In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season (if need be) ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though tried with fire, might be found to praise, and honor, and glory, at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

And we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yes, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

Trust in the LORD with all thy heart; and lean not to thy own understanding.In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will direct thy paths.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he will strengthen thy heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
