“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
Without having seen him you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy.As the outcome of your faith you obtain the salvation of your souls.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received our reconciliation. Therefore as sin came into the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all men sinned—sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. And the free gift is not like the effect of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brings justification. If, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. Then as one man's trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one man's act of righteousness leads to acquittal and life for all men.For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man's obedience many will be made righteous.Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it; shout, O depths of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, and will be glorified in Israel.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with joy inspired by the Holy Spirit;
May all who seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee! May those who love thy salvation say evermore, “God is great!”
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may praise thee and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.
Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received our reconciliation.
What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in that I rejoice.

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Let the righteous rejoice in the Lord, and take refuge in him! Let all the upright in heart glory!
But let all who take refuge in thee rejoice, let them ever sing for joy; and do thou defend them, that those who love thy name may exult in thee.
Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.

Therefore, my brethren, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”Hark, your watchmen lift up their voice, together they sing for joy; for eye to eye they see the return of the Lord to Zion.Break forth together into singing, you waste places of Jerusalem; for the Lord has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
Hannah also prayed and said, “My heart exults in the Lord; my strength is exalted in the Lord. My mouth derides my enemies, because I rejoice in thy salvation.
My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to thee; my soul also, which thou hast rescued.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
For thou, O Lord, hast made me glad by thy work; at the works of thy hands I sing for joy.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways, heed my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God—not because of works, lest any man should boast.
We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner shrine behind the curtain,
For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; our God is merciful. The Lord preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.Put no confidence in extortion, set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God;and that to thee, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For thou dost requite a man according to his work.He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly moved.
And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name; make known his deeds among the nations, proclaim that his name is exalted.“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered? If the worshipers had once been cleansed, they would no longer have any consciousness of sin.by the new and living way which he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.Come, O sons, listen to me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. What man is there who desires life, and covets many days, that he may enjoy good?Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and his ears toward their cry.The face of the Lord is against evildoers, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all.My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and be glad.He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken.Evil shall slay the wicked; and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!
“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
Then he brought them up into his house, and set food before them; and he rejoiced with all his household that he had believed in God.
If, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
it is the Spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God,and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty,no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent. For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways.On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.Because he cleaves to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed every day.For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, because we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.
O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.“You are my witnesses,” says the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior.I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” says the Lord.“I am God, and also henceforth I am He; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work and who can hinder it?”Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sake I will send to Babylon and break down all the bars, and the shouting of the Chaldeans will be turned to lamentations. I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, who brings forth chariot and horse, army and warrior; they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguished, quenched like a wick:“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old.Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people, the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.“Yet you did not call upon me, O Jacob; but you have been weary of me, O Israel! You have not brought me your sheep for burnt offerings, or honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, or wearied you with frankincense. You have not bought me sweet cane with money, or satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins, you have wearied me with your iniquities.“I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.Put me in remembrance, let us argue together; set forth your case, that you may be proved right.Your first father sinned, and your mediators transgressed against me.Therefore I profaned the princes of the sanctuary, I delivered Jacob to utter destruction and Israel to reviling. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in exchange for you.
And the angel said to them, “Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people;for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Light rises in the darkness for the upright; the Lord is gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. For the righteous will never be moved; he will be remembered for ever.He is not afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.
who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not in virtue of our works but in virtue of his own purpose and the grace which he gave us in Christ Jesus ages ago,
And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! For forty years I loathed that generation and said, “They are a people who err in heart, and they do not regard my ways.”Therefore I swore in my anger that they should not enter my rest.Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and shield.Yea, our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.Let thy steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in thee.

Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds; his name is the Lord, exult before him!Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.God gives the desolate a home to dwell in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.
See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.By this it may be seen who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not do right is not of God, nor he who does not love his brother. For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, and not be like Cain who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous.Do not wonder, brethren, that the world hates you.We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.Any one who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But if any one has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?Little children, let us not love in word or speech but in deed and in truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth, and reassure our hearts before himBeloved, we are God's children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
I will sing of thy steadfast love, O Lord, for ever; with my mouth I will proclaim thy faithfulness to all generations.
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
he delivered us from so deadly a peril, and he will deliver us; on him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and for evermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
