If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Who is a God like to you, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retains not his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy.He will turn again, he will have compassion on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember your sins.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do you.
I acknowledge my sin to you, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all them that call on you.
Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
If you, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving kindness: according to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
Why I say to you, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to your mercy remember you me for your goodness' sake, O LORD.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
But now thus said the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.
And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
My little children, these things write I to you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return to me; for I have redeemed you.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?Jesus said to him, I say not to you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Brothers, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now on we should not serve sin.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed on me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Truly, truly, I say to you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Why seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
Cast your burden on the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are your works; and that my soul knows right well.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted of God.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding.In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
For whatever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead:
Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Why gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
