And not only that, but we also boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation works endurance;and endurance, experience; and experience, hope;and hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us:

Wherein ye exult, for a little while at present, if needed, put to grief by various trials,that the proving of your faith, much more precious than of gold which perishes, though it be proved by fire, be found to praise and glory and honour in the revelation of Jesus Christ:

For a moment is passed in his anger, a life in his favour; at even weeping cometh for the night, and at morn there is rejoicing.

Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice.

I will bless Jehovah at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

But we do know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose.

rejoice always;pray unceasingly;in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus towards you;

They that sow in tears shall reap with rejoicing:He goeth forth and weepeth, bearing seed for scattering; he cometh again with rejoicing, bearing his sheaves.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold upon me: thy commandments are my delights.

Blessed they who are persecuted on account of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.Blessed are ye when they may reproach and persecute you, and say every wicked thing against you, lying, for my sake.Rejoice and exult, for your reward is great in the heavens; for thus have they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.

strengthened with all power according to the might of his glory unto all endurance and longsuffering with joy;

A joyful heart promoteth healing; but a broken spirit drieth up the bones.

This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Only conduct yourselves worthily of the glad tidings of the Christ, in order that whether coming and seeing you, or absent, I may hear of what concerns you, that ye stand firm in one spirit, with one soul, labouring together in the same conflict with the faith of the glad tidings;and not frightened in anything by the opposers, which is to them a demonstration of destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God;

Jehovah hath done great things for us; and we are joyful.

Come to me, all ye who labour and are burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls;and said to him, Art thou the coming one? or are we to wait for another?for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.

As regards hope, rejoicing: as regards tribulation, enduring: as regards prayer, persevering:

A joyful heart maketh a cheerful countenance; but by sorrow of heart the spirit is broken.

My flesh and my heart faileth: God is the rock of my heart and my portion for ever.

In the day that I am afraid, I will confide in thee.In God will I praise his word, in God I put my confidence: I will not fear; what can flesh do unto me?

Oh let thy loving-kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

Beloved, take not as strange the fire of persecution which has taken place amongst you for your trial, as if a strange thing was happening to you;but as ye have share in the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, that in the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exultation.

In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me thy comforts have delighted my soul.

but they that wait upon Jehovah shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not tire; they shall walk, and not faint.

Does any one among you suffer evil? let him pray. Is any happy? let him sing psalms.

rejoice always;

I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. Let your conversation be without love of money, satisfied with your present circumstances; for he has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me?

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye should abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jehovah is nigh unto all that call upon him, unto all that call upon him in truth.

Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed is every one hanged upon a tree,)that the blessing of Abraham might come to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed to us.

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide until death.

and Jehovah will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and strengthen thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a water-spring, whose waters deceive not.

Thou, O Jehovah my God hast multiplied thy marvellous works, and thy thoughts toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee; would I declare and speak them, they are more than can be numbered.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassingness of the power may be of God, and not from us:every way afflicted, but not straitened; seeing no apparent issue, but our way not entirely shut up;persecuted, but not abandoned; cast down, but not destroyed;

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.

Let us approach therefore with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace for seasonable help.

having confidence of this very thing, that he who has begun in you a good work will complete it unto Jesus Christ's day:

My strength and song is Jah, and he is become my salvation.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing — forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,I pursue, looking towards the goal, for the prize of the calling on high of God in Christ Jesus.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved;

Blessed the people that is in such a case! Blessed the people whose God is Jehovah!

Confide in Jehovah with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own intelligence;in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will make plain thy paths.

Wait for Jehovah; be strong and let thy heart take courage: yea, wait for Jehovah.

Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
