Forgiving others brings such freedom. It's like taking off a heavy backpack you've been carrying for way too long. There's a real beauty to forgiveness, and anyone who's experienced both giving and receiving it knows what I mean. God is our ultimate example, right? He shows us how it's done and calls us to practice it every single day.
So, I encourage you to forgive, just as Christ forgives you – every single day. It's time to let go and be free. Let's be real, in this life, someone is bound to hurt or offend you. But even then, we're called to learn to forgive and love again. Get that bitterness out of your system. Trust me, it'll help you grow and move forward. It'll even strengthen your relationship with God.
As children of God, we rejoice because we've received forgiveness for our sins through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. But it's important to remember that just as we've been forgiven, our hearts need to be ready to forgive others. Mark 11:251 says, "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." As long as we repent and are faithful in forgiving others, God will completely forgive us. And that's when we can truly have a fresh start!
but I say to you, Love your enemies; bless those cursing you, do well to those hating you; and pray for those abusing and persecuting you,
But I say to you, the ones hearing: Love the hostile ones of you, do well to the ones hating you.,bless those cursing you and pray for those insulting you.
Then “if a hostile one to you hungers, feed him; if he thirsts, give him drink; for doing this you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Prov. 25:21, 22
For if you forgive men their deviations, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you will not forgive men their deviations, neither will your Father forgive your deviations.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, having forgiven one another, even as also God forgave you in Christ.
bearing with one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also you should forgive.
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And dividing His garments, they cast a lot. Psa. 22:18
Then coming near to Him, Peter said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Up to seven times, but, Up to seventy times seven.
returning evil for evil to no one; considering beforehand good things before all men. Prov. 3:4If possible, from you being in peace with all men;
not giving back evil for evil, or reviling against reviling; but, on the contrary, give blessing; knowing that you were called to this in order that you might inherit blessing.
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles,
If one hating you is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink,for you shall heap coals of fire on his head, and Jehovah shall reward you.
If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love God whom he has not seen?And we have this commandment from Him, that the one who loves God also loves his brother.
But love the ones hostile to you, and do good, and lend, causing no one to despair, and your reward will be much; and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil ones.
I give a new commandment to you, that you should love one another; according as I loved you, you should also love one another.By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love among one another.
Love patiently endures, is kind; love is not envious; love boasts not itself, is not puffed up;does not behave unbecomingly, does not seek the things of itself, is not easily provoked, does not impute evil;does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth.Love quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Therefore become imitators of God, as beloved children,and walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a fragrance of a sweet smell.
not avenging yourselves, beloved, but giving place to wrath, for it has been written, “Vengeance is Mine,” “I will repay,” says the Lord. Deut. 32:35
but before all things having fervent love to yourselves, “because love will cover a multitude of sins”. Prov. 10:12
Let all bitterness, and anger, and wrath, and tumult, and evil speaking be put away from you, along with all malice.And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, having forgiven one another, even as also God forgave you in Christ.
You have heard that it was said: “An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth;” Ex. 21:24; Lev. 24:20; Deut. 19:21but I say to you, Do not resist the evil; but whoever strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other to him also.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins, and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Confess to one another the deviations from the Law, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; being very strong, the prayer of a righteous one works effectually.
Eagerly pursue peace and holiness with all, without which no one will see the Lord,watching diligently that not any lack from the grace of God, that “no root of bitterness growing up” may crowd “in on you,” and through this many be defiled; Deut. 29:18
One who covers a transgression seeks love, but one repeating a matter separates from a friend.
Take heed to yourselves. And if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.And if seven times in the day he sins against you, and seven times in the day returns to you saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.
And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive it, so that your Father in Heaven may also forgive your deviations.
Therefore, as elect ones of God, holy and beloved, put on bowels of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, long-suffering,bearing with one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also you should forgive.
The discretion of a man makes his anger long, and his glory is to pass over a transgression.
in brotherly love toward one another, loving tenderly, going before one another in honor;
Do not judge, that you may not be judged;for with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured again to you.
See that not any one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all.
By this we have known the love of God, because that One laid down His life for us; and on behalf of the brothers we ought to lay down our lives.
There is therefore now no condemnation to the ones in Christ Jesus, not walking according to flesh, but according to Spirit.
who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, He did not threaten, but gave Himself over to the One judging righteously;
because our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the worldrulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenlies.
And all things are from God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation,as, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not charging their deviations to them, and putting the Word of reconciliation in us.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even we being dead in deviations, He made us alive together with Christ; by grace you are having been saved,
“and their sins and their lawlessnesses I will not remember no longer, not ever.” MT-Jer. 31:33, 34
So also My heavenly Father will do to you unless each of you from your hearts forgive his brother their deviations.
But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,in meekness instructing the ones opposing, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth,
Judge not, and not be judged, not ever. Do not condemn, and not you will be condemned, not ever. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
For if while being hostile ones we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life;
But as they continued questioning Him, bending back up, He said to them, The one among you without sin let him cast a stone at her first.
doing nothing according to intrigue or self-glory, but in humility, esteeming one another, as being better than themselves;
and we labor, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; persecuted, we bear;
But why do you judge your brother? Or why, also, do you despise your brother? For all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and I will not at all remember their sins and their lawlessnesses.” LXX-Jer. 38:31-34; MT-Jer. 31:31-34
Brothers, if a man is taken in some deviation, you, the spiritual ones, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, that you not also be tempted.
But going, learn what this is, “I desire mercy and not sacrifice.” For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6
but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the head, the Christ,
But now, you also, put off all these things: wrath, anger, malice, foul-speaking, shameful speech out of your mouth.
The good man brings forth the good thing out of the good treasure of his heart. And the evil man brings forth the evil thing out of the evil treasure of his heart, for his mouth speaks out of the abundance of his heart.
The one claiming to be in the light, and hating his brother, is in the darkness until now.The one loving his brother rests in the light, and a cause of stumbling is not in him.But the one hating his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness blinded his eyes.
The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing any to perish, but all to turn one’s self to repentance.
So therefore let us pursue the things of peace, and the things for building up one another.
So that, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.For the wrath of man does not fully work the righteousness of God.
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of deviations, according to the riches of His grace
For you were called to this, for even Christ suffered on our behalf, leaving behind an example for us, that you should follow His footsteps;“who did not sin, nor was guile found in His mouth”; Isa. 53:9who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, He did not threaten, but gave Himself over to the One judging righteously;
Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, every one judging, for in that in which you judge the other, you condemn yourself; for you, the one judging, practice the same things.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
And may the Lord make you to increase and to abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we do also toward you,in order to establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and our Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
First of all therefore, I exhort that petitions, prayers, supplications, and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men,for kings and all the ones being in preeminence, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
“For the one desiring to love life, and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, even his lips not to speak deceit.Let him turn aside from evil, and let him do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it;
But to whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For also if I have forgiven anything, of whom I have forgiven it, it is for you, in Christ’s person,so that we should not be deceitfully coveted by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his designs.
I say to you that so is joy in Heaven over one sinner repenting, than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.
And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, In so far as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.
But we, the powerful ones, ought to bear the weaknesses of the ones not powerful, and not to please ourselves.For let each one of us please his neighbor for good, to building up.
For the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are right, as many as are pure, as many as are pleasing, as many as are of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, meditate on these things.
And answering, he said, “You shall love the Lord your God out of all your heart, and out of all your soul, and out of all your strength,” and out of all your mind, and “your neighbor as yourself.” Deut. 6:5; Lev. 19:18
Therefore if I washed your feet, the Lord and the Teacher, you also ought to wash the feet of one another.For I gave you an example, that as I did to you, you also should do.
So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven.
Likewise, younger ones be subject to older ones; and all being subject to one another. gird on humility, because God sets Himself “against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones”. Prov. 3:34Therefore, be humbled under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in time;
Let brotherly love abide.Do not forget hospitality, for by this some unknowingly took in angels as guests.
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Lev. 19:18
Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is from God, and every one who loves has been generated from God, and knows God.
For the rest, brothers, rejoice! Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves, think the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and of peace will be with you.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?Even as it is written, “For Your sake we are killed all the day; we are counted as sheep of slaughter.” Psa. 44:22But in all these things we are more than a conquerer through Him loving us.
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God, and you are not of yourselves?You were bought with a price; then glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are of God.
Brothers, I do not count myself to have laid hold, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind, and stretching out for the things before,I am pursuing a goal for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.
But we know that to the ones loving God all things work together for good, to the ones being called out ones according to purpose;
I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live in faith in the Son of God, the One loving me and giving Himself over on my behalf.
For judgment will be without mercy to the one not doing mercy. And mercy rejoices over judgment.
saying, Father, if You purpose it, take away this cup from Me; but let not be My will, but Yours be done.
So therefore we also, having so great a cloud of witnesses lying around us, having laid aside every weight and the easily surrounding sin, through patience let us also run the race being set before us,looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, “and has sat down at the right hand” of the throne of God.”
What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?Let it not be! We who died to sin, how shall we still live in it?
being persuaded of this very thing, that the One having begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
that He may give you, according to the riches of His glory, by His power to be empowerd in the inward man through His Spirit,that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,
Which, therefore, of these three seems to you to have become a neighbor to the one having fallen among the plunderers?And he said, The one doing the deed of mercy with him. Then Jesus said to him, Go, and you do likewise.
For He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt becomes tasteless, with what shall it be salted? For it has strength for nothing any more but to be thrown out and to be trampled under by men.You are the light of the world. A city situated on a mountain cannot be hidden.
I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.For the rest, the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, and not only to me, but also to all the ones loving His appearance.
And this is the confidence we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have requested from Him.
A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not lack.He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me to waters of rest;He restores my soul; He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.
but sanctify” the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to speak in defense to every one asking you a word about the hope in you, with meekness and fear, Isa. 8:12, 13
And, behold! They were bringing a paralytic lying on a cot to Him. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed one, Have courage, child. Your sins have been remitted.
for you to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;
We know that every one having been generated from God does not sin, but the one being generated from God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
for you then were darkness, but are now light in the Lord; walk as children of light.For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction fully works patient endurance,and patient endurance fully works proven character; and proven character, hope.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, the One giving to all bountifully and not reproaching, and it will be given to Him.
And my God will fill your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Peace I leave to you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives I give to you. Let not your heart be agitated, nor let it be fearful.
Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding;in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you all say the same, and there be no schisms among you, but you be restored to harmony, in the same mind and in the same judgment.
