Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,that the proof of your faith, {\i being} more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:

And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, {\i even} to them that are called according to {\i his} purpose.
Rejoice always;pray without ceasing;in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward.
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing seed for sowing,\par\tab Shall doubtless come again with joy, bringing his sheaves {\i with him}.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;{\i we are} pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair;pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him;\par\tab I will be with him in trouble:\par\tab I will deliver him, and honor him.
Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help {\i us} in time of need.\par
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, {\i even} our faith.

Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear:\par\tab What can man do unto me?Jehovah is on my side among them that help me:\par\tab Therefore shall I see {\i my desire} upon them that hate me.
And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof.\par
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;
If I take the wings of the morning,\par\tab And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;Even there shall thy hand lead me,\par\tab And thy right hand shall hold me.
Wherefore if any man is in Christ, {\i he is} a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, the new is come.

Brethren, I count not myself yet to have laid hold: but one thing {\i I do}, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before.I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Happy is the people that is in such a case;\par\tab {\i Yea}, happy is the people whose God is Jehovah.
Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,\par\tab And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him,\par\tab And he will direct thy paths.
Wait for Jehovah:\par\tab Be strong, and let thy heart take courage;\par\tab Yea, wait thou for Jehovah.\par
