Some folks picture God as sad, angry, or indifferent, but the truth is, He is majestic and overflowing with joy. His happiness doesn't depend on anything or anyone, and He's the only one who can truly give it to us.
Your happiness comes from God. Let's face it, there will always be reasons to cry, suffer, and feel discouraged. Yet, He's promised to be with us always, to the very end. As Jesus said, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20).
Happiness in God isn't just a feeling; it's about being accepted by Him, having a clean heart, and being free in His presence. Let's celebrate that amazing truth!
“My people, you will go out of Babylon with joy. You will be led out of it in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song as you go. And all the trees in the fields will clap their hands.
Blessed is the person who obeys the law of the Lord. They don’t follow the advice of evil people. They don’t make a habit of doing what sinners do. They don’t join those who make fun of the Lord and his law.Instead, the law of the Lord gives them joy. They think about his law day and night.That kind of person is like a tree that is planted near a stream of water. It always bears its fruit at the right time. Its leaves don’t dry up. You always show me the path of life. You will fill me with joy when I am with you. You will make me happy forever at your right hand.

All these things are gifts from God.Don’t be too quick to speak. Don’t be in a hurry to say anything to God. God is in heaven. You are on earth. So use only a few words when you speak.A person like that doesn’t have to think about how their life is going. That’s because God fills their heart with joy.
Go and enjoy your food. Be joyful as you drink your wine. God has already approved what you do.

A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so they may have life. I want them to have it in the fullest possible way.

Through faith in Jesus we have received God’s grace. In that grace we stand. We are full of joy because we expect to share in God’s glory.The law was given so that sin would increase. God’s kingdom is not about eating or drinking. It is about doing what is right and having peace and joy. All this comes through the Holy Spirit.
May the God who gives hope fill you with great joy. May you have perfect peace as you trust in him. May the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope.
I have spoken to you very honestly. I am very proud of you. I am very happy. Even with all our troubles, my joy has no limit.
But the fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful
If any of these things has happened to you, then agree with one another. Have the same love. Be one in spirit and in the way you think and act. By doing this, you will make my joy complete.

Further, my brothers and sisters, be joyful because you belong to the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write about some important matters to you again. If you know about them, you will have a safe path to follow.
Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds. He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus. God’s peace can never be completely understood.
We want you to be very strong, in keeping with his glorious power. We want you to be patient. We pray that you will never give up.
Let the message about Christ live among you like a rich treasure. Teach and correct one another wisely. Teach one another by singing psalms and hymns and songs from the Spirit. Sing to God with thanks in your hearts.
We and the Lord were your examples. You followed us. You welcomed our message even when you were suffering terribly. You welcomed it with the joy the Holy Spirit gives.
Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And he is the one who completes the journey of faith. He paid no attention to the shame of the cross. He suffered there because of the joy he was looking forward to. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
My brothers and sisters, you will face all kinds of trouble. When you do, think of it as pure joy.Human anger doesn’t produce the holy life God wants.So get rid of everything that is sinful. Get rid of the evil that is all around us. Don’t be too proud to accept the word that is planted in you. It can save you.Don’t just listen to the word. You fool yourselves if you do that. You must do what it says.Suppose someone listens to the word but doesn’t do what it says. Then they are like a person who looks at their face in a mirror.After looking at themselves, they leave. And right away they forget what they look like.But suppose someone takes a good look at the perfect law that gives freedom. And they keep looking at it. Suppose they don’t forget what they’ve heard, but they do what the law says. Then this person will be blessed in what they do.Suppose people think their beliefs and how they live are both right. But they don’t control what they say. Then they are fooling themselves. Their beliefs and way of life are not worth anything at all.Here are the beliefs and way of life that God our Father accepts as pure and without fault. When widows are in trouble, take care of them. Do the same for children who have no parents. And don’t let the world make you impure.Your faith will be tested. You know that when this happens it will produce in you the strength to continue.
Is anyone among you in trouble? Then that person should pray. Is anyone among you happy? Then that person should sing songs of praise.
Even though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not see him now, you believe in him. You are filled with a glorious joy that can’t be put into words.
Instead, be joyful that you are taking part in Christ’s sufferings. Then you will have even more joy when Christ returns in glory.
Be glad because of what the Lord has done for you. Be joyful, you who do what is right! Sing, all you whose hearts are honest!

Sinful people are trapped by their own sin. But godly people shout for joy and are glad.
