Forgiving others brings such freedom. It's like taking off a heavy backpack you've been carrying for way too long. There's a real beauty to forgiveness, and anyone who's experienced both giving and receiving it knows what I mean. God is our ultimate example, right? He shows us how it's done and calls us to practice it every single day.
So, I encourage you to forgive, just as Christ forgives you – every single day. It's time to let go and be free. Let's be real, in this life, someone is bound to hurt or offend you. But even then, we're called to learn to forgive and love again. Get that bitterness out of your system. Trust me, it'll help you grow and move forward. It'll even strengthen your relationship with God.
As children of God, we rejoice because we've received forgiveness for our sins through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. But it's important to remember that just as we've been forgiven, our hearts need to be ready to forgive others. Mark 11:251 says, "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." As long as we repent and are faithful in forgiving others, God will completely forgive us. And that's when we can truly have a fresh start!
“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
But “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing this, you will heap up coals of fire upon his head.”
For if you forgive people their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive people, neither will your Father forgive your sins.
Become kind toward one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as also God in Christ has forgiven you.
putting up with one another and forgiving one another. If anyone should have a complaint against anyone, just as also the Lord forgave you, thus also you do the same.
〚But Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”〛 And they cast lots to divide his clothes.

Pay back no one evil for evil. Take thought for what is good in the sight of all people.If it is possible on your part, be at peace with all people.
not repaying evil for evil or insult for insult, but on the other hand blessing others, because for this reason you were called, so that you could inherit a blessing.
While your enemies are falling, do not rejoice; when he trips himself, may your heart not be glad
If your enemy is hungry, feed him bread, and if thirsty, let him drink water.For coals of fire you will heap upon his head, and Yahweh will reward you.
but God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar, for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen is not able to love God whom he has not seen.And this is the commandment we have from him: that the one who loves God should love his brother also.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend expecting back nothing, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
“A new commandment I give to you: that you love one another—just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples—if you have love for one another.”
Love is patient, love is kind, love is not jealous, it does not boast, it does not become conceited,it does not behave dishonorably, it is not selfish, it does not become angry, it does not keep a record of wrongs,it does not rejoice at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth,bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Therefore become imitators of God, as beloved children,trying to learn what is well-pleasing to the Lord.And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them.For it is shameful even to speak about the things being done by them in secret,but all things exposed by the light are made visible,for everything made visible is light. Therefore it says, Wake up, sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.Therefore, consider carefully how you live, not as unwise but as wise,making the most of the time because the days are evil.Because of this do not become foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.And do not be drunk with wine (in which is dissipation), but be filled by the Spirit,speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and singing praise in your heart to the Lord,and live in love, just as also Christ loved us, and gave himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant smell.
Do not take revenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to God’s wrath, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
As far as east is from west, so he has removed far from us the guilt of our transgressions.
Above all, keep your love for one another constant, because love covers a large number of sins.

Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much.
Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.Take care that no one falls short of the grace of God; that no one growing up like a root of bitterness causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;
He who forgives an affront fosters love, but he who waits on a matter will alienate a friend.
“Be concerned about yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.On that day, whoever is on the housetop and his goods are in the house must not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field must not turn backRemember Lot’s wife!Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will keep it.I tell you that in that night there will be two in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.There will be two women grinding at the same place; one will be taken and the other will be left.”And they answered and said to him, “Where, Lord?” So he said to them, “Where the dead body is, there also the vultures will be gathered.”And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times he returns to you saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your sins.”
Therefore, as the chosen of God, holy and dearly loved, put on affection, compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience,putting up with one another and forgiving one another. If anyone should have a complaint against anyone, just as also the Lord forgave you, thus also you do the same.
The understanding of a person makes him slow to his anger, and his glory overlooks offense.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, and abundant in loyal love for all who call to you.
See to it that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue good toward one another and toward all people.
We have come to know love by this: that he laid down his life on behalf of us, and we ought to lay down our lives on behalf of the brothers.
Love does not commit evil against a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
When the ways of a man are pleasing to Yahweh, even his enemies he will cause to make peace with him.
Should you not also have shown mercy to your fellow slave as I also showed mercy to you?’
who when he was reviled, did not revile in return; when suffering, he did not threaten, but entrusted himself to the one who judges justly,
because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
And all these things are from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation,namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,and we being dead in trespasses, he made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are saved),
So also my heavenly Father will do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from your hearts!”
And the slave of the Lord must not quarrel, but be kind toward everyone, skillful in teaching, tolerant,correcting those who are opposed with gentleness, seeing whether perhaps God may grant them repentance to a knowledge of the truth,
“And do not judge, and you will never be judged. And do not condemn, and you will never be condemned. Pardon, and you will be pardoned.
For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, by much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
And when they persisted in asking him, straightening up he said to them, “The one of you without sin, let him throw the first stone at her!”
As for a fool, on that very day he makes his anger known, but he who ignores an insult is prudent.
Do nothing according to selfish ambition or according to empty conceit, but in humility considering one another better than yourselves,

But why do you judge your brother? Or also, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

Understand this, my dear brothers: every person must be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger,Consider it all joy, my brothers, whenever you encounter various trials,for human anger does not accomplish the righteousness of God.
in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace,
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his footsteps,who did not commit sin, nor was deceit found in his mouth,who when he was reviled, did not revile in return; when suffering, he did not threaten, but entrusted himself to the one who judges justly,
Therefore you are without excuse, O man, every one of you who passes judgment. For in that which you pass judgment on someone else, you condemn yourself, for you who are passing judgment are doing the same things.

and may the Lord cause you to increase and to abound in love for one another and for all, just as also we do for you,so that your hearts may be established blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
Therefore, I urge first of all that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgiving be made on behalf of all people,but with good deeds which are fitting for women who profess godliness.A woman must learn in quietness with all submission.But I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet.For Adam was formed first, then Eve,and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, because she was deceived, came into transgression.But she will be saved through the bearing of children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness with self-control.on behalf of kings and all those who are in authority, in order that we may live a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
For “The one who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips must not speak deceit.And he must turn away from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it.
Now to whomever you forgive anything, I also do; for indeed, whatever I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, it is for your sake in the presence of Christ,in order that we may not be exploited by Satan (for we are not ignorant of his schemes).
I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.
And the king will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me.’

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are pleasing, whatever things are commendable, if there is any excellence of character and if anything praiseworthy, think about these things.
And he answered and said, “You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
If then I—your Lord and Teacher—wash your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.For I have given you an example, that just as I have done for you, you also do.

Brotherly love must continue.We have an altar from which those who serve in the tabernacle do not have the right to eat.For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sins are burned up outside the camp.Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the gate, in order that he might sanctify the people by his own blood.So we must go out to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.For here we do not have a permanent city, but we seek the city that is to come.Therefore through him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.And do not neglect doing good and generosity, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with groaning, for this would be unprofitable for you.Pray for us, for we are convinced that we have a good conscience, and want to conduct ourselves commendably in every way.And I especially urge you to do this, so that I may be restored to you more quickly.Do not neglect hospitality, because through this some have received angels as guests without knowing it.
For the whole law is fulfilled in one statement, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God.
Finally, brothers, rejoice, be restored, be encouraged, be in agreement, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will affliction or distress or persecution or hunger or lack of sufficient clothing or danger or the sword?Just as it is written, “On account of you we are being put to death the whole day long; we are considered as sheep for slaughter.”No, but in all these things we prevail completely through the one who loved us.
My little children, I am writing these things to you in order that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous one,
Blessed are the ones who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they will be satisfied.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if by you the world is judged, are you unworthy of the most insignificant courts?For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God with your body.
Brothers, I do not consider myself to have laid hold of it. But I do one thing, forgetting the things behind and straining toward the things ahead,I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose,
and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, and that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
For judgment is merciless to the one who has not practiced mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
saying, “Father, if you are willing, take away this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will but yours be done.” 〚

For just as you presented your members as slaves to immorality and lawlessness, leading to lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, leading to sanctification.May it never be! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
convinced of this same thing, that the one who began a good work in you will finish it until the day of Christ Jesus,
that he may grant you according to the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith (you having been firmly rooted and established in love),

And this is the confidence that we have before him: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.
Yahweh is my shepherd; I will not lack for anything.In grassy pastures he makes me lie down; by quiet waters he leads me.He restores my life. He leads me in correct paths for the sake of his name.
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for sincere brotherly love, love one another fervently from the heart,
But seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
but set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense to anyone who asks you for an accounting concerning the hope that is in you.
And behold, they brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher, and when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Have courage, child, your sins are forgiven.”
so that you may live in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good deed and increasing in the knowledge of God,
We know that everyone who is fathered by God does not sin, but the one fathered by God, he protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
for you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live like children of light(for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

Trust Yahweh with all your heart; do not lean toward your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will straighten your paths.
Now I exhort you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all say the same thing and there not be divisions among you, and that you be made complete in the same mind and with the same purpose.
