“See! God is my salvation. I am confident and unafraid; for Yah Adonai is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation!”Then you will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation.
Without having seen him, you love him. Without seeing him now, but trusting in him, you continue to be full of joy that is glorious beyond words. And you are receiving what your trust is aiming at, namely, your deliverance.
May God, the source of hope, fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Ruach HaKodesh you may overflow with hope.
I am so joyful in Adonai! My soul rejoices in my God, for he has clothed me in salvation, dressed me with a robe of triumph, like a bridegroom wearing a festive turban, like a bride adorned with her jewels.
So, since we have come to be considered righteous by God because of our trust, let us continue to have shalom with God through our Lord, Yeshua the Messiah. For if we were reconciled with God through his Son’s death when we were enemies, how much more will we be delivered by his life, now that we are reconciled! And not only will we be delivered in the future, but we are boasting about God right now, because he has acted through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, through whom we have already received that reconciliation. Here is how it works: it was through one individual that sin entered the world, and through sin, death; and in this way death passed through to the whole human race, inasmuch as everyone sinned.Sin was indeed present in the world before Torah was given, but sin is not counted as such when there is no Torah.Nevertheless death ruled from Adam until Moshe, even over those whose sinning was not exactly like Adam’s violation of a direct command. In this, Adam prefigured the one who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offence. For if, because of one man’s offence, many died, then how much more has God’s grace, that is, the gracious gift of one man, Yeshua the Messiah, overflowed to many! No, the free gift is not like what resulted from one man’s sinning; for from one sinner came judgment that brought condemnation; but the free gift came after many offences and brought acquittal. For if, because of the offence of one man, death ruled through that one man; how much more will those receiving the overflowing grace, that is, the gift of being considered righteous, rule in life through the one man Yeshua the Messiah! In other words, just as it was through one offence that all people came under condemnation, so also it is through one righteous act that all people come to be considered righteous. For just as through the disobedience of the one man, many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the other man, many will be made righteous. Also through him and on the ground of our trust, we have gained access to this grace in which we stand; so let us boast about the hope of experiencing God’s glory.
Nevertheless, don’t be glad that the spirits submit to you; be glad that your names have been recorded in heaven.”
“Have mercy on me, Adonai! See how I suffer from those who hate me; you raise me from the gates of death,
On that day they will say, “See! This is our God! We waited for him to save us. This is Adonai ; we put our hope in him. We are full of joy, so glad he saved us!”
Yah is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. The sound of rejoicing and victory is heard in the tents of the righteous: “Adonai’s right hand struck powerfully!
Then my enemy would say, “I was able to beat him”; and my adversaries would rejoice at my downfall.
Sing to Adonai, all the earth! Proclaim his victory day after day!Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples!
Sing, you heavens, for Adonai has done it! Shout, you depths of the earth! Mountains, break out into song, along with every tree in the forest! For Adonai has redeemed Ya‘akov; he glorifies himself in Isra’el.
For what one earns from sin is death; but eternal life is what one receives as a free gift from God, in union with the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.
Always be joyful.Pray regularly. In everything give thanks, for this is what God wants from you who are united with the Messiah Yeshua.
Our mouths were full of laughter, and our tongues shouted for joy. Among the nations it was said, “Adonai has done great things for them!”Adonai did do great things with us; and we are overjoyed.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
In conclusion, my brothers: rejoice in union with the Lord. It is no trouble for me to repeat what I have written you before, and for you it will be a safeguard:
Till now you haven’t asked for anything in my name. Keep asking, and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
Then he said to them, “Go, eat rich food, drink sweet drinks, and send portions to those who can’t provide for themselves; for today is consecrated to our Lord. Don’t be sad, because the joy of Adonai is your strength.”
You, indeed, became imitators of us and of the Lord; so that even though you were going through severe troubles, you received the Word with joy from the Ruach HaKodesh.
Those ransomed by Adonai will return and come with singing to Tziyon, on their heads will be everlasting joy. They will acquire gladness and joy, while sorrow and sighing will flee.
Hear me, Adonai, and show me your favor! Adonai, be my helper!”You turned my mourning into dancing! You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
And not only will we be delivered in the future, but we are boasting about God right now, because he has acted through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, through whom we have already received that reconciliation.
But so what? All that matters is that in every way, whether honestly or in pretense, the Messiah is being proclaimed; and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,
I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who turns to God from his sins than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need to repent.
Everyone is awestruck — they acknowledge that it is God at work, they understand what he has done.
God, declare them guilty! Let them fall through their own intrigues, For their many crimes, throw them down; since they have rebelled against you.
Sing, heaven! Rejoice, earth! Break out in song, you mountains! For Adonai is comforting his people, having mercy on his own who have suffered.
Rejoice, be glad, because your reward in heaven is great — they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way.
Drive them away as smoke is driven away; like wax melting in the presence of a fire, let the wicked perish in the presence of God.
Adonai your God is right there with you, as a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you and be glad, he will be silent in his love, he will shout over you with joy.”
You make me know the path of life; in your presence is unbounded joy, in your right hand eternal delight.
Adonai is my strength and shield; in him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. Therefore my heart is filled with joy, and I will sing praises to him.
I will give the cohanim their fill of rich food, and my people will be satisfied with my bounty,” says Adonai.
So, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and my crown, my dear friends, keep standing firm in union with the Lord.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, proclaiming shalom, bringing good news of good things, announcing salvation and saying to Tziyon, “Your God is King!”Listen! Your watchmen are raising their voices, shouting for joy together. For they will see, before their own eyes, Adonai returning to Tziyon.Break out into joy! Sing together, you ruins of Yerushalayim! For Adonai has comforted his people, he has redeemed Yerushalayim!
Then Hannah prayed; she said: “My heart exults in Adonai! My dignity has been restored by Adonai! I can gloat over my enemies, because of my joy at your saving me.
“What I am leaving with you is shalom — I am giving you my shalom. I don’t give the way the world gives. Don’t let yourselves be upset or frightened.
And now, brothers, shalom! Put yourselves in order, pay attention to my advice, be of one mind, live in shalom — and the God of love and shalom will be with you.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.
Therefore, there is no longer any condemnation awaiting those who are in union with the Messiah Yeshua.
“Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.asking, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for someone else?”For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
but those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength, they will soar aloft as with eagles’ wings; when they are running they won’t grow weary, when they are walking they won’t get tired.
looking away to the Initiator and Completer of that trusting, Yeshua — who, in exchange for obtaining the joy set before him, endured execution on a stake as a criminal, scorning the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For Adonai, God, is a sun and a shield; Adonai bestows favor and honor; he will not withhold anything good from those whose lives are pure.
yes, provide for those in Tziyon who mourn, giving them garlands instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a cloak of praise instead of a heavy spirit, so that they will be called oaks of righteousness planted by Adonai, in which he takes pride.
After you went up into the heights, you led captivity captive, you took gifts among mankind, yes, even among the rebels, so that Yah, God, might live there.Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let those who hate him flee from his presence.Blessed be Adonai! Every day he bears our burden, does God, our salvation. (Selah)
For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God’s gift. You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast.
they feast on the rich bounty of your house, and you have them drink from the stream of your delights.
We have this hope as a sure and safe anchor for ourselves, a hope that goes right on through to what is inside the parokhet,
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers, neither what exists nor what is coming, neither powers above nor powers below, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God which comes to us through the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.
Adonai is merciful and righteous; yes, our God is compassionate.Adonai preserves the thoughtless; when I was brought low, he saved me.My soul, return to your rest! For Adonai has been generous toward you.
The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure.
And this is the witness: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.Those who have the Son have the life; those who do not have the Son of God do not have the life.
Therefore, if anyone is united with the Messiah, he is a new creation — the old has passed; look, what has come is fresh and new!
“A person whose desire rests on you you preserve in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.Trust in Adonai forever, because in Yah Adonai, is a Rock of Ages.”
I will thank you, Adonai my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify your name forever. For your grace toward me is so great! You have rescued me from the lowest part of Sh’ol.
He brought me up from the roaring pit, up from the muddy ooze, and set my feet on a rock, making my footing firm.
When the Messiah was executed on the stake as a criminal, I was too; so that my proud ego no longer lives. But the Messiah lives in me, and the life I now live in my body I live by the same trusting faithfulness that the Son of God had, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
For the leader. Set in the style of Y’dutun. A psalm of David:Ordinary folks are merely a breath and important people a sham; if you lay them on a balance-scale, they go up — both together are lighter than nothing.Don’t put your trust in extortion, don’t put false hopes in robbery; even if wealth increases, don’t set your heart on it.God has spoken once, I have heard it twice: strength belongs to God.Also to you, Adonai, belongs grace; for you reward all as their deeds deserve. My soul waits in silence for God alone; my salvation comes from him.
On that day you will say, “Give thanks to Adonai! Call on his name! Make his deeds known among the peoples, declare how exalted is his name.Sing to Adonai, for he has triumphed — this is being made known throughout the earth.
and let the shalom which comes from the Messiah be your heart’s decision-maker, for this is why you were called to be part of a single Body. And be thankful —
So, brothers, we have confidence to use the way into the Holiest Place opened by the blood of Yeshua.Otherwise, wouldn’t the offering of those sacrifices have ceased? For if the people performing the service had been cleansed once and for all, they would no longer have sins on their conscience. He inaugurated it for us as a new and living way through the parokhet, by means of his flesh.
By David, when he pretended to be insane before Avimelekh, who then drove him away; so he left:Fear Adonai, you holy ones of his, for those who fear him lack nothing.Young lions can be needy, they can go hungry, but those who seek Adonai lack nothing good.Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of Adonai.Which of you takes pleasure in living? Who wants a long life to see good things?[If you do,] keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceiving talk;turn from evil, and do good; seek peace, go after it!The eyes of Adonai watch over the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.But the face of Adonai opposes those who do evil, to cut off all memory of them from the earth.[The righteous] cried out, and Adonai heard, and he saved them from all their troubles.Adonai is near those with broken hearts; he saves those whose spirit is crushed.I will bless Adonai at all times; his praise will always be in my mouth. The righteous person suffers many evils, but Adonai rescues him out of them all.He protects all his bones; not one of them gets broken.Evil will kill the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. But Adonai redeems his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. When I boast, it will be about Adonai; the humble will hear of it and be glad.
After that, he brought them up to his house and set food in front of them; and he and his entire household celebrated their having come to trust in God.
For if, because of the offence of one man, death ruled through that one man; how much more will those receiving the overflowing grace, that is, the gift of being considered righteous, rule in life through the one man Yeshua the Messiah!
Yes, indeed! I tell you that whoever hears what I am saying and trusts the One who sent me has eternal life — that is, he will not come up for judgment but has already crossed over from death to life!
The Spirit himself bears witness with our own spirits that we are children of God;and if we are children, then we are also heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with the Messiah — provided we are suffering with him in order also to be glorified with him.
You who live in the shelter of ‘Elyon, who spend your nights in the shadow of Shaddai,No disaster will happen to you, no calamity will come near your tent;for he will order his angels to care for you and guard you wherever you go.They will carry you in their hands, so that you won’t trip on a stone. You will tread down lions and snakes, young lions and serpents you will trample underfoot.“Because he loves me, I will rescue him; because he knows my name, I will protect him.He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him when he is in trouble. I will extricate him and bring him honor.I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation.”who say to Adonai, “My refuge! My fortress! My God, in whom I trust!” —
And eternal life is this: to know you, the one true God, and him whom you sent, Yeshua the Messiah.
but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah!
This is why we do not lose courage. Though our outer self is heading for decay, our inner self is being renewed daily. For our light and transient troubles are achieving for us an everlasting glory whose weight is beyond description. We concentrate not on what is seen but on what is not seen, since things seen are temporary, but things not seen are eternal.
and consequently, he is totally able to deliver those who approach God through him; since he is alive forever and thus forever able to intercede on their behalf.
Here is how we know that we remain united with him and he with us: he has given to us from his own Spirit.
How can I repay Adonai for all his generous dealings with me?I will raise the cup of salvation and call on the name of Adonai.
Furthermore, you who heard the message of the truth, the Good News offering you deliverance, and put your trust in the Messiah were sealed by him with the promised Ruach HaKodesh, who guarantees our inheritance until we come into possession of it and thus bring him praise commensurate with his glory.
Light is sown for the righteous and joy for the upright in heart.Rejoice in Adonai, you righteous; and give thanks on recalling his holiness.
Yes, you will go out with joy, you will be led forth in peace. As you come, the mountains and hills will burst out into song, and all the trees in the countryside will clap their hands.
Sing to Adonai, bless his name! Proclaim his victory day after day!Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples!
Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with his purpose;
Adonai, you are my God. I exalt you, I praise your name. For you have accomplished marvels, [fulfilled] ancient plans faithfully and truly.
But now this is what Adonai says, he who created you, Ya‘akov, he who formed you, Isra’el: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you; I am calling you by your name; you are mine.“You are my witnesses,” says Adonai, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you can know and trust me and understand that I am he — no god was produced before me, nor will any be after me.I, yes I, am Adonai; besides me there is no deliverer.I have declared, saved and proclaimed — not some alien god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses,” says Adonai. “I am God.Since days began, I have been he. No one can deliver from my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?”Here is what Adonai, your redeemer, the Holy One of Isra’el, says: “For your sake I have sent [an army] to Bavel and knocked down the fleeing Kasdim, all of them; their songs of triumph are now lamentations.I am Adonai, your Holy One, the Creator of Isra’el, your King.”Here is what Adonai says, who made a way in the sea, a path through the raging waves;who led out chariot and horse, the army in its strength — they lay down, never to rise again, snuffed out and quenched like a wick:“Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by;I am doing something new; it’s springing up — can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland. When you pass through water, I will be with you; when you pass through rivers, they will not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you will not be scorched — the flame will not burn you.The wild animals will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I put water in the desert, rivers in the wasteland, for my chosen people to drink, the people I formed for myself, so that they would proclaim my praise. But you haven’t called on me, Ya‘akov; because you have grown weary of me, Isra’el.You have not brought me sheep for your burnt offerings, you have not honored me with your sacrifices. I didn’t burden you by requiring grain offerings. or weary you by demanding frankincense. You have not spent money to buy me sweet cane or filled me with the fat of your sacrifices. Instead, you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your crimes.I, yes I, am the one who blots out your offenses for my own sake; I will not remember your sins.Remind me when we’re in court together — tell your side, make the case that you are right.Your first father sinned, and your spokesmen rebelled against me.Therefore I repudiated the officials of the sanctuary, delivered Ya‘akov to the curse of destruction, and subjected Isra’el to scorn. For I am Adonai, your God, the Holy One of Isra’el, your Savior — I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and S’va for you.
but the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, because I am here announcing to you Good News that will bring great joy to all the people. This very day, in the town of David, there was born for you a Deliverer who is the Messiah, the Lord.
I don’t think the sufferings we are going through now are even worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us in the future.
Shout for joy to Adonai, all the earth! Break forth, sing for joy, sing praises!Sing praises to Adonai with the lyre, with the lyre and melodious music!
Let us continue holding fast to the hope we acknowledge, without wavering; for the One who made the promise is trustworthy.
But to as many as did receive him, to those who put their trust in his person and power, he gave the right to become children of God,not because of bloodline, physical impulse or human intention, but because of God.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some people think of slowness; on the contrary, he is patient with you; for it is not his purpose that anyone should be destroyed, but that everyone should turn from his sins.
To the upright he shines like a light in the dark, merciful, compassionate and righteous.Things go well with the person who is merciful and lends, who conducts his affairs with fairness;for he will never be moved. The righteous will be remembered forever. He will not be frightened by bad news; he remains steady, trusting in Adonai.
since he delivered us and called us to a life of holiness as his people. It was not because of our deeds, but because of his own purpose and the grace which he gave to us who are united with the Messiah Yeshua. He did this before the beginning of time,
And I am sure of this: that the One who began a good work among you will keep it growing until it is completed on the Day of the Messiah Yeshua.
For sin will not have authority over you; because you are not under legalism but under grace.
Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation! For forty years I loathed that generation; I said, ‘This is a people whose hearts go astray, they don’t understand how I do things.’Therefore I swore in my anger that they would not enter my rest.”Let’s come into his presence with thanksgiving; let’s shout for joy to him with songs of praise.
If we acknowledge our sins, then, since he is trustworthy and just, he will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.
We are waiting for Adonai; he is our help and shield. For in him our hearts rejoice, because we trust in his holy name.May your mercy, Adonai, be over us, because we put our hope in you.
Meanwhile, through trusting, you are being protected by God’s power for a deliverance ready to be revealed at the Last Time.
But let the righteous rejoice and be glad in God’s presence; yes, let them exult and rejoice.Sing to God, sing praises to his name; extol him who rides on the clouds by his name, Yah; and be glad in his presence.God in his holy dwelling, is a father to orphans and defender of widows.
and this hope does not let us down, because God’s love for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Ruach HaKodesh who has been given to us.
See what love the Father has lavished on us in letting us be called God’s children! For that is what we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it has not known him. Here is how one can distinguish clearly between God’s children and those of the Adversary: everyone who does not continue doing what is right is not from God. Likewise, anyone who fails to keep loving his brother is not from God.For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning: that we should love each otherand not be like Kayin, who was from the Evil One and murdered his own brother. Why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil, and his brother’s were righteous.Don’t be amazed, brothers, if the world hates you.We, for our part, know that we have passed from death to life because we keep loving the brothers. The person who fails to keep on loving is still under the power of death.Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.The way that we have come to know love is through his having laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers! If someone has worldly possessions and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how can he be loving God?Children, let us love not with words and talk, but with actions and in reality! Here is how we will know that we are from the truth and will set our hearts at rest in his presence:Dear friends, we are God’s children now; and it has not yet been made clear what we will become. We do know that when he appears, we will be like him; because we will see him as he really is.
There is salvation in no one else! For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by whom we must be saved!”
But God demonstrates his own love for us in that the Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners.
He rescued us from such deadly peril, and he will rescue us again! The one in whom we have placed our hope will indeed continue to rescue us.
So, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important that you obey now when I am away from you: keep working out your deliverance with fear and trembling, for God is the one working among you both the willing and the working for what pleases him.
For everything written in the past was written to teach us, so that with the encouragement of the Tanakh we might patiently hold on to our hope.
in order to extend the dominion and perpetuate the peace of the throne and kingdom of David, to secure it and sustain it through justice and righteousness henceforth and forever. The zeal of Adonai-Tzva’ot will accomplish this.Adonai sent a word to Ya‘akov, and it has fallen on Isra’el.
