But not only that, let us also boast in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance,endurance produces character, and character produces hope;and this hope does not let us down, because God’s love for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Ruach HaKodesh who has been given to us.
Rejoice in this, even though for a little while you may have to experience grief in various trials.Even gold is tested for genuineness by fire. The purpose of these trials is so that your trust’s genuineness, which is far more valuable than perishable gold, will be judged worthy of praise, glory and honor at the revealing of Yeshua the Messiah.

Not that I am saying this to call attention to any need of mine; since, as far as I am concerned, I have learned to be content regardless of circumstances.I know what it is to be in want, and I know what it is to have more than enough — in everything and in every way I have learned the secret of being full and being hungry, of having abundance and being in need.

How blessed the man who trusts in Adonai and does not look to the arrogant or to those who rely on things that are false.
But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it will be evident that such overwhelming power comes from God and not from us.We have all kinds of troubles, but we are not crushed; we are perplexed, yet not in despair;persecuted, yet not abandoned; knocked down, yet not destroyed.

Brothers, I, for my part, do not think of myself as having yet gotten hold of it; but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind me and straining forward toward what lies ahead,I keep pursuing the goal in order to win the prize offered by God’s upward calling in the Messiah Yeshua.
How happy the people who live in such conditions! How happy the people whose God is Adonai!
Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him; then he will level your paths.
Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!
