Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.

Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been put to grief in various trials,that the genuineness of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ�

For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice!

He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH, that he may be glorified.

Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Trouble and anguish have taken hold of me. Your commandments are my delight.

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the Good News of Christ, that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;and in nothing frightened by the adversaries, which is for them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and that from God.

YHWH has done great things for us, and we are glad.

Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.

Therefore we do not faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. A glad heart makes a cheerful face; but an aching heart breaks the spirit.

My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant.

Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is YHWH.

Trust in YHWH with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Wait for YHWH. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for YHWH.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
