Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and railing, be put away from you, with all malice:and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you.\par

forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, cannot love God whom he hath not seen.And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.\par

Hatred stirreth up strifes;\par\tab But love covereth all transgressions.

Love suffereth long, {\i and} is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;

not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if ye forgive not men {\i their trespasses}, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.\par

Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men.If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men.

A soft answer turneth away wrath;\par\tab But a grievous word stirreth up anger.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

Ye know {\i this}, my beloved brethren. But let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.\par

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;\par\tab And he that ruleth his spirit, than he that taketh a city.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.And {\i the} fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.\par

rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

The discretion of a man maketh him slow to anger;\par\tab And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

A wrathful man stirreth up contention;\par\tab But he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

I desire therefore that the men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and disputing.

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive,\par\tab And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.

Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.\par

And Jesus said, {\cf6 Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.} And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious,\par\tab Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.He will not always chide;\par\tab Neither will he keep {\i his anger} for ever.He hath not dealt with us after our sins,\par\tab Nor rewarded us after our iniquities.

For judgment {\i is} without mercy to him that hath showed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment.\par

So then let us follow after things which make for peace, and things whereby we may edify one another.

But to whom ye forgive anything, I {\i forgive} also: for what I also have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, for your sakes {\i have I forgiven it} in the presence of Christ;that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his devices.\par

Trust in Jehovah, and do good;\par\tab Dwell in the land, and feed on {\i his} faithfulness.Delight thyself also in Jehovah;\par\tab And he will give thee the desires of thy heart.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,\par\tab And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him,\par\tab And he will direct thy paths.

Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:looking carefully lest {\i there be} any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble {\i you}, and thereby the many be defiled;

In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another;

He that saith he is in the light and hateth his brother, is in the darkness even until now.He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.But he that hateth his brother is in the darkness, and walketh in the darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.\par

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to the which also ye were called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.

The merciful man doeth good to his own soul;\par\tab But he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do to them likewise.

He that is slow to anger is of great understanding;\par\tab But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;giving diligence to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.\par

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.\par

But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;for indeed ye do it toward all the brethren that are in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brethren, that ye abound more and more;

Jehovah is gracious, and merciful;\par\tab Slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.Jehovah is good to all;\par\tab And his tender mercies are over all his works.

A fool's vexation is presently known;\par\tab But a prudent man concealeth shame.

For,\par\tab {\b He that would love life,\par\tab And see good days,\par\tab Let him refrain {\i his} tongue from evil,\par\tab And {\i his} lips that they speak no guile:}{\b And let him turn away from evil, and do good;\par\tab Let him seek peace, and pursue it.}

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.

Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, {\i even} in this: {\b Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.}But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.\par

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.

Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering;

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

By long forbearing is a ruler persuaded,\par\tab And a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

Great peace have they that love thy law;\par\tab And they have no occasion of stumbling.

For this is the message which ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another:

{\i doing} nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself;not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.

And he answering said, {\b Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind}; and {\b thy neighbor as thyself.}

who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, threatened not; but committed {\i himself} to him that judgeth righteously:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, {\i which is} your spiritual service.And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.\par

Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.\par

But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

He that spareth his words hath knowledge;\par\tab And he that is of a cool spirit is a man of understanding.Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise;\par\tab When he shutteth his lips, he is {\i esteemed as} prudent.\par

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfected; be comforted; be of the same mind; live in peace: and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise;redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Commit thy way unto Jehovah;\par\tab Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light,\par\tab And thy justice as the noonday.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

But when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, {\cf6 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.}

The north wind bringeth forth rain:\par\tab So doth a backbiting tongue an angry countenance.

In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.\par

Do all things without murmurings and questionings:that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye are seen as lights in the world,

Therewith bless we the Lord and Father; and therewith curse we men, who are made after the likeness of God:out of the same mouth cometh forth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.}\par

A gentle tongue is a tree of life;\par\tab But perverseness therein is a breaking of the spirit.

Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one.\par

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.}

For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:

So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.\par

And he hath said unto me, {\cf6 My grace is sufficient for thee: for {\i my} power is made perfect in weakness.} Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.\par

By pride cometh only contention;\par\tab But with the well-advised is wisdom.

Be strong, and let your heart take courage,\par\tab All ye that hope in Jehovah.\par

These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.}\par

Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.\par
