But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you,
not avenging yourselves, beloved, but giving place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord."Therefore if your enemy hungers, feed him. If he thirsts, give him drink. For in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and tumult and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
forbearing one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any. As Christ forgave you, so also you do.
If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if he does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And we have this commandment from Him, that he who loves God should love his brother also.
Charity has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up;does not behave indecently, does not seek her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil.
Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Repay no one evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.If it is possible, as far as is in you, being in peace with all men.
But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for you shall heap coals of fire upon his head, and Jehovah shall reward you.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. For the wrath of man does not work out the righteousness of God.
But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you.
Everyone hating his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him.
And above all things have fervent love to yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins.
He who covers a transgression seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates friends.
See that none gives evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all.
But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Finally, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think on these things.
Therefore all things, whatever you desire that men should do to you, do even so to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.The one who does not love has not known God. For God is love.
Take heed to yourselves. If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him. And if he repents, forgive him.And if he trespasses against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turns again to you, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him.
And hope does not make us ashamed, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.
He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit is better than he who takes a city.
But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Charity does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
The judgment of a man puts off his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another.By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another.
Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times?Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.
Therefore, I desire that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all those who call on You.
Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
Therefore be followers of God, as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. And parting His clothing, they cast lots.
Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and rich in mercy. He will not always chasten, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For he who has shown no mercy shall have judgment without mercy, and mercy exults over judgment.
But to whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if I forgave anything, for your sakes I forgave it to him in the person of Christ;so that we should not be overreached by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Trust in Jehovah, and do good; you shall dwell in the land, and you shall be fed on truth.Delight yourself also in Jehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;looking diligently lest any fail of the grace of God, or lest any root of bitterness springing up disturb you, and by it many are defiled,
He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness until now.He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no offense in him.But he who hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because darkness has blinded his eyes.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called in one body, and be thankful.
Therefore laying aside all malice and all guile and hypocrisies and envyings, and all evil speakings,
The merciful man does good to his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.
He who is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he who is hasty of spirit exalts folly.
with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
And now faith, hope, charity, these three remain; but the greatest of these is charity.
And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
But regarding brotherly love, you do not need that I write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another. And indeed you do it toward all the brothers who are in all Macedonia. But we beseech you, brothers, that you abound more and more,
Jehovah is gracious and full of pity; slow to anger, and of great mercy.Jehovah is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.
For he that wants to love life and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile.Let him turn aside from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.
For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you are not consumed by one another.
Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect of need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing.
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering,
Judge not, that you may not be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with whatever measure you measure out, it shall be measured to you again.
For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;
Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges; for in that in which you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.Do not let each man look upon his own things, but each man also on the things of others.
And answering, he said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts, and see if any wicked way is in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves another has fulfilled the Law.
Therefore putting away lying, let each man speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile.Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
who when He was reviled did not revile in return. When He suffered, He did not threaten, but gave Himself up to Him who judges righteously.
I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
He who has knowledge uses few words; a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.Even a fool, when he is silent, is counted wise, and he who shuts his lips is counted as a man of understanding.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Perfect yourselves; encourage yourselves; mind the same thing; be at peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits to see if they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Roll your way on Jehovah; trust also in Him, and He will work. And He shall bring forth your righteousness like the light, and your judgment like the noonday.
But as they continued to ask Him, He lifted Himself up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
that there not be division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it.
and let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
But if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
A Song of degrees; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!
And above all things have fervent love to yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins.Be hospitable to one another, without grudging;
A brother offended is like a strong city; and their disagreements are like the bars of a fortress.
Trust in Him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before Him; God is a hiding-place for us. Selah.
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he trusts in You.
By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
Then we who are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
He comforting us in all our trouble, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in every trouble, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
Cast your burden on Jehovah, and He will keep you; He will never allow the righteous to waver.
Let your way of life be without the love of money, and be content with such things as you have, for He has said, "Not at all will I leave you, not at all will I forsake you, never!"so that we may boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me."
Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much.
Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Now we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are unruly, comfort the faint-hearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.
Deceit is in the heart of those who imagine evil, but to counselors of peace there is joy.
And may the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded toward one another according to Christ Jesus,so that with one mind and one mouth you may glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
For He is our peace, He making us both one, and He has broken down the middle wall of partition between us,
And He said to them, Watch and keep yourselves from covetousness. For a man's life is not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings,so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these you shine as lights in the world,
By this we bless God, even the Father. And by this we curse men, who have come into being according to the image of God.Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Let your speech be always with grace, having been seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
But you, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Watch and pray that you enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
So then as we have time, let us work good toward all, especially toward those of the household of faith.
And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.Therefore I am pleased in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am powerful.
I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.
