Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God.Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his natural face in a mirror;for he sees himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.But he who looks into the perfect Torah of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved in various trials,that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah—
For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Always rejoice.Pray without ceasing.In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Messiah Yeshua toward you.
Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,For they indeed for a few days disciplined us as seemed good to them, but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.Therefore lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,and make straight paths for your feet, so what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.“Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
Only let your way of life be worthy of the Good News of Messiah, that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;and in nothing frightened by the adversaries, which is for them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and that from God.
Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.
Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.and said to him, “Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?”For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant.
Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.But because you are partakers of Messiah’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.
I waited patiently for the LORD. He turned to me, and heard my cry.I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, LORD. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.Be pleased, LORD, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, LORD.Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let the LORD be exalted!”But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
but those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.

I will tell of all your marvelous works.Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion, and declare among the people what he has done.For he who avenges blood remembers them. Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Messiah Yeshua, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.
Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Messiah Yeshua, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
and the LORD will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.
Many, LORD, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can’t be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be counted.
But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves.We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;
He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Yeshua the Messiah.
But now the LORD who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel, says: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his commandments.The wicked will see it, and be grieved. He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away. The desire of the wicked will perish.His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
I will greatly rejoice in the LORD! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Yeshua the Messiah our Lord.
Cast your burden on the LORD and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Judge me, LORD, for I have walked in my integrity. Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind and stretching forward to the things which are before,I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Messiah Yeshua.
Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is the LORD.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
