But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Messiah forgave you.
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Messiah forgave you, so you also do.
If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil;
not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat. If he is thirsty, give him water to drink;for you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the LORD will reward you.
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger;Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God.
“But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.
And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.
He who covers an offense promotes love; but he who repeats a matter separates best friends.
See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the Torah and the Prophets.
Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed. In that day, he who will be on the housetop and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.Remember Lot’s wife!Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. One will be taken and the other will be left. There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken and the other will be left.”They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger. It is his glory to overlook an offense.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”Yeshua said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.
Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light. Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you.”Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;Walk in love, even as Messiah also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Yeshua said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots.
For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
So then, let’s follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.
Now I also forgive whomever you forgive anything. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Messiah, that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.
Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide. The wicked watch the righteous, and seek to kill him.The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.Wait for the LORD, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.I have seen the wicked in great power, spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil. But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble. Also delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord, looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,
In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another,
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
Putting away therefore all wickedness, all deceit, hypocrisies, envies, and all evil speaking,
The merciful man does good to his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love,But you didn’t learn Messiah that way,if indeed you heard him and were taught in him, even as truth is in Yeshua:that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth. Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil.Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The LORD is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving kindness. The LORD is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works.
For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another.
Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;
“Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.Or if he asks for a fish, who will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the Torah and the Prophets.“Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it.How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles?Even so, every good tree produces good fruit, but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.A good tree can’t produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.Every tree that doesn’t grow good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.
For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another—
Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;because for the work of Messiah he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.
When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.
Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer, contributing to the needs of the holy ones, and given to hospitality.Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men.If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
He who spares his words has knowledge. He who is even tempered is a man of understanding.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise. When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning.
Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this:he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.”
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Messiah Yeshua.
that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
“If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
A brother offended is more difficult than a fortified city. Disputes are like the bars of a fortress.
Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.
By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Messiah forgave you.
Cast your burden on the LORD and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Yeshua said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’This is the first and great commandment.A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.
Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace.
Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Messiah Yeshua, that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.
But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”
Do all things without complaining and arguing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
