I've found that God can turn my tears into dancing, replacing my pain with joy so that I can live with a happy heart. Life throws curveballs, no doubt, but I see those challenges as opportunities to lean on God, to truly know Him, and to live confidently in His powerful love.
So, I encourage you to smile. Laugh! Show whatever you're facing that you are more than a conqueror through Christ. Let joy fill you because of what the Lord is going to do in your life. Don't get bogged down in what's happening right now. Your joy will be restored, and you'll be able to laugh about the future because you have hope in the Lord, the One who lifts you up, sustains you, and never leaves your side.
Laugh, even if you're alone. Let your laughter ring out and confuse those things that try to bring you down. Even when things are tough, remember your Creator won't leave you on the ground. He'll lift you up, fight for you, give you victory, and help you break free from pain and fear.
You'll find your mouth filled with laughter, constantly praising His greatness, and your eyes will continue to see His goodness in this life.
The God who sits on his throne in heaven laughs. The Lord makes fun of those rulers and their plans.
You will laugh when things are being destroyed. You will enjoy life even when there isn’t enough food. You won’t be afraid of wild animals.
But the Lord laughs at those who do evil. He knows the day is coming when he will judge them.
Be full of sorrow. Cry and weep. Change your laughter to mourning. Change your joy to sadness.
Our mouths were filled with laughter. Our tongues sang with joy. Then the people of other nations said, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
So she laughed to herself. She thought, “I’m worn out, and my husband is old. Can I really know the joy of having a baby?”Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Blessed are you who are hungry now. You will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are sad now. You will laugh.
There is a time to weep. And there’s a time to laugh. There is a time to be sad. And there’s a time to dance.
So I will laugh at you when you are in danger. I will make fun of you when hard times come.
Not being able to figure things out is better than laughter. That’s because sorrow is good for the heart.
Those who do what is right will see it and learn a lesson from it. They will laugh at you and say,

A foolish person’s laughter is like the crackling of thorns burning under a pot. That doesn’t have any meaning either.

Those who go out weeping as they carry seeds to plant will come back singing with joy. They will bring the new crop back with them.
A person can’t do anything better than eat, drink and be satisfied with their work. I’m finally seeing that those things also come from the hand of God.
Sometimes God gives a person wealth and possessions. God makes it possible for that person to enjoy them. God helps them accept the life he has given them. God helps them to be happy in their work. All these things are gifts from God.Don’t be too quick to speak. Don’t be in a hurry to say anything to God. God is in heaven. You are on earth. So use only a few words when you speak.A person like that doesn’t have to think about how their life is going. That’s because God fills their heart with joy.
So I advise everyone to enjoy life. A person on this earth can’t do anything better than eat and drink and be glad. Then they will enjoy their work. They’ll be happy all the days of the life God has given them on earth.
Go and enjoy your food. Be joyful as you drink your wine. God has already approved what you do.Always wear white clothes to show you are happy. Anoint your head with olive oil.You love your wife. So enjoy life with her. Do it all the days of this meaningless life God has given you on earth. That’s what he made you for. That’s what you get for all your hard work on earth.
He wants me to help those in Zion who are filled with sorrow. I will put beautiful crowns on their heads in place of ashes. I will anoint them with olive oil to give them joy instead of sorrow. I will give them a spirit of praise in place of a spirit of sadness. They will be like oak trees that are strong and straight. The Lord himself will plant them in the land. That will show how glorious he is.
So be glad and full of joy forever because of what I will create. I will cause others to take delight in Jerusalem. They will be filled with joy when they see its people.And I will be full of joy because of Jerusalem. I will take delight in my people. Weeping and crying will not be heard there anymore.
The Lord your God is with you. He is the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you. In his love he will no longer punish you. Instead, he will sing for joy because of you.”
I have told you this so that you will have the same joy that I have. I also want your joy to be complete.
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask, and you will receive what you ask for. Then your joy will be complete.
“I am coming to you now. But I say these things while I am still in the world. I say them so that those you gave me can have the same joy that I have.
Give me back the joy that comes from being saved by you. Give me a spirit that obeys you so that I will keep going.

The cheerful look of a messenger brings joy to your heart. And good news gives health to your body.
When you do what is fair, you make godly people glad. But you terrify those who do what is evil.
Sinful people are trapped by their own sin. But godly people shout for joy and are glad.
People of Israel, he will save you. That will bring you joy like water brought up from wells.
Lord, you will make our nation larger. You will increase their joy. They will show you how glad they are. They will be as glad as people are at harvest time. They will be as glad as warriors are when they share the things they’ve taken after a battle.
When I received your words, I ate them. They filled me with joy. My heart took delight in them. Lord God who rules over all, I belong to you.
But may those who do what is right be glad and filled with joy when they are with him. May they be happy and joyful.
I tell you, it will be the same in heaven. There will be great joy when one sinner turns away from sin. Yes, there will be more joy than for 99 godly people who do not need to turn away from their sins.

What I’m about to tell you is true. You will weep and mourn while the world is full of joy. You will be sad, but your sadness will turn into joy.
Kind words are like honey. They are sweet to the spirit and bring healing to the body.
Those the Lord has saved will return to their land. They will sing as they enter the city of Zion. Joy that lasts forever will be like beautiful crowns on their heads. They will be filled with gladness and joy. Sorrow and sighing will be gone.
We are sad, but we are always full of joy. We are poor, but we make many people rich. We have nothing, but we own everything.
David was wearing a sacred linen apron. He danced in front of the Lord with all his might.He did it while he was bringing up the ark of the Lord. The whole community of Israel helped him bring it up. They shouted. They blew trumpets.The ark of the Lord was brought into the City of David. Saul’s daughter Michal was watching from a window. She saw King David leaping and dancing in front of the Lord. That made her hate him in her heart.
How terrible for you who are well fed now! You will go hungry. How terrible for you who laugh now! You will cry and be sad.
Then your face will glow with joy. Your heart will beat fast because you are so happy. Wealth from across the ocean will be brought to you. The riches of the nations will come to you.
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy some good food and sweet drinks. Send some of it to people who don’t have any. This day is holy to our Lord. So don’t be sad. The joy of the Lord makes you strong.”
Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds. He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus. God’s peace can never be completely understood.

But let all those who go to you for safety be glad. Let them always sing for joy. Spread your cover over them and keep them safe. Then those who love you will be glad because of you.
Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.Lead a life of love, just as Christ did. He loved us. He gave himself up for us. He was a sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God.Always give thanks to God the Father for everything. Give thanks to him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
