I've found that God can turn my tears into dancing, replacing my pain with joy so that I can live with a happy heart. Life throws curveballs, no doubt, but I see those challenges as opportunities to lean on God, to truly know Him, and to live confidently in His powerful love.

So, I encourage you to smile. Laugh! Show whatever you're facing that you are more than a conqueror through Christ. Let joy fill you because of what the Lord is going to do in your life. Don't get bogged down in what's happening right now. Your joy will be restored, and you'll be able to laugh about the future because you have hope in the Lord, the One who lifts you up, sustains you, and never leaves your side.

Laugh, even if you're alone. Let your laughter ring out and confuse those things that try to bring you down. Even when things are tough, remember your Creator won't leave you on the ground. He'll lift you up, fight for you, give you victory, and help you break free from pain and fear.

You'll find your mouth filled with laughter, constantly praising His greatness, and your eyes will continue to see His goodness in this life.

He will fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with happy shouting.

I thought, “Laughter doesn’t make any sense. What does pleasure accomplish?”

The one enthroned in heaven laughs. The Lord makes fun of them.

“You will be able to laugh at destruction and starvation, so do not be afraid of wild animals on the earth.

It considers clubs to be like stubble, and it laughs at a rattling javelin.

The Lord laughs at him because he has seen that his time is coming.

Be miserable, mourn, and cry. Turn your laughter into mourning and your joy into gloom.

Then our mouths were filled with laughter and our tongues with joyful songs. Then the nations said, “The Lord has done spectacular things for them.”

O Lord, you laugh at them. You make fun of all the nations.

And so Sarah laughed to herself, thinking, “Now that I’ve become old, will I enjoy myself again? Blessed are those who are hungry. They will be satisfied. Blessed are those who are crying. They will laugh.

I will laugh at your calamity. I will make fun of you when panic strikes you,

Sorrow is better than laughter because, in spite of a sad face, the heart can be joyful.

Righteous people will see ⌞this⌟ and be struck with fear. They will laugh at you and say,

Even while laughing a heart can ache, and joy can end in grief.

Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.

The laughter of a fool is like the crackling of thorns burning under a pot. Even this is pointless.

A joyful heart is good medicine, but depression drains one’s strength.

She dresses with strength and nobility, and she smiles at the future.

You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever.

Those who cry while they plant will joyfully sing while they harvest.

You will go out with joy and be led out in peace. The mountains and the hills will break into songs of joy in your presence, and all the trees will clap their hands.

Blessed are the people who have these blessings! Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!

You put more joy in my heart than when their grain and new wine increase.

The person who goes out weeping, carrying his bag of seed, will come home singing, carrying his bundles of grain.

There is nothing better for people to do than to eat, drink, and find satisfaction in their work. I saw that even this comes from the hand of God.

It is a gift from God when God gives some people wealth and possessions, the power to enjoy them, ⌞the ability⌟ to accept their lot in life, and ⌞the ability⌟ to rejoice in their own hard work.These people won’t give much thought to their brief lives because God keeps them occupied with the joy in their hearts.

So I recommend the enjoyment ⌞of life⌟. People have nothing better to do under the sun than to eat, drink, and enjoy themselves. This joy will stay with them while they work hard during their brief lives which God has given them under the sun.

Go, enjoy eating your food, and drink your wine cheerfully, because God has already accepted what you’ve done.Always wear clean clothes, and never go without lotion on your head.Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, during all your brief, pointless life. God has given you your pointless life under the sun. This is your lot ⌞in life⌟ and what you get for the hard work that you do under the sun.

⌞He has sent me⌟ to provide for all those who grieve in Zion, to give them crowns instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of ⌞tears of⌟ grief, and clothes of praise instead of a spirit of weakness. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the Plantings of the Lord, so that he might display his glory.

Be glad, and rejoice forever in what I’m going to create, because I’m going to create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people to be a joy.I will rejoice about Jerusalem and be glad about my people. Screaming and crying will no longer be heard in the city.

The Lord your God is with you. He is a hero who saves you. He happily rejoices over you, renews you with his love, and celebrates over you with shouts of joy.

Be happy with those who are happy. Be sad with those who are sad.

God’s kingdom does not consist of what a person eats or drinks. Rather, God’s kingdom consists of God’s approval and peace, as well as the joy that the Holy Spirit gives.

A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but with a heartache comes depression.

Every day is a terrible day for a miserable person, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast.

A twinkle in the eye delights the heart. Good news refreshes the body.

When justice is done, a righteous person is delighted, but troublemakers are terrified.

To an evil person sin is bait in a trap, but a righteous person runs away from it and is glad.

Always be joyful in the Lord! I’ll say it again: Be joyful!

The Lord rules as king. Let the earth rejoice. Let all the islands be joyful.

This is the day the Lord has made. Let’s rejoice and be glad today!

Serve the Lord cheerfully. Come into his presence with a joyful song.

The hope of righteous people ⌞leads to⌟ joy, but the eager waiting of wicked people comes to nothing.

With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation.

You will expand the nation and increase its happiness. It will be happy in your presence like those who celebrate the harvest or rejoice when dividing loot.

Rejoice then, and be very happy! You have a great reward in heaven. That’s the way their ancestors treated the prophets.

May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Although you have never seen Christ, you love him. You don’t see him now, but you believe in him. You are extremely happy with joy and praise that can hardly be expressed in words

We are writing this so that we can be completely filled with joy.

The people ransomed by the Lord will return. They will come to Zion singing with joy. Everlasting happiness will be on their heads ⌞as a crown⌟. They will be glad and joyful. They will have no sorrow or grief.

Meanwhile, the disciples ⌞in Antioch⌟ continued to be full of joy and the Holy Spirit.

People think we are sad although we’re always glad, that we’re beggars although we make many people spiritually rich, that we have nothing although we possess everything.

Do not be happy when your enemy falls, and do not feel glad when he stumbles.
