are delights forever.

And the governor said to them, Go, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them that have nothing; for this day is holy to our Lord: and faint not, for the Lord is our strength.

For anger is in His wrath, but life in His favor; weeping shall tarry for the evening, but joy comes in the morning.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord has done great things for us, we became joyful.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness, self-control--against such things there is no law.

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may abide in you, and that your joy may be full.

rejoicing in hope, enduring in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Be glad in the Lord, and exalt, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart!

Rejoice always!Pray without ceasing!In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with exaltation.

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Whom not having seen, you love, in whom now not seeing, but believing, you rejoice with inexpressible joy and glorified,obtaining for yourselves the outcome your faith--the salvation of your souls.

Exalt and rejoice, you that dwell in Zion; for the Holy One of Israel is exalted in the midst of her.

A glad heart promotes health, but the bones of a sorrowful man dry up.

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were sharing food with joy and simplicity of heart,praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to the church daily those who were being saved.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

that I may declare all Your praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in Your salvation.

He was to me a helper and protector for salvation: this is my God and I will glorify Him; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

Let Your compassions come to me, that I may live; for Your law is my meditation.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ,

And yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, giving to you rains from heaven and fruitbearing seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness."

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, in that you received the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, call upon Him by His name, make known His designs among the people.Sing songs to Him, and sing hymns to Him, relate to all people His wonderful deeds, which the Lord has wrought.Praise His holy name, the heart that seeks His pleasure shall rejoice.
