Make me as happy as you did when you saved me; make me want to obey!

Yet in an even greater way, Jesus Christ alone brought God's gift of undeserved grace to many people.There is a lot of difference between Adam's sin and God's gift. That one sin led to punishment. But God's gift made it possible for us to be acceptable to him, even though we have sinned many times.Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has treated us with undeserved grace, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings.Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life.Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.Christ has also introduced us to God's gift of undeserved grace on which we now take our stand. So we are happy, as we look forward to sharing in the glory of God.

Our Lord, your mighty power makes the king glad, and he celebrates victories that you have given him.

I have told you this to make you as completely happy as I am.

but I will still celebrate because the Lord God is my Savior.

But don't be happy because evil spirits obey you. Be happy that your names are written in heaven!

and I will sing about you at the gate to Zion. I will be happy there because you rescued me.

You have not asked for anything in this way before, but now you must ask in my name. Then it will be given to you, so you will be completely happy.

Nehemiah told the people, “Enjoy your good food and wine and share some with those who didn't have anything to bring. Don't be sad! This is a special day for the Lord, and he will make you happy and strong.”

So, when you accepted the message, you followed our example and the example of the Lord. You suffered, but the Holy Spirit made you glad.

Let your worshipers celebrate and be glad because of you. They love your saving power, so let them always say, “God is wonderful!”

But the Lord's followers in Antioch were very happy and were filled with the Holy Spirit.

The people the Lord has rescued will come back singing as they enter Zion. Happiness will be a crown everyone will always wear. They will celebrate and shout because all sorrows and worries will be gone far away.

Be joyful and sing as you come in to worship the Lord!

You are the Lord's people. Obey him and celebrate! He deserves your praise.

May the Lord bless his people with peace and happiness and let them celebrate.

Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in time of trouble and never stop praying.

Let all who run to you for protection always sing joyful songs. Provide shelter for those who truly love you and let them rejoice.

They will always be my most prized possession and my source of joy.

You are kind, Lord, so good and merciful.You protect ordinary people, and when I was helpless, you saved meand treated me so kindly that I don't need to worry anymore.

God has also said he gave us eternal life and this life comes to us from his Son.And so, if we have God's Son, we have this life. But if we don't have the Son, we don't have this life.

We never give up. We must hold tightly to the hope we say is ours. After all, we can trust the one who made the agreement with us.

All who call out to the Lord will be saved.

Yet some people accepted him and put their faith in him. So he gave them the right to be the children of God.They were not God's children by nature or because of any human desires. God himself was the one who made them his children.

When I asked for your help, you answered my prayer and gave me courage.

God is the one who began this good work in you, and I am certain that he won't stop before it is complete on the day that Christ Jesus returns.

Don't let sin keep ruling your lives. You are ruled by God's undeserved grace and not by the Law.

Sing joyful songs to the Lord! Praise the mighty rock where we are safe.Then God got tired of them and said, “You never show good sense, and you don't understand what I want you to do.”In his anger, God told them, “You people will never enter my place of rest.”Come to worship him with thankful hearts and songs of praise.

But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away.

We depend on you, Lord, to help and protect us.You make our hearts glad because we trust you, the only God.Be kind and bless us! We depend on you.

You have faith in God, whose power will protect you until the last day. Then he will save you, just as he has always planned to do.

If you hate each other, you are murderers, and we know murderers do not have eternal life.We know what love is because Jesus gave his life for us. This is why we must give our lives for each other.If we have all we need and see one of our own people in need, we must have pity on that person, or else we cannot say we love God.Children, you show love for others by truly helping them, and not merely by talking about it.When we love others, we know we belong to the truth, and we feel at ease in the presence of God.My dear friends, we are already God's children, though what we will be hasn't yet been seen. But we do know when Christ returns, we will be like him, because we will see him as he truly is.

Our Lord, I will sing of your love forever. Everyone yet to be born will hear me praise your faithfulness.

Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only one in all the world that can save anyone.

But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful.

God saved us from the threat of death, and we are sure that he will do it again and again.

With all my heart, I am waiting, Lord, for you! I trust your promises.

My dear friends, you always obeyed when I was with you. Now that I am away, you should obey even more. So work with fear and trembling to discover what it really means to be saved.God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him.

And the Scriptures were written to teach and encourage us by giving us hope.

A child has been born for us. We have been given a son who will be our ruler. His names will be Wonderful Advisor and Mighty God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace.His power will never end; peace will last forever. He will rule David's kingdom and make it grow strong. He will always rule with honesty and justice. The Lord All-Powerful will make certain that all of this is done.
