Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.”

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does. If anyone thinks himself to be religious while not bridling his tongue but deceiving his own heart, this man’s religion is worthless. Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. knowing that the testing of your faith brings about perseverance.

When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.

through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
