My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials,knowing that the testing of your faith works enduring patience.

And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction fully works patient endurance,and patient endurance fully works proven character; and proven character, hope.And the hope not puts to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, the One given to us;

in which you exult; yet a little while, if it is needful, having been grieved in many various kinds of trials,so that the testing of your faith, much more precious than perishing gold, but being tested through fire, may be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

For His anger is only a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure in the evening, but a ringing cry of joy comes in the morning.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice!

A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; and he drove him away, and he went. I will bless Jehovah at all times; His praise shall always be in my mouth.

And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. being empowered with all power according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joy;

A joyful heart makes good healing, but a stricken spirit dries the bones.

This is the day Jehovah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk in the fire, you shall not be burned, and not shall the flame kindle on you.

Jehovah also will be a refuge for oppressed ones, a refuge in times of distress.And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Jehovah, have not forsaken those who seek You.

Jehovah did great things to work with us; we are glad.

O my soul, why are you cast down? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for I yet thank Him for the salvations of my face and my God.

Be strong, and He will make your heart stronger, all you who hope in Jehovah.

But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,meekness, self-control. Against such things there is not a law.

in hope, rejoicing; in distress, enduring; in prayer, steadfastly continuing;

A joyful heart makes a good face, but by pain of heart the spirit is stricken.

My flesh and my heart waste away; God is the rock of my heart and my portion forever.

The day I am afraid I will trust in You.In God I will praise His Word; in God I have trusted; I will not fear; what will flesh do to me?

I pray, let Your mercy be for my comfort, by Your Word to Your servant.

I can do all things in Christ, the One strengthening me.

The expectation of the righteous ones is joyful, but the hope of the wicked ones shall perish.

But in all these things we are more than a conquerer through Him loving us.

It was good for me that I was afflicted, to learn Your statutes.

Not that I speak as to need, for I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.And I know to be humbled, and I know to abound; in everything, and in all things, I am taught both to be full and to hunger, both to abound, and to be in need.

But call to mind the former days in which having been enlightened you endured much struggle of sufferings.Indeed, this, being exposed both to reproaches and to afflictions; and this, having come to be sharer of the ones so living;for indeed you suffered together in my bonds; and you accepted the plunder of your possessions with joy, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession in Heaven.

Jehovah is near to all who call on Him, to all those who call on Him in truth.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not gaze about, for I am your God; I will make you strong; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

Many things have You done, O Jehovah my God; Your works of wonder and Your purposes toward us; there is none to set them in order to You; I will declare and I will speak; they are more than can be counted.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellence of the power may be of God, and not from us;in every way being pressed, but not being constricted; being perplexed, but not utterly despairing;being persecuted, but not being forsaken; being thrown down, but not perishing;

He shall call on Me and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in distress; I will rescue Him and honor Him.

Jehovah is my strength and my song; and He is my salvation.

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Cast on Jehovah that given to you, and He will keep you; He will not give shaking to the righteous ones forever.

For God did not give a spirit of cowardice to us, but of power and of love and of self-control.

Blessed are the peoples that are so; blessed are the peoples whose God is Jehovah!

Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Hope in Jehovah; be strong and He will make strong your heart; yea, hope in Jehovah!

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome the evil with good.
