Forgiving others brings such freedom. It's like taking off a heavy backpack you've been carrying for way too long. There's a real beauty to forgiveness, and anyone who's experienced both giving and receiving it knows what I mean. God is our ultimate example, right? He shows us how it's done and calls us to practice it every single day.
So, I encourage you to forgive, just as Christ forgives you – every single day. It's time to let go and be free. Let's be real, in this life, someone is bound to hurt or offend you. But even then, we're called to learn to forgive and love again. Get that bitterness out of your system. Trust me, it'll help you grow and move forward. It'll even strengthen your relationship with God.
As children of God, we rejoice because we've received forgiveness for our sins through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. But it's important to remember that just as we've been forgiven, our hearts need to be ready to forgive others. Mark 11:251 says, "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses." As long as we repent and are faithful in forgiving others, God will completely forgive us. And that's when we can truly have a fresh start!
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you,
“But I say to you who are hearing: Love your enemies, do good to those hating you.“Bless those cursing you, and pray for those insulting you.
“Instead, if your enemy hungers, feed him; if he thirsts, give him a drink, for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.”
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father shall also forgive you.“But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall your Father forgive your trespasses.
And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against another, indeed, as Messiah forgave you so also should you.
And יהושע said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.
Then Kĕיהושע said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is right in the sight of all men.If possible, on your part, be at peace with all men.
not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, in order to inherit a blessing.
If your enemy is hungry give him bread to eat, And if he is thirsty give him water to drink,For you are heaping coals of fire on his head, And יהוה rewards you.
But Elohim proves His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Messiah died for us.
If someone says, “I love Elohim,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love Elohim whom he has not seen? And we have this command from Him, that the one loving Elohim should love his brother too.
“Rather, love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting none in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be sons of the Most High. Because He is kind to the thankless and wicked ones.
“A renewed command I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another.“By this shall all know that you are My taught ones, if you have love for one another.”
Love is patient, is kind, love does not envy, love does not boast, is not puffed up,does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not provoked, reckons not the evil, does not rejoice over the unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth,it covers all, believes all, expects all, endures all.
Become, then, imitators of Elohim as beloved children. And walk in love, as Messiah also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to Elohim for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Beloved, do not revenge yourselves, but give place to the wrath, for it has been written, “Vengeance is Mine, I shall repay,” says יהוה.
And above all have fervent love for one another, because love covers a great number of sins.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil. And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.
“You heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth,’but I say to you, do not resist the wicked. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.
If we confess our sins, He is trustworthy and righteous to forgive us the sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, so that you are healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous one accomplishes much.
Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall see the Master.See to it that no one falls short of the favour of Elohim, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, by which many become defiled,
He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates intimate friends.
“Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.“And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day comes back to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
“And whenever you stand praying, if you hold whatever against anyone, forgive, so that your Father in the heavens shall also forgive you your trespasses.
Therefore, as chosen ones of Elohim, set-apart and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against another, indeed, as Messiah forgave you so also should you.
A man’s discretion makes him patient, And his adorning is to pass over a transgression.
In brotherly love, tenderly loving towards one another, in appreciation, giving preference to each other;
“Do not judge, lest you be judged.“For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged. And with the same measure you use, it shall be measured to you.
For You, יהוה, are good, and ready to forgive, And great in kindness to all those who call upon You.
See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
By this we have known love, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
There is, then, now no condemnation to those who are in Messiah יהושע, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
‘Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, as I also had compassion on you?’
who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual matters of wickedness in the heavenlies.
And all matters are from Elohim, who has restored us to favour with Himself through יהושע Messiah, and has given us the service of restoration to favour, that is, that Elohim was in Messiah restoring the world to favour unto Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of restoration to favour.
But Elohim, who is rich in compassion, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Messiah – by favour you have been saved –
“So also My heavenly Father shall do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”
And a servant of the Master should not quarrel but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient when wronged,in meekness instructing those who are in opposition, lest somehow Elohim gives them repentance unto a thorough knowledge of the truth,
“And do not judge, and you shall not be judged at all. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned at all. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
For if, being enemies, we were restored to favour with Elohim through the death of His Son, much more, having been restored to favour, we shall be saved by His life.
But as they kept on questioning Him, He straightened up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”
doing none at all through selfishness or self-conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
and labour, working with our own hands. Being cursed, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer;
But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Messiah.
“Because I shall forgive their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall no longer remember.”
Brothers, if a man is overtaken in some trespass, you the spiritual ones, set such a one straight in a spirit of meekness, looking at yourself lest you be tried too.
“But go and learn what this means, ‘I desire compassion and not offering.’ For I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.”
but, maintaining the truth in love, we grow up in all respects into Him who is the head, Messiah,
But now, also put off all these: displeasure, wrath, evil, blasphemy, filthy talk from your mouth.
“The good man brings forth what is good out of the good treasure of his heart, and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked out of the wicked treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart his mouth speaks.
The one who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in the darkness until now.The one who loves his brother stays in the light, and there is no stumbling-block in him.But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
יהוה is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
So, then, let us pursue the matters of peace and the matters for building up one another.
So then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of Elohim.
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His favour,
For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps,“who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth,”who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in which you judge another you condemn yourself, since you who judge practise the same wrongs.
“See, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
And the Master make you increase and overflow in love to each other and to all, as we also do to you,to establish your hearts blameless in set-apartness before our Elohim and Father at the coming of our Master יהושע Messiah with all His set-apart ones!
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all men,for sovereigns and all those who are in authority, in order that we lead a calm and peaceable life in all reverence and seriousness.
For “He who wishes to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit, let him turn away from evil and do good, let him seek peace and pursue it.
And whom you forgive any matter, I do also. For indeed, if I have forgiven any matter, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the sight of Messiah, lest Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his thoughts.
“I say to you that in the same way there shall be more joy in the heaven over one sinner repenting, than over ninety-nine righteous ones who need no repentance.
“And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’
But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.Let each one of us please his neighbour for his good, to build him up.
For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is righteous, whatever is clean, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any uprightness and if there is any praise – think on these.
And he answering, said, “ ‘You shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbour as yourself.’ ”
“Then if I, Master and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.“For I gave you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
“Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.
In the same way, you younger ones, be subject to elders. And gird yourselves with humility toward one another, for “Elohim resists the proud, but gives favour to the humble.”Humble yourselves, then, under the mighty hand of Elohim, so that He exalts you in due time,
Let the brotherly love continue.Do not forget to receive strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained messengers.
For the entire Torah is completed in one word, in this, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”
Beloved ones, let us love one another, because love is of Elohim, and everyone who loves has been born of Elohim, and knows Elohim.
For the rest, brothers, rejoice. Be made perfect, be encouraged, be of one mind, live in peace. And the Elohim of love and peace shall be with you.
Who shall separate us from the love of the Messiah? Shall pressure, or distress, or persecution, or scarcity of food, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it has been written, “For Your sake we are killed all day long, we are reckoned as sheep of slaughter.”But in all this we are more than overcomers through Him who loved us.
My little children, I write this to you, so that you do not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, יהושע Messiah, a righteous One.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they shall be filled.
Or do you not know that your body is the Dwelling Place of the Set-apart Spirit who is in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are not your own?For you were bought with a price, therefore esteem Elohim in your body and in your spirit, which are of Elohim.
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, When it is in the power of your hand to do so.
Brothers, I do not count myself to have laid hold of it yet, but only this: forgetting what is behind and reaching out for what lies ahead,I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of Elohim in Messiah יהושע.
And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to His purpose.
“I have been impaled with Messiah, and I no longer live, but Messiah lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh I live by belief in the Son of Elohim, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
For the judgment is without compassion to the one who has shown no compassion. And compassion boasts over judgment.
saying, “Father, if it be Your counsel, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My desire, but let Yours be done.”
We too, then, having so great a cloud of witnesses all around us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race set before us,looking to the Princely Leader and Perfecter of our belief, יהושע, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.
What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favour increase?Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
being persuaded of this, that He who has begun a good work in you shall perfect it until the day of יהושע Messiah.
in order that He might give you, according to the riches of His esteem by power, to be strengthened in the inner man, through His Spirit, that the Messiah might dwell in your hearts through belief – having become rooted and grounded in love,
“Who, then, of these three, do you think, was neighbour to him who fell among the robbers?”And he said, “He who showed compassion on him.” Then יהושע said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim.
“You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt becomes tasteless, how shall it be seasoned? For it is no longer of any use but to be thrown out and to be trodden down by men.“You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have guarded the belief. For the rest, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing.
And this is the boldness that we have in Him, that if we ask whatever according to His desire, He hears us.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
יהוה is my shepherd; I do not lack.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He turns back my being; He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake.
Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart,
“But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you.
for it is Elohim who is working in you both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.
But set apart יהוה Elohim in your hearts, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone asking you a reason concerning the expectation that is in you, with meekness and fear,
And see, they were bringing to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And יהושע, seeing their belief, said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son, your sins have been forgiven.”
to walk worthily of the Master, pleasing all, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Elohim,
We know that everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin, but the one having been born of Elohim guards himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Master. Walk as children of light –for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth –
And not only this, but we also exult in pressures, knowing that pressure works endurance;and endurance, approvedness; and approvedness, expectation.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.
And my Elohim shall fill all your need according to His riches in esteem by Messiah יהושע.
“Peace I leave with you – My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Trust in יהוה with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;Know Him in all your ways, And He makes all your paths straight.
And I appeal to you, brothers, by the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah, that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be knit together in the same mind and in the same opinion.
