You aren't here by chance. God has placed something special inside you, which means there's an eternal purpose with your name on it, even before the world began. So, always remember that the one who called you is holding you up, the one who anointed you is empowering you and giving you the wisdom to act according to His will.
Always remember that God's call on your life is irrevocable. It says in 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." You carry a mark, a seal, that shows you are a child of God, chosen to show His glory and power.
So, walk with confidence knowing you're not alone and that the Holy Spirit is guiding you in every situation. Don't be afraid of what people might do to you. Speak what God tells you to speak and do everything He asks of you, because His presence will be with you.
The spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has chosen me. He has commissioned me to encourage the poor, to help the brokenhearted, to decree the release of captives, and the freeing of prisoners,
Is anyone among you ill? He should summon the elders of the church, and they should pray for him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.
The Lord spoke to Moses:“Take choice spices: twelve and a half pounds of free-flowing myrrh, half that – about six and a quarter pounds – of sweet-smelling cinnamon, six and a quarter pounds of sweet-smelling cane,and twelve and a half pounds of cassia, all weighed according to the sanctuary shekel, and four quarts of olive oil.You are to make this into a sacred anointing oil, a perfumed compound, the work of a perfumer.
