Deem all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into various trials;Knowing that the proof of your faith works patience.
And not only, but also we boast in affliction: knowing that affliction works perseverance;And perseverance, proof; and proof, hope.And hope shames not; for the love of God has been poured in our hearts by the Holy Spirit given us.
By which ye are transported with joy, now for a little, (if it is necessary,) having grieved in various temptations:That the proof of your faith, much more precious than perishing gold, and being tried by fire, might be found to praise and honour and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ:

Trust to Jehovah with all thy heart; and thou shalt not lean to thine understanding.In all thy ways know him, and he will make straight thy paths.
